If you retire a wolf, it essentially dies (leaves the game) and you get a bone fragment where you can use it to buy stuff in the market place.

If you free range a wolf, it has a chance to go into the santucary where others can bid on it and get it. You do not get bone fragments for free ranging a wolf

I chose the neutral alignment because my wolves are just animals, they do not necessarily see good or bad. And being neutral means I can have the best of both words (darkseekers and lightbringers) without having to choose a side. Also, my pack is kinda isolationist, and I just want to play the game by myself without getting into this whole waging-war-faction stuff.

For these reasons I believe the neutral alignment is superior.

I chose neutral because I didn't want to be involved in a war - neutral sounded like the best way to peacefully exist. The best part is that no one can force me to pick a side :D

I read the battle boosts and thought to myself, why have a temporary boost when you can have a constant one? Have never found a reason to change it since.
