Zane helped pack while the others made last minute checks for any items they needed. They found a few medical supplies and decided to pack them for the walking people since Kaitlyn had literally everything they'd ever need.

Jason had a sense of regret in his heart. All his memories had been regained within a day or so of the incident. His head still hurt, but it wasn't as if he was walking around not knowing anything.

Addilyn of course, didn't know this. She wasn't planning on asking either, it wasn't her business. Plus, if Jason still didn't know her it would be weird to ask. And he might get mad at her again, but all this stress plus Jason's rejection might be to much for her. So she didn't ask. Addilyn didn't want anything to get in the way of this trip.

Jason was afraid. He was afraid of all the mistakes he made with Addilyn, how he seemed to have abandon her. She would probably never like him again - never want to be with him again. Heck, if he was Addilyn, he wouldn't want to even talk to him again! Jason hadn't been there for Addilyn in her time of need - he had been with James, or Rainbow. When it came to Al, Jason felt a stirring deep, deep down, telling him to hurt the man who made him forget - who caused him pain. He would never, ever tell anyone that, and hid it all behind a reckless smile, keeping his emotions locked down deep. It wasn't as hard as he had imagined, which made him all the more afraid. What if he slipped below his morals, below his standards... Jason was already at the edge, and it wouldn't be too hard to just.... Addilyn wasn't the only one who had been making secret trips outside.

Despite the insane amount of stress on Addilyn's shoulders and the terror of knowing Jason probably hated her; she was happier after the movie. It had lifted her spirits up a bit and made it a bit easier not to yell at Zane when he hadn't listened to her. Now she was staying as calm as possible even if she got annoyed. An impassive expression never left her face as it got near the time of leaving. Even though she never stopped pacing or moving in general, she looked as calm as possible knowing full well that at any minute that they could get caught or attacked. It made her restless. The bow and arrows on her back under her jacket reassured her, they reminded her of home. Of horseback rides with Jason through fields and sunny days where she'd hang out with her friends on the beach for the break. She had a sudden yearning for that old life, the life before this one but after the first part. Addilyn wanted to go back to that and guarantee her mother's safety and everyone else who she'd harmed. But that's not how her powers worked, she couldn't go back. So she kept barreling forwards. Even if it was only her left after it.

Jason knew that if the trip was to be successful, a main part of it would be making sure not to be recognized. That was especially true for those who had been in jail. Ribs had shaved his beard, and Jason had grown one in the past few days - nothing too much, just a scruff - and let Ribs take the scissors to his semi-long hair. It was much shorter now, and nothing got in his eyes anymore.

Considering the fact that Addilyn and her gang were wanted criminals, They also had to look different. Amika had gone for a simple look, her hair up in a high ponytail and her face had heavy makeup on. Making her sharp angles softer and in general making her have a more baby face. Addilyn meanwhile, had her black hair in her normal braid and had makeup that made her already sharp face even more angular. With bright blue eyes now and Amika was borrowing the brown contacts. Al had used Brax's hair gel to spike up his own hair while Brax let his hair down. After Amika had begged him, he had let her put some makeup on him so he looked different. Al had grown some facial hair and now had some nice shaving on him which was sure to woo some unfortunate girl. And Zane was just Zane. He'd be fine.

Everyone gathered out the side of the house. Alex, Kaitlyn, Aloe, and Zane (plus Strike) were going in a vehicle apart from the others, while the rest would work together to make it to Mexico. Jason and Ribs were ready to go as Michael pulled up with the car and handed the keys to Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn smirked as she took the keys, she loved driving. She hadn't ever know why but she loved it. Her rainbow hair shimmered in the sun as she spoke. "You guys should get going. Stay safe okay?" Kaitlyn said this to everyone as she got into the van. She had already gotten Aloe into a seat and put her wheelchair in the back. Zane would sit up front away from Strike while Alex would sit in the back with him and Aloe. Kaitlyn gave Addilyn one, hard look before taking off. The younger girl said nothing and gave no hint of noticing the look. Her blue eyes dim and far away.

Inside the car, Alex was motionless, her unseeing eyes closed. Slowly, slowly, she relaxed. This would be her first time away from home. The experience was new and terrifying, and she didn't know whether to be excited or scared.
