Dawnforest You start your trek off to the right, towards the small creek. The water softly ran over stones that were worn smooth over the years, small fish making their way through the stream. Down the way a bit, you see what appears to be a net of sorts spanning over the width of the creek. Odd. Small fish got caught in it's grasp and wriggled around in it. - Do you... A) Go free the fish B) Watch the net C) Walk up stream D) Your choice -- Shadow Tree You walk towards the water, sea spray splashing on your face and coating you with a salty mist. The water was a vibrant shade of blue and nearly completely clear, allowing you to look out into the water to see crabs and coral further out near a drop off. "Do Aracnicats live in the water?" You faintly wonder to yourself as you take a step, a foot falling through the sand. "What the hell?!" - Do you... Dawnforest You sit down and watch the net from behind a tree, grinning as a small Aracnicat emerges from it's nearby burrow to it's net-like web, it takes a few cautious steps out onto the thin strands before reaching it's clawed paw into the water and swiping up a fish. It catches the wriggling creature in it's jaws before padding back to the edge of it's burrow and sitting down, pinning the fish to the ground. It takes a bite of it's back and quickly swallows it before going in for another. -
Do you... A) Toss your bait towards it (-1 salmon) B) Call out to it C) Sneak up on it to try and trap it in the plastic tub D) Your choice -- Shadow Tree You try to yank your foot out of the sand, ultimately succeeding but falling on your butt in the sand in the process. From beneath you, you feel something wriggling and mewing for help. You quickly get up and look down to see a tiny Aracnikitten in the sand. You squished the poor baby! The teeny kitten looked up at you with scared eyes as it tried to get up, yelping when it put weight on it's leg. -- Do you... A) Pick up the poor baby and put a bandaid on his leg (-1 Bandaid, 9 left) B) Give the baby your bait (-1 venison) C) Walk away from the kitten to find a different Aracnicat D) Your choice |

Dawnforest The Aracnicat startled when you threw the bait, scampering down it's hole for a few minutes before poking it's head back up and sniffing at the salmon. It gingerly took it into it's mouth and began dragging it back into it's den before two small kittens climbed up around their mother and pounced on the raw fish. The mother dropped it and tildes her head, crawling back out and sitting a couple tail lengths away as her kittens played with the food. Sniffing the air, she looked right at where you were hiding and her fur raised. She ushered her kittens back into the hole with the food before stalking toward you, hissing. - Quick! Do you... A) Have Sebastian teleport you a small treat (15 Mush + 50% Chance of calming her) B) Back away from the mother C) Your choice -- Shadow Tree You pick up the poor baby who hisses at you until you put the bandaid on his tiny leg, almost instantly healing him. The kitten helps in surprise before looking at you and mewing. He rubs his head on your cheek and purrs softly as a thank you. - Do you... A) Set the kitten down and follow him home (50% Chance of there being at least one other aracnicat) B) Set the kitten down and go search for another Aracnicat (5% Chance of the kitten following you home) C) Take the kitten home (Bait is kept for your next explore) D) Your choice |
