It’s an apocalyptic world. The creatures that run rampant now, nicknamed “zombies”, look very human, as they once were, but their irises have expanded, their eyes are bloodshot, and their skin is veiny and pale.By day, zombies travel in groups, attacking those unaffected by whatever caused the mutations in the first place. At night, they are nowhere to be found.

Imagine your surprise and horror when, after belaying through a ceiling one night while on the search for shelter, you see a group of zombies standing in a ring below you. Their eyes are frantic, and they are shushing you as they pull you down quickly. They push mismatched clothes at you and continue the shushing, moving you further to the back of the dark room. Behind them.

At that moment, you realize that there is a reason nobody sees zombies at night. There is something out there much bigger. Something that they are hiding from. All that screaming at night.... It wasn’t them.

How do you guys usually come up with new characters? Do you make them specifically for RPs or have ones you like that you tweak for different RPs? I always struggle to create characters with unique and diverse personalities and opinions.

I do both. Sometimes a specific role for a roleplay inspires me. Sometimes I have a character that I haven't written out which I use. Sometimes I have one I want to use and I adjust. The roleplays help me make different characters 'cause I try to think how to make them unusual in the role they are in or different from the other characters in the roleplay

I usually end up coming up with new characters. I haven't had a RP yet to where I have ones that I really like and tweaked them to the RP genre. I love a few of my characters but I like keeping them for the role that I ended up making them for. That is just how I am. I also like creating new characters too, especially when the topic inspires me for a good character creation. I just have too many characters haha.

Sorry I haven't been on either guys. Life has been crazy with so many things.

How do you guys get inspiration for your characters? Like, is there something specific you do when thinking up a new character? I always just sort of flounder around until I have a half-decent build, but it's agonizing.
