ThisIsAPackName said: Depends on the mythical creature, I guess? If in mythology they're specified elusive, they'd probably be elusive in the roleplay. There would likely at least be some mythical creatures common and small enough to be kept as pets, though, yeah.
Makes sense :)

Lykalo said: There's this creature I came up with a while ago, I don't actually have a name for it, but it's basically a big (about shoulder-height of an average human) six-legged leopard with four ears, and short antlers that look like they're made of wood. They're usually different shades of grey, and their eyes range from vibrant green to a deep purple. They are solitary creatures, are not generally aggressive toward people unless they think you are a threat to them or the forest they live in.
Sounds like a forest guardian type of creature. But yeah, that sounds like a type of thing that would exist in this world, so we'll say it exists.

:') they are gonna be entertaining, I forgot how much of an angry bean she is until I was re-reading her personality.

I can't wait for everyone to actually start meeting, first introductions are always fun. Especially depending on how they meet.

Oh, it'll most certainly be fun. First impressions are incredibly important for perception of character, which is why we should fuck them up as much as possible, I think. Speaking of which, what do you guys think of Xander acting as a sort of tutorial pillar? He's relatively well-known which means he'll be easy to find, so I can imagine him being arrested and then handed over to the bond group and them basically being told "well, we found one of 'em for you, so find the others and figure out what you're supposed to do in order to subdue them. How? I don't fucking know, see you never" and then leaving.

That'd be hilarious. Though, I should PM you about something actually- Since it may influence the plot.

Oh, yeah, that'd probably be important. Please do tell me, then.

PM has been sent. Surely something can be worked out, it's mostly just some concerns and questions, after all. The mystery must be saved for everyone else though.

How would the bond group be assembled? Considering that not even all of the bonds know what they are. Would they just track them down based on rumors of weird powers?

I'd imagine some bonds would probably be easier to track than others? For the most part, I'd imagine it'd be more based on records of the spirits-appearing-during-birth thing than the ability thing. Could be possible that the spirits of the bonds told the King who their choices were, themselves, considering the Pillars got to reappear to tell them something but the bonds didn't. I'd have to discuss that with the owner of the heir, though, whenever someone signs up for the role.
