"A specific field, near Magiestien but not too close to it. It's always covered in flowers, with a big blue sky, and the air is always clear. The trees are only at the edge of the field, and they're just an assortment of maples and oaks. There's two little crab-apple trees near the far edge, where the grass is longest, and a boulder is set in between them. I used to find moose and elk skulls there. That's where I first met her, Nyxa. We used to run as fast as we could down the hillside, and roll in the dirt, and torment frogs in the small creek that ran through. At night we would try to scare each other in the grass. In summer there were berries growing from the bushes, the biggest black berries that I've ever seen. Those were easier times. "Triggers nostalgia? Hm.... Good question, actually. I suppose I could say that many of the pictures I have locked in my desk are "nostalgic", each in their own way. I don't take a lot of pictures, for many reasons, so they all are of rather special moments in my more "normal" life. Like the photo from the first trip that took me out of my home city. Or just the photo with one of my few friends.
