Appearance:
Char is definitely on the small side. He is definitely a light weight and weighs a wimpy 80lb, stands a stocky 26 inches to his withers and is 5 feet long. Also his smaller stature plus is fluffy coat makes him look like a stuffed animal sometimes. But his size isn’t quite a disability as he is faster despite his shorter legs. He also can cut corners better, but he does lack bulk, muscle and pretty much anything that would help bring down a moose. But he’s fast, so that counts for something, right?
His fur is shaggy and he’s hairier than the others which causes a problem in the summer, especially since he is coal black. Because of his long coat, it catches burs and often gets knotted. Sometimes brambles catch onto his fluff and pulls it out. He usually doesn’t notice this, but occasionally it’s a hassle because he is usually last whenever the pack’s on the move or during a hunt. His almond eyes are a gentle amber that look soft. His legs are stocky and thicker comparing to his comrades. His ears are proportionate to his body, snout and tail. His teeth look white, but only because it is being compared to his dark coat. His thick coat helps as protection during a fight, not very much but a bit more (like 2% more). However it also hinders because it warms him while he’s fighting, where he’s already burning up from the kinetic energy.
He’s had half-a-year's experience of being out in the field as a subordinate. He’s encountered several occasions where he gained scars. However, most of them are hidden under his coat and only one shows because it is on his face. It is a scrape down his right cheek, a condolence from a bobcat.

Paragraphs:
Char can be sarcastic and stubborn at times. He is intelligent at times and stupid at others. He has a quick, sharp tongue that often causes him trouble when he’s being picked on by the larger wolves. Whenever they cause him trouble he usually cuts them with his words, but they usually pound him if he can’t run off first. As a juvenile he usually won the races. However, he wasn’t a favorite. Occasionally he hung out with another outsider, mostly his sister. He also hates short jokes because he’s usually the butt of them.
He is kind to the weaker things and relates to them, as he is one of the weaker pack members. He is usually careful when it comes to being with other wolves. However, he does like to play with the pups, but only with their Mother’s permission and watchful eyes as he doesn’t want to dare to offend her. His kindness, however, only extends too far. He is very judgmental to larger wolves with their great hair and strong build. He assumes that they are all jerks and mentally scoffs at them and occasionally he expresses his thoughts. His words can have a hurtful sting to it and he can be indifferent. He often judges wolves first before actually talking to them. The reason why he likes to play with the pups is because they are still developing their personality and he’s hoping to “correct” the pack’s future’s prejudice. This shows his self-righteousness. He sees himself only as a victim, so he’s thrown several pity-parties before. He can be moody some days and isn’t exactly pleasant company.
However, he is logical and with wolves he can stand he can act goofy and immature. He usually has good advice that can come off as corny and cringe-worthy. He likes to run and just to keep on running as it helps him think and its usually alone-time. He usually has self-control, but sometimes wolves push it too much. He likes his space and doesn’t like others touching him. He is protective about the things he does love and will defend them no matter what. He is loyal to his close friends as he doesn’t have a lot of friends. With friends he can be immature as most young adults are. He is quiet and thoughtful. When he loves you he will probably never stop loving you, and because he knows this he’s scared to love. This is part of the reason why he secludes himself, but he won’t admit that.

Rai was an older wolf female who really was too old for pups. She had two. Char’s brother died. She was sickly after birth, but strove to stay alive long enough to wean her surviving pup. She valued life over everything and refused to leave not knowing if her own child would or wouldn’t make it. She died when he was almost 7 weeks old. She was 8-9 years old.

As a female, Kappa is smaller than Char. However, she is also the smallest female in the pack and after growing up she is instantly omega. But not just for her size, she was born with a defect, she is missing her left eye. This is due to lack of nutrition when she was in the womb. To add to her woes, when she was a young juvenile she fell from a cliff this resulted with a brachial plexus injury. Her left front leg is weak and bent oddly out of shape. This killed her hope of making it to a subordinate. She was then doomed an omega. She has a feisty spirit inside and wants to be disobedient to her “bossy” superiors, but knows she’d then be punished. However, this does not stop her imagination and whenever she can, she plays with the idea of her rebellion.
Foster Mother: Twine (deceased)
Twine didn’t know Rai for long, but agreed to care and tend for Char and Kappa. She was always generous and compassionate and so offered to rear them. She was for most of her life an omega and died as one, too. She did not make it past her sixth winter as she died of an avalanche. She was four years old when she met Rai.

Backstory:
Char’s mother had been found a couple weeks after giving birth by the pack and were charitably taken in. Before she died, she arranged for an omega to watch over her pups and keep them in order. This was done by Twine. She was their mother-figure and she died when they were a year and a half old. The next summer, Kappa had her leg injury. They often attracted sentimental looks, which Char began to despise. So he ignored them or anyone who mentioned his losses. He spent the rest of the year hardened against the sympathy of others. They simply wanted to feel better about themselves by “comforting” the orphaned siblings. Any friendly attempts were greeted by apathy.
At the end of that year, he relaxed more as the compassion others showed to them lessened. He also decided to accept friendly greetings. However, his indifferent appearance that year injured his social life. His second year of life was when he began to play with the pups more and tried to correct their behavior slightly, however, he always favored the runts. This was the year that he tried to socialize more with wolves his own age, which ended horribly. The juvenile years aren’t fun. His closest friend was his sister, who clung to him like he was a life preserver in the midst of a wild ocean.
His third year began in around late spring to early summer. By now he hasn’t given up on the idea of a friend, but his expectations grow narrower by the weeks. Besides his sister, he talks mostly to mothers and pups. He usually doesn't speak until the other wolf starts the conversation. As his future grows closer, he is beginning to plot out his life which ends often him as Beta Male.
Other/Random Fact(s):
Favorite Food-- Char's favorite type of meat is hare, although sometimes the meat is kinda stringy. The reason why he likes it is because to kill one requires more speed than brawn. He feels like his skills are more used and he likes to be useful.
Grieving-- Char handles grief by pushing sentimental strangers away and comes up with negative ideas why they tried/trying to befriend or comfort him. He does this to give himself peace of mind when he refuses them.
