Kai still looking at her said yeah. "We can't wait, we have to find this thing. We can't just hide." He agreed.

Inferno pushed herself out of the bed, a little wobbly on her feet.

"First we need to figure out exactly what happened to the first student that was killed, that Griffen." She said.

Kai pushed the chair back as he got up. He looked at inferno, then walked out the door, holding it open for her.

Inferno walked through the door, nodding her thanks to Kai.

Where would they keep the bodies? She wondered. Probably somewhere that other students couldn't get to. We'll have to sneak around to find them.

Kai quickly followed inferno as they roamed the halls.

Inferno stumbled a bit when they were walking next to the back wall of the school, and when she looked down, she saw a small handle on the ground.

Kai followed her, he looked at the handle too. He crouched down and examined it.

The handle led to a door, more of a hatch really. And that hatch led down into what looked like the basement of the school.

Kai opened the hatch leading to the basment. He let inferno go first then followed after her.

Inferno grabbed the handrails, not trusting the wooden steps that creaked and groaned underneath them to hold up their weight.

They descended carefully, taking great care not to jar anything from the damp stone walls or make to much noise.
