You lay out a few more blueberry chunks for the rabbit! They watch you closely, slowly finishing the first chunk they had nabbed before sitting for a moment, like considering something. Finally, the rabbit seems to have gotten the courage to come forward once more and nabs another chunk, only taking two hops away this time! The process repeats until they are comfortable enough to eat right next to you, though still seem slightly wary. They look at your hand briefly, but don't move to sniff it and look at you curiously

Carefully, you stand up with your new rabbits in tow and gather your things, heading back to the forest clearing! Miller notices that you've come back and greets you with a small wave, before beckoning towards the lantern, like asking for it back. "You can keep any extra items you still have." They say briefly, before spotting the rabbits. "Would you like to give them names?"

I take a couple more chunks and hold them out in my palm, careful not to make any sudden moves or noises that may scare off the tiny new friend.

You put some chunks in your hand and slowly extend it towards the rabbit, making sure not to make any sudden jerks or loud sounds. This seems to work, as the rabbit sniffs the air a little bit before stretching their neck out and taking a small piece, pausing briefly to watch for your reaction. When they feel safe, they stay close to you and finish eating before eagerly looking for another piece. The rabbit starts to munch from your hand, seemingly to get more comfortable in your prescence and finishes the blueberries in a few minutes! They seem content, loafing next to you

You speak to Mitzy and Evan to get your desired items before placing what you can inside of the backpack and carrying the basket in the other hand. You head back over to Miller with a filled out form. They look up from their book once more before spotting the form and reach out a hand to grab it. You hand it to them, and after a moment they seem satisfied and beckon you to follow them towards the western trail. The fog is thinner than usual today, but Miller offers a lantern to you anyways

After the little friend finishes the food, I begin to softly hum a little lullaby and see if they'll let me give them a couple head pat pats.

You start to softly hum a lullaby to your new friend, reaching your hand out to stroke their head. Their eyes open a little when you first touch them, but they seem to settle down again after a few seconds and resume loafing sleepily, seeming content with the moment you have created. There is no noise around you apart from your humming and a rare bird, yet you and your rabbit friend feel safe. The rabbit opens their eyes after a little while and seem to notice the basket sitting next to you, curiously sniffing a little bit

A) inch the basket closer to them to see if they'll go in

B) see if they'll let you pick them up
