You may use one item unless it must be used with another item, such as the cage must be used with bait. The hunter’s guide is also usable, but there is currently no room in your backpack to keep the whistle. It will remain in the boat in exchange for the hunter’s guide being removed.

Sure, I don't see why not! :D You grab a low branch and pull yourself up into a lone tree. You place the rabbit in the cage. Climbing to another branch, you stare in eager anticipation. An opossum crawls out of a hole in the tree and snags to bait. (That was a fun idea I was hoping you'd catch something lol)
