My recommendation would be to pick one or two things that you care for more than other things, and focus on that. It's difficult to breed for too many things, especially as you are starting out.
You can also try posting in the forum to see if you can find breeding partners that also want to focus on the same things as you ^^

Some people breed howlers & wrestlers for FMC (I think it is 5th-9th each month?), but I don't think those have any use outside of that if I remember correctly

It depends entirely on what you want to breed for. Rarity is only a pelt thing, but tends to be popular for their looks. Talents means your pups will start out with more CP, which is good if you're breeding battle wolves/ explore a lot. Many people love defects too though

Mythical creatures are basically like the boss of a terrain. They have very high health and deal extremely high damage in a single attack.

The mythical creatures and their biomes

Mythical creature - Biome

Bigfoot - Forest
Rougarou - Swamp
Weretiger - Jungle
Chupacabra - Desert

Yeti - Mountains

Amorok - Tundra

The only maythical creature that has restrictions is Bigfoot, and his restriction is he can only appear starting on Forest level 5+ and beyond; forest levels 1-4 do not have a possibility to find any bigfoot .
The other terrains have no restrictions for their creature whatsoever and the mythical creatures can show up on any level in all of the other biomes(including levels 1-4).

Technically yes, but Eve's aren't the same thing as the mythical creatures
