Garvin definitely develops the habit of seeing abandoned and/or hurt animals and just... Bringing them home with him. How is he just supposed to ignore and leave them there?? He cannot and he will not. Even when Revan and/or Ingall denies having more pets. He refuses to not do anything for them. He could be on his way to a date with the polycule but if he sees an animal on the side of the road, he's stopping and adopting the little thing. It doesn't matter how busy he is.

Yes, Garvin being a huge sci-fi nerd is adorable and must happen. He has never watched anything before but he sees Star Trek for the first time and just immediately is distracted by it.

Maybe the polycule should become a foster home for animals so they can nurture them and make sure they find the most suitable homes... Not that they won't have at least five cats. They definitely will. And probably a dog, though dogs are much more stressful for Ingall, so it'd have to be well-trained. I mean the shedding from cats isn't great, but Gal can handle it, dogs are more likely to track mud and stuff in though, lol

I just imagine Akira and Garvin benge watching all the Star Trek and Star Wars series/movies for days on end, like, to the point where everyone else gets mildly concerned about it... And then they totally bicker about favorite characters and which show is better XD

Well, the polycule will have at least one dog. Named Rover. Because please get Rover away from Andi too. So five cats and a dog at least for sure. No worries, Rove is very well behaved.

Oh they totally would- It'd be adorable and slightly concerning. But I totally love the idea that the first time they binge watch it (because they totally do so multiple times) they're binge watching it from like, late June through all of July. It's the first time either of them ever watch it and it just completely takes all of their focus away from everything else. Like, Garvin doesn't even notice it's July level of distraction lmao
