Addilyn hadn't said anything, though had stayed as tight and as close to Jason as she could. When he wrapped his arms around her she didn't hesitate to hug him back. Tucking her head into the crook of his neck as she shivered. The cold, wintery air biting her skin. She listened intently to Jason, her eyes closing as she calmed down and heard the words she'd been longing to hear for the longest time. When he was done, she pulled back, just so he could see her face, and spoke completely steadily despite the cold. "I love you too Jason. More than anything else in the world. And thank you for saving me. I love you," her voice was true and she pressed her forehead against his. Water dripped down her face and her lungs still felt watery, but more than anything she just wanted to be close to Jason again. The guards looked confused on what they should be doing in this situation. They stayed away from the two but kept their guns trained on them. Since the female seemed to know where she was, she would have to come forwards when she got the chance. As for the humans she had brought, well they weren't too important. They could stay in the barrier for a while yet.

Jason kept he guards and their guns in the corner of his eyes, but his main focus was Addi. She filled up his heart and vision, and at long last, he kissed her. He felt disoriented, but this was what he always felt when kissing Addi. She had that effect on him. Jonas didn't know what happened. First they were ignoring each other, and now they were hugging and kissing on the beach after almost drowning. Based on Jason's quick reaction, he bet that Addi didn't know how to swim. The shock and fear must have loosened their guards, and made them realize how much live there was between them.

Damn, Jonas knows what's up lol))
Addilyn smiled against the kiss. Shivering against Jason though it was already slowing. A wave of gentle heat kept her warm and while she probably should've gotten hypothermia, her powers kept her safe. She was practically glowing with happiness and radiated peace and warmth. Her green eyes closed as she kissed Jason. Slowly, she pulled away from the kiss despite the fact that she really didn't want to. Her eyes glimmered though the reluctance was obvious. "I'm sorry. I really want to keep this going, but we aren't exactly in the safest position till I tell them what we're here for. I promise we can continue this later. That's if you want to of course!" Addilyn rushes the last sentence, suddenly worried that maybe he really wouldn't want her after this even though she desperately wanted and needed him.

Jason kissed Addi's cheek before standing up, helping her along. "Of course, Addi. I just kissed you and said that I love you, but you still have doubts? I promise - you are the only one for me." Jason felt those words ring true in his mind. He always doubted that Addi really loved him, and that she wouldn't leave him for someone else. Now, though, he saw the truth. They loved and needed each other.

Addilyn gave Jason a tired yet loving smile. Gently taking his hand in her own as she stood up. "Thank you Jason, thank you." She smiled once more before walking towards the guards. Immediately they raised their guns and hands. One of them had sparks coming off his fingertips. A woman approached them. Her cat like eyes dark grey in color. "You're obviously here for a reason. Please state your name and if is on the list you'll be allowed in. Also state your current level or the level you had when you were last tested." Addilyn snorted softly, muffling the sound of laughter with a closed mouth. When she spoke again, she was completely at ease. "Addilyn Stevenson, last time I was here I was a level 8." The woman's eyes turned yellow and hazy before slowly reverting back to the normal grey. "There is no record of an Addilyn Stevenson, Garcia sure, she also had a level 8." Addilyn hesitated, her green eyes shining. "Garcia is a birthright, not a name. It's also something I haven't gone by in years." The woman looked over Addilyn with a new sense of respect. "You really haven't grown. You realize that right?" Addilyn glared, "sorry sorry! Lori, please release Ms. Garcia's friends." She said the name as if it was a warning, and technically it was. Garcia was a powerful name in the witch world. The person who seemed to be holding up the barrier blanched, turning a pale white in color before vigorously nodding her head and the invisible wall around the others disappeared. Jason kept a comforting hand on Addilyns shoulders. Sure, he was very confused, but he also trusted Addi, and knew she wouldn't steer them wrong. She never had in the past, so now wasn't the time to doubt her. Hopefully she would explain later. Jonas went over to Amika, and lightly touched her arm. He gave her an encouraging smile, and walked beside her. He hoped she was okay with it.

Addilyn stayed close to Jason. Although they shouldn't exactly mess with Jason, many people found relationships with regs funny. They liked to beat up the regs and although she knew Jason could take care of himself in a fight, these were witches. They played dirty and used their powers. By staying close to Jason, she was letting the others know that if they do much as looked at him the wrong way she'd cut off their skin. After years of not being here the place had returned to its former horribleness, Addilyn would have to fix that sooner or later. She looked back at Jason with a small smile, she'd have to tell him later too. There wasn't a point in hiding this world from him anymore. Originally she'd been trying to protect Jason, knowing full well that he would kill Jason if Addilyn brought this world up. But Jason was here now, in her old home. This was her terf now. He couldn't mess with them here and in Mexico the problem would be solved. "Hey, by any chance is Andrés still here?" Addilyn's question was directed to the woman in front of her, she seemed to be the highest ranking and Addilyn still hadn't established herself as a powerful person. By talking directly to the woman she was saying she wasn't afraid of her. The woman furrowed her brow, as if taking in Addilyn again, "yes he is. Actually he's second to the mayor now after you disappeared. Or left, or got kicked out. There's rumors all over the place you see. Anyways, I'm Lena, Mrs please. And I can summon him if you want." Lena now seemed to be challenging Addilyn, the way she looked so smugly at her, as if she didn't know a simple calling spell. "I got it actually, just had to make sure he actually still lives here Lena." Addilyn smirked and closed her eyes, a bright orange symbol appeared in front of her and once she opened her eyes again it disappeared. She smiled triumphantly, her eyes flicking over to her friends making the way down the bridge. Amika stayed relatively close to Jonas. Mostly due to the shock and because he was a comforting presence in the sea of confusion that was her muddled brain.

Michael was no petty criminal. He was a businessman, and somehow, in dirty pants and a simple gray shirt, he oozed the aura of someone in a suit - someone who held a confidence and air of superiority. He knew of this places existence, but of the inner workings he knew not. This was his opportunity to see what was going on, here. In what was his mind there were choices - Walk amongst the group, lead the way, or run. It was obvious to him. Michael took the lead, to the relief of Jonas and possibly a few others. His walk of brisk, and had a no nonsense mood.

Amika immediately fell behind Michael. Though still in shock, she knew well enough not to be in the front. She kept her head down, not in embarrassment but to not look like a threat. Despite the fact that she was completely terrified of what was going on and that strange consistent buzzing her ears, her years on the streets still controlled her brain. Until she knew how to act for sure, she'd act scared and small, which wasn't too hard. Brax wasn't a leader but he was still confident and could understand what these people said since they seemed to mostly speak Spanish or maybe they were just trying to talk in private. Their Spanish was much more formal and quicker than his. Regional differences he supposed. Al looked as rude and cocky as ever which wasn't a surprise. Addilyn looked around, green eyes taking in the space. "Ya'll changed it up on me huh? Renovated a bit, though it doesn't look as good as it used to. Is my house still here?" Addilyn didn't say this with any emotion but anyone who knew her would know she was hopeful. "Yea, surprisingly enough. Andrés said that you'd come back eventually and since no one really wanted to disagree with the second in command we just went with it. A woman cleans it every other week and I think we might still even have your bike and you might actually be tall enough to not need help with it." Addilyn frowned, looking from the bridge to the woman next to her. "Hey, if you could shut up that would be great. Besides, didn't anyone ever teach you to respect the people who overpower you?" Addilyn said this jokingly but still with an edge of malice. Her height wasn't something she enjoyed talking about. And she was right about the powerful part. It was part of witch society. Although seniors should be respected, you should also watch out for those more powerful than you.

Everyone was silent, save for the occasional whisper of confusion. Everyone looked like lost sheep, save for a few, which included Jason, Brax, Al, Michael, and Addi. Even so, Jason and Micheal were definitely confused deep down. They were just better at hiding it - Michael because his face was like a brick wall, and Jason because he trusted Addi.
