~Leaf~ "I know we agreed on fish and chips but where do you wat to go? And I'll meet you outside in a sec." Leaf picked up her keys, which she had apparently left on the bed post, and hurried out the door. "There's that new pub right across the street, my friend said it had good fish and chips." She locked the door and started walking down the stairs, man, she hated being on the third level of the dorms. "Oh and we should go back to that spot sometime, it was fun. Other than the getting wet part that is." |

~Leonid~ Leo barked a bit of a laugh at that. "Sure. I guess we should just stick to the original plan though? It's not like we have anything better to consider at the moment, really." Reaching downstairs, he paused, looking to see if Leaf was anywhere - she was not - then loitered in the shade of the building while he continued his conversation. "Fish and chips should be fine, really." |

~Leaf~ Leaf rushed down the stairs as fast as she could. She reached the bottom and open the door, letting the cool air wash over her. "So it's settled? Where did you park? Or do you want me to drive?" Leaf started thinking, what if Leo didn't like fish and chips? What if he was just doing this for her? What if he was unhappy? What if he asked her to date him? She paused and told her brain to shut up, this was just two friends getting together for a casual dinner. Plus, they both had one thing in common, a secret they could never tell anyone else. |

~Leonid~ Leo rummaged in his pocket, frantically feeling for his keys - were they there? They were thankfully there, and Leo held them up. "I can get us there." He wasn't sure why he was volunteering, but he was, and now here they were. Awkwardly, he put them back in his pocket, then start leading the way over to where his car was parked. "You know where this fish and chip shop is?" He hadn't heard much about any fish and chip stor nearby, if he was being honest. |

~Leaf~ Leaf sighed at Leos question. "It's right across the street, I will give you five bucks if you manage to miss it." She stopped talking as they reached Leo's car. It was a nice car. Certainly much nicer than her twenty year old hand-me-down she had got from her mom. Peering through the front window, Leaf could see leather seats. "Wow, nice car you got there." She walked over to the passenger side, her heels clip cloping the entire way. The door popped open with ease and she sat down. She turned to look at Leo as he got in. "Lets hope you're a good driver." |

~Leonid~ Leo was, in fact, not really a good driver. But when gifted with a car that was in better shape than most college students' cars (it wasn't made in the late 1900s, had a working AC, and didn't smell like twenty years of takeaway pizza paired with twenty years of perfume) he... didn't have much choice in the matter. Granted, it wasn't that new, and had a couple of scratches. At least it was his though - no matte what kind of driver he was. Although... being a good driver with Leaf in the passenger seat. Hm. Maybe that'd convince him to drive well. "Uhh... honestly, I have no idea. Maybe you could tell me?" he jokingly said as he reversed out of the parking lot and navigated the gravel parking lot that they considered to be the "student's parking". Really, whoever invented gravel roads clearly did not care about the quality of their suspension. |

~Leaf~ Leo's driving wasn't bad. He went over the speed limit once, but only five m.p.h. over. Leaf started telling him about thirty meters out that they were going to turn but Leo missed the entrance anyway. "How stupid do you have to be? I gave you TONS of warning. Just make a u-turn at the light." She sighed, pulled out her wallet, and handed him five bucks. They entered the restraunt, Leo holding the door for her, and heard the bell ring. For some reason, Leaf hated those bells, why did anyone have to know they were there? "Hello! How many in your party?" Leaf snapped back down to Earth as the employee greeted them. "Just the two of us!" Leaf used to be a greeter back in high school. She knew first hand how hard it was so she allways tried to be nice to them, she had delt with her fair share of Karens. Working at a restraunt could be hard, but the nice customers made it worth it; most if the time. |

~Leonid~ (Hold up. My brain just needs to get used to imperial measurements and driving on the right.) "Thirty meters isn't enough for me to stop!" Leo smiled, but followed her instructions anyway. At least he didn't accidentally crash the car or anything - Leaf was in the passenger seat, after all. He took the five bucks, but looked at it for a moment before looking at Leaf, now already out of the car - he'd find a way to give it back to her somehow, directly or indirectly. She didn't need to pay him for anything. It was only now that they were here, however, that Leo's brain honestly managed to think what exactly they were doing here. While neither of them had said it - it was more of "it's just happening in the moment", he was essentially on a date. With Leaf. Okay, maybe it was more of a lunch-date than anything else, but still. He was right here, with Leaf, and they were going to a restaurant to eat something. Which surely counted for something, right? Leo didn't really want to think too much about it. Or what it meant for th two of them. So... did Leaf actually like him? Or did she just feel obliged to do this because they were both wolf shifters? He didn't know. And he felt slightly out of place in the restaurant... then again, who cared? The only opinion he cared about in this restaurant, at the moment, was Leaf's. It'd be fiiiiiine. |

~Leaf~ Leaf sat down at the booth the waiter had led them to and picked up the menu. She said thank you to the waiter and started reading. "Who knew there were so many options for fish and chips. And just fish apparently." Leaf decide on the salmon, her favorite, and set down the menu. Leo was sitting across from her looking at the menu. God he was so cute with his suit on and his cocked head as he studdied the menu, he looked like a little puppy who had just been told to woof. Leaf had to admit, she liked Leo, not just as a friend, but as a crush. It was wierd to call him a crush, she sounded like a young schoolgirl. Leaf wondered if Leo felt the same about her. Maybe, just maybe, he did. Maybe, in some other universe, they were together. This was their first date, if you could call it that. Was this a date? Leaf wasn't sure, afterall, they were together, eating food, just the two of them. What was the deffinition of a date? This sure felt like a date. Leaf was glad she was on a date with Leo, of all people. Out of anyone in the world, she wanted to be here, right now, with Leo. |

~Leonid~ Leo hadn't realized his body mannerisms were being studied by Leaf. He just kind of... looked at the menu. Why was there a menu? Wasn't fish and chip shops just... exactly that? Whatever. It'd be deep fried. And deep frying things made it so much better. In fact, if they served everything deep fried, the world would taste better. Maybe it wasn't that healthy... but still. Eh. Making up his mind on what he'd get, he looked across the table at Leaf - they were really sitting at a table across from each other, surely this counted as a lunch date of sorts - and asked her. "I'll... go order at the counter. What are you looking to get?" He held out his open menu so she could point it out. |
