If I go with Jakob then the average timeline works fine. We'll pick up after Quincy ran off never to be seen/heard from again anddddd yeah.

If I go with Smith then I'll alter the timeline a bit to speed run Aries still in an arena so that I don't have to change too much about his character design and all. Other than that, we're good.

Regardless of whether I use Smith or Jakob- Troy would have been with Aries before the present toxic relationship and would come back after Aries breaks up with the present one somehow. This signaling a new one. Of course, with Jakob, this would be the only change to the average timeline where Troy doesn't come back. Sooo, yeah.
