Jason was looking over at Addi, her mental straining concerning him. Eden snorted under her breath, "We are leaving. Goodbye." Jason turned back to them, but in an instant, they were already gone, along with his.. clone. Jason gently put a hand on Addilyn's shoulder, "I can explain more later,'if you want. For now, let's figure out the next step." Also... At a safe distance, Jason crouched down, and looked at the little boy. "Hi," He murmured, with surprising softness, "I'm Jason. It's nice to meet you."

Addilyn watched the coven of powerful witches as they disappeared with the little clone. She didn't know exactly what to say to that. Cool? There would be another Jason running around in a few years who looked exactly like him but may not have the same personality. She looked up at Jason and just shrugged, it was up to him to tell her. She didn't need to know, it was his own story, something that if he didn't want to share, he wouldn't have to. After all, she had just recently told him of her own life. It was completely fair if he took awhile to explain the rest of his. Destan had been holding Addilyn's hand and basically hiding behind her when the coven was here but now that they were gone he showed himself more. Then the guy, Jason apparently, began to talk to him. It was a complete turnaround to be dealing with his jerk of a grandfather to such a nicer guy and his sister. That thought was what made him talk for the first time in a long while. "I-it's nice to meet you too. I'm Destan, are you Addilyn's bond partner or s-something?" Destan's voice was raspy and he stuttered a bit but he was obviously very smart. Being able to ask a question that was something he probably shouldn't know about till he was older.

Jason stayed as gentle as he could, which was a surprising amount, "Well, Destin, I don't know what a bond partner is. If it's what it sounds like, I can only hope for that one day." Jason's lips curved into a smile. Being with Addi, settled down and all, would be a dream come true. Maybe one day. For now, though, Jason would take every bit he was given.

Addilyn looked away and blushed softly. Something she so rarely did, it looked foreign on her. Jason still had that effect on her, even after this long time. A small smile appeared on her face, man she loved Jason. "You're a-a little weird. B-but then again you're a h-human. Not like that's a bad th-thing. You are good for Addilyn." Destan smiled a little, poking his sister in the side. Even though he'd never met her before, he was already lightly teasing her. Addilyn grumbled a little and looked down at him, then to Jason. Her face flushed a soft pink.

"Being weird isn't a bad thing either," Jason grinned, standing up. He moved over and lightly kissed Addilyn's red cheeks. "You're cute when you blush," He murmured, "I should say stuff like that more often, then."
do you have any immediate plans?

Uh no, feel like they'd leave for Mexico in like a week? Especially since Addilyn low key needs time to prepare to beat the crap out of Jolon.))
Addilyn smirked, forcing her blush to stay the same color and not become darker. It was just so odd how naturally the blush came when Jason was anywhere near her. "Don't get your hopes up Jason. It was just a fluke, you caught me off guard," Addilyn said this delightfully. A slight hint of teasing in her voice. Destan looked up at Jason and Addilyn. Yea, he could deal with them for the next however many years. They were just weird. Something that Destan could completely relate to.
EDIT: Also, Addi's b-day in four days so there's that too lol So if you'd like to ts to that? thats good with me. Edited at July 12, 2019 09:13 PM by Soaring Free

Jason kept his voice low, "Guess I'll just have to catch you off guard more often then." Jason stepped back with a shrug, a smile firmly placed on his face, "Lets go back to your place."

Over the past 3 days, Addilyn had been busy learning everything she could about Destan. He had taken to the calm, quiet Brax and obviously disliked Al. Addilyn liked his taste in people. He also tended to follow either Addilyn, or Jason around. If Brax was there, he'd sit with him and talk in his hoarse voice. Amika, although nice, kind of scared him. She was obviously a deadly creature but was unnaturally nice. As was Ribs, so although he spoke to them politely, it was obvious he was scared of them. Al was just a big dumb oaf and Destan had told him that to his face. Which caused everyone in the group to laugh till their stomachs hurt. Destan slept in the same room as Brax and Amika did, granted, he and Amika slept on the bed, a pillow as a barrier between the two, while Brax slept on the floor and Al slept on the couch. Addilyn and Jason shared her bedroom which was perfectly fine by her. Today just so happened to be her birthday. What did this mean? Literally nothing. Addilyn didn't care and didn't expect anyone to remember anyways. She just slept in her bed, curled up in an almost ball like shape, her bow resting on the dresser beside her.

Once Jason was positive Addilyn was asleep, he stole out of their room to wake up Ribs. The guy was a spectacular cook, and in secret, the two had agreed to make Addilyn breakfast and a cake for her birthday. Jason knew what Addi liked best, at least, before he had been jailed, so Ribs began on the cake, and Jason put up a little happy birthday banner, and stacked the gifts on the counter. Jason helped Ribs as much as he could, but Jason wasn't a good baker. They finished the cake and put it aside at around 5 am, then began working on the breakfast an hour or so after that. Of course, it took a bit longer than normal, since they also made breakfast for everyone. Addilyn's was special, though, and consisted of all her favorite foods. Around the time when Addilyn normally wakes up, Jason thanked Ribs and picked up the tray. He made his way to their shared room, and gently pushed the door open, "Addi..." Once he saw she was waking up, Jason grinned brightly, "Happy Birthday."

Destan was awfully confused as to what was happening. What even was a birthday? Of course, he understood the concept but they were doing this much to celebrate Addilyn's birth? Humans were a little weird. The little boy tended to always wake up really early, so he was watching as Jason and Ribs made breakfast. It smelled really yummy, as did the cake. So he sat there watching as the two made breakfast. His intelligent brown eyes looked a lot like Addilyn's if they were just dark. Addilyn meanwhile, was still curled up in her little ball when she heard her name from the depths of a dream. She released a small huff before slowly opening her eyes. She had planned to tell whoever was waking her up to go to hell but then she saw it was Jason..and he was saying Happy Birthday. And then she didn't even care that he woke her up because he had remembered her birthday. Her eyes settled on Jason and the tray in his hands, a brilliant smile on her face. "Jason," she dragged out his name, "you really didn't have to do this." She was still smiling though, her eyes filled with gratitude and love. Addilyn wanted to kiss him but he was carrying the tray thingy and she didn't want to knock it over and make a mess out of breakfast.
