"Well, that's a bit strange..." Sundew said. Then let out a small yawn and looked outside, night was starting to fall.

"I forget how quickly time passes when you are sitting alone," I said "Best you get to bed, I have to sit and brood the eggs. So won't be fully asleep,"

Sundew walked over to the corner of the den and curled up, her wings covering most of her body and legs. She tucked her nose under her tail murmuring "goodnight..." As she slowly fell asleep

"Goodnight Sundew," I said before perching my head back to get comfortable since I couldn't put it under my wing.

Sundew woke up before dawn, she raised her head and looked around. Deciding it was too early she fell back asleep. When she woke up again she could hear the few birds awake in the early hours start their night pitched song.

I had been awake all night like I said I would "Goodmorning Sundew" I probably looked tired, but you get used to not sleeping.

Sundew yawned " not sleeping sounds terrible " she replied stretching her wings out. " how are you sopost to focus? "

"a lot of training, and letting the clan guards take care of intruders and issues" I responded

"Huh," Sundew said then stood up.

"The role makes you heavily dependant on others, like when a female is a dependant on her mate for protection." I said shifting, the topic turning a bit uncomfortable.
