Cica So he is good enough to be finished and accepted, but I feel like he is missing something. Perhaps because he thought his father was a sailor (I'm starting to get really tired, so skimming is becoming a thing) he daydreamed about that. Imagine it: The adventure and unknown, so exciting! However, his mom sees his natural talent with storytelling, so she encourages him to stay home. Also he doesn't have a rough temperament so he would be quashed by rough and ready sailors. Perfect. Younger siblings have more of a tendency to enjoy stories. He could be very desperate for someone's affection, because his father has been absent in his life, and he doesn't know if he'll ever get to speak to him. Probably why he lets everyone trample over him. Perhaps because he likes that male role model not only is he insecure, but it caused him to be accustomed to looking up only to strong female figures, which is part of why he isn't a leader. queen. I'm not sure if you still want to try to spice Zehra, but what if before she knew her full parentage when she was a little child she took enjoyment in hurting things and she didn't know why which is one of the reasons she is frightened. Also Erteus is not part of the tribe group, so it would make him being her father that much more disturbing and untrustworthy. Also she could have a huge trigger about secrets, because of all of that. Because her mom might not have even been trying to manipulate her, it was just something that nobody would probably believe, so her mom kept it to herself untiil her daughter's powers became apparent and she started to ask questiion. Perhaps it took a long time for her to believe because at first she thought it was a myth, since Kraegiosans tend to be big on telling tales |

I just finished reading all the bios, and wow! I'm impressed by them all, we have a really unique set of characters. Must say I'm the biggest fan of Opal, though -- she's really interesting. |

I stayed up super late, and then while I was laying in bed, I started getting ideas for my own character. It was annoying, because I was wide awake and I had to get up to write stuff down, but I was like I'm going to be a zombie tomorrow. |

Wow, I'm really flattered that you guys like Opal so much. I've never had anyone compliment my character in a discussion before. I love your guys' characters as well. Kairos is a ton of fun, great personality, and his powers are gonna be a riot. More than Opal's, that for sure. I love his overprotective little sisters. Zehra's powers are fun too. And how did you write so much for personality and appearance? Freakin' amazing. Plus I love her relationship with her father. Persilia has a great personality, and again, how did you write so much for appearance? I think she'll interact really well with the other characters. Velarie is a good complex character regarding the limits of her kindness. She also has interesting views on nature which interact very well with her powers. |
