Dawn You squeeze into a small room, and can hear water running somewhere nearby. When you find the inscriptions. They feel slightly damp under you hand, but haven't eroded. They're either very fresh, or the drip is. Backpack: 5/5 (falconry equipment, ring, machete, rabbit bait [2/3]) Boat: 6/10 (hunter's guide, boat lantern, cage, binoculars, notes) Choose one of the following actions: Use item: Rabbit bait is currently usable. You may use one item unless it must be used with another item, such as the cage must be used with bait. Move: south, east, west, north are open. You may move in one of these directions. Exchange items from boat to backpack or vice versa: You may switch items between your backpack and the boat, because you have a boat lantern and can find your way back. Return to boat following lantern: return to and stayat your boat, unlike the previous option which returns you to your current square. Discard items: You may discard any item. It will no longer be usable. Previous Adventurer’s Notes are depleted. You can discard this item to free up space in your backpack without losing anything important.

You head north, coming to a large mountain. At its base is a tangled mass of all kinds of plants, blocking entry. You'll need a machete to pass through this way. You return to the beach for now. You see red, blue, brown, and purple plants. Ending m Midnight m You head east and sit on a log. This is it, your last bait. You’ll be heading back soon. You look up at the sky, wondering where your red owl has been, and wondering if it will return with another bird. So far, you’ve only caught that one. You place the fish in your cage, wincing a little at the smell. The can’s been open a little too long. Maybe, though, the bold smell will catch the attention of more birds. You place it out a little ways from you and wait. It’s now fully dark, with just moonlight and a few stars to illuminate the sand. You look at them, finding familiar constellations. Something makes a sharp noise and you start, looking down from your ponderings of the sky. It’s a seagull! In your cage! Congratulations! You have captured a red seagull!  As you’re freeing the bird from its cage and speaking soothingly to it to calm it down, a shadow passes over your head. You glance up, and see your owl hovering. You set the frazzled seagull aside, and pull on your falconry equipment, welcoming in the owl. He gently places a small bundle next to the seagull, then lands. Congratulations! You have captured a natural finch 3!  You return to your boat, the three of your birds seeming to warm up to each other. You load up all your materials and head out, paddling back toward the mainland. The way is smooth and easy under the moonlight, but your luck changes when you arrive on shore. Suddenly, there’s police tape everywhere, and you’re escorted to a small room in a large building, where a few officers question your connection to a person who sounds a lot like the one you purchased your supplies from. Your head spins. It’s been a long time since you were home, and you were just hoping to get some sleep. But it seems to be that you’ve gotten yourself into something much bigger than yourself… m Thank you for joining this journey!
