What's your greatest fears and why are you so scared of them? "Greatest fears... There's two. I'm afraid of ending up completely alone, and I'm afraid of not being good enough. The first is probably just because of my terrible friend-making skills, and all the times my friends stopped talking to me because we didn't see each other on a daily basis anymore. My fear of not being good enough... that's because it was always important, in my family, to be a high achiever, to strive for perfection. And, thinking back, it wasn't actually so much my parents pressuring me, it was me pressuring myself. I still can't get rid of that habit... I still feel like I have to be the best at everything, otherwise I haven't tried hard enough." If you could choose up to three people in your life to eliminate entirely, would you use this new power and who would you use it on? "I would not use it. There's no one to use it on. None of the people I know personally deserve to be eliminated - I wouldn't want to eliminate any of them." What's your opinion of romance movies, books, or romance in general? "I don't go looking for them, but I'll watch romance movies, and I'll read romance books - again, anything with a good plot and characters is worth reading or watching. Romance itself... is something I can only dream of, and generally avoid thinking about much, as it quickly becomes a depressing topic." Does pineapple belong on pizza? "I don't know, I don't care. I don't eat pizza." Theoretically, if you could, which career would you like to pursue? "...I don't know. There's a lot of things I'm interested in and that I would consider doing if the pay wasn't a factor: Art in its various forms, music (I've always wanted to be part of a band...), maybe a job out in nature, or around animals, especially horses... But pay is a factor. Software development isn't at the top of the list, but it's interesting, it pays well, and it's what I'm doing." Why and when was the last time you smiled? "Last night, just after dinner, when I was listening to my favorite band, and not thinking about all the work waiting for me the next morning."

Garvin: Does the smile have to be real to count? I'm hoping not, because even I can't tell where the fake ones end and the real ones start. So, with that in mind, I'm basically always having some form of smile on my face. So like, today, I guess. If we're counting smirks, grins, and stuff like that on top of what I already said too. Eh, it isn't too big of a deal to me yet. If I ever lose my signature grin though, that'd be a problem.

Determined_Wolf said: Questions for all: What's your greatest fears and why are you so scared of them?
- Mind your own business. Determined_Wolf said: lf you could choose up to three people in your life to eliminate entirely, would you use this new power and who would you use it on?
- Tch, only three people? Why give me a limit? Either go all out or give me nothing at all. I'd rather not have to use a wheel to pick out my enemies. Fate will get them eventually. Determined_Wolf said: What's your opinion of romance movies, books, or romance in general?
- Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Not a fan of reading. - ... uh, opinion of romance? No. Fuck off. I swear to god, if one more person tries to hit on me, I'm going to find a use for that three-death power very, very quickly. Neptune said: Does pineapple belong on pizza?
- No. Neptune said: Theoretically, if you could, which career would you like to pursue?
- ... - ... - ... - Good question. I guess I don't know. - Maybe I'd try an office job sometime. Sounds like hell, but at least it's a normal hell. Overthink101 said: Question for anyone who wishes to answer; Best day of your life?
- Once I met some celebrity asshole who was a pompous dick the whole night, and while she was leaving the room, I saw her slam into the door on her way out. It was fucking hilarious, and only I got to see it. Fuck the rest of you. - It probably wasn't the best best day of my life. I've had better, but, uh... those memories don't feel good to look back on. So I don't. Determined_Wolf said: Question for Xander: who was the worst and who was the best person you've ever dated? - I dated someone for a while who was... nice. Very nice, for a while. She knew her way around everywhere and had a friend in basically every area and she had a pretty smile. She got harassed out of dating me after the internet found out. - A year after that, there was this other chick I dated in private who kept stealing my jackets, which was fine, I fucking guess? - Then she tried to steal a lock of my hair while I was asleep. - I stopped dating after that. - Am I supposed to keep a record of every time I make a facial expression? Fuck off. Edited at May 16, 2022 03:22 PM by ThisIsAPackName

Why and when was the last time you smiled? "Uhhh... I don't remember? Probably when I was listening to my music last. I know I always smile like a dork when I have my headphones on." Two questions for Garvin: which puppies are the fluffiest? And describe sailor you were with. One question for Xander: do you ever regret being a model? Question for all: if you have any scars, how'd you get them?

Garvin: You mean at the center? Or just stray ones I'd met over my years? Ima guess you mean in general, and the fluffiest pup I've ever seen has gotta be this Pyrenees Mountain Dog whom I nicknamed Capri. Only saw him like, three times overall but he was definitely the fluffiest I've met. - The sailors I were with for a bit were great. There was Navis, who I've already mentioned. He taught me the banjo, and even gave me the one he'd used for years as a parting gift. There was their Captain, good ol' Flood. Never figured out his actual name, but I did find out the story behind Flood. Truly greatness, truly. There was the first mate, Jinx. She was hilarious, and rather kind. As much as these modern pirates could be, that is. There was Spade, who taught me a few tricks and tips in different card games. Then there was Phlox Aqua, who'd dyed their hair a bright sea blue, and tried to get me to dye mine a goddamn purple. Not just any purple, but the most obnoxious shade of purple of all time. They were all pretty crazy, in all honesty. - I have plenty of scars, and all of them are from me living my life. Kind of hard to not have scars, what with the way I grew up. I'm sure I even have some I haven't seen, just because of dirt or something covering them.

One more question and this one's for everyone. Do you have a lot of regrets and if so, do you wish you could undo things? (Also, question for the creators-- yes, you!-- do you see your character going on an arch and if so what do you plan or hope to happen?)

If you have any scars, how'd you get them? "I don't really have many scars, most are on my hands, and were generally left by knives - either kitchen knives or carving knives." Do you have a lot of regrets and if so, do you wish you could undo things? "Life is full of regrets, no matter what you do. There's no point undoing things, as it would only result in different regrets and mistakes. It's best to just make the most of what you have now." --- Do you see your character going on an arch and if so what do you plan or hope to happen? I don't really have anything specific planned, I'm just throwing her out there and seeing what happens XD
Some sort of arch is to be expected, I guess, I just don't know what it will be yet.

Garvin: Do I have regrets? Ha! What kind of question is that?... Yeah. I have a lot of regrets. Would I do anything over though? No. I don't think it'd really make that much of a difference. Besides, regrets are a part of life and without 'em, people are just lame. Or narcissistic dicks that think everything should go how they want it to. Either of those. -- I can totally see Garvin going on an arc, but I can also just as easily see him never going on one too. This being because he never gets to or because the opportunity never comes, either way- He's flexible, and he's already got a pretty good starting base. He can grow, he can decay, or he could stay the same. I don't have anything planned, per say. But if it happens, it happens. I'll just go by what I feel he'd do and if it happens to create an arc and eventually change how he does things or thinks- Then that's that. I'm totally trying to come up with arcs for everyone though. It's one of my favorite things to do, after all.

Determined_Wolf said: One question for Xander: do you ever regret being a model? - Is that even a question? Of fucking course I do. - A better question would be if I'd take back being one, and that'd be a no. I'd rather be alive and miserable than dead and okay. Determined_Wolf said: [...] if you have any scars, how'd you get them? - Accidentally. - ... I should cut my nails. Determined_Wolf said: Do you have a lot of regrets and if so, do you wish you could undo things? - I've said it before. Yes, I do, and no, I wouldn't. Determined_Wolf said: [...] do you see your character going on an arch and if so what do you plan or hope to happen?
Mainly, I have it planned that he'll get less closed off and quiet after being with the group for a while. Doesn't necessarily have to be that he trusts them. He can just see them fuck around for a while and realize that they can't really hurt him because they're incompetent -- or we could do it the sappy way, doesn't matter. Either way, he'll eventually start talking more and he will be very pissy and it will be great.

Ah man, Garvin is totally going to bother him so much. I need to start coming up with nicknames for everyone. So far only Fin and Mice have them.
