(I didn't realize how long this was 😂)
Addilyn took her place in the middle of the cleared area. The twins watched anxiously as Addilyn prepped. Her movements were practically silent now that her shoes were off.
This shouldn't be too hard. After all, the jeggings she wore weren't going to break or anything and they were stretchy enough. The hoodie wasn't ideal but she didn't really have time to change into anything else.
Instead of stretching, she casted a spell on herself. It would allow her to push her limits without actually feeling the pain until after.
Once she finished murmuring the spells' words. She looked up at Andrés, and Alvina, giving them one firm nod.
He started out slowly, the song started slow and filled with melancholy. Alvina sang in Spanish but anyone could hear how her voice was easy going and smooth. The song was about falling down but rising up again despite everything. The song began with a deep sadness. So Addilyn did the same.
Her smile began to appear as her legs found the rhythm again. A magic of its own filled the area. Turning everything from dark to light. The song began to pick up. Addilyn changed from her slow movements to faster ones. When the song reached the fastest peak, Addilyn brought out the real dancer within. Doing the one move that everyone knew, the Pirouette, aka when you spin on a singular foot in rapid succession(I believe that's what the definition is(?) I haven't done ballet in years lol) The spins doubled in speed and (I've actually forgotten the term for this next thing so just imagine it instead lol. At least, one portion of it is the name. The rest is just Addilyn I believe(?)) Addilyn then, while spinning, made her chest parallel to the ground and reached out her hand. Using a bit of wind magic to help keep her spins going.
From there, she lightly trailed a circle in the ground around her and as she lifted her body back up. Fire.
Fire rose from the circle.
At precisely the right point where the melody was reaching its peak. As she rose, so did the flames. They danced with her.
Addilyn had slowed down her spins to make up for the creating of the fire but she went faster this time. The twins' jaws dropped in awe as Addilyn's eyes turned lighter than they'd ever been. The lightest green possible. Of course, Addilyn didn't know this.
Her hands raised above her head and the flames rose too. Now reaching her waist. She was smiling though, this was obviously part of the plan. Alvina's voice rang through the air clear and sharp as it began to slow again. And so did Addilyn. The flames fell but in a soft, gentle way, not immediate extinguishment.
Addilyn stopped her spinning and went back into the gentle steps she had began with. Her eyes fading back to their normal color. Her small jump then a smooth landing on her knees ended the song.
And there was silence.
