Anya (It's fine! I like the shorter ones lol ^-^ This one is a little on the short too.) Anya smiled gently and nodded, "I'm glad you understand," she noted as she fiddled with her thumbs quietly. She felt a soft rush of relief that he didn't seem quite so upset with her, and that she somewhat managed to calm down to talk to him rationally. Frigus seemed tired. Well, he had not only been dealing with her, but he had been going through the full moon, and from what she had been told, that took a lot out of him. Anya felt a little bad that he hadn't gotten to rest at all. She nodded quietly, "Hm, that makes sense." She said with a small smile, "No wasting." She repeated with a slow nod. She looked at the pelts as she debated his offer, "Maybe...In the night... If its cold." She shrugged before offering a bigger smile once she saw his own attempt of a smile. "I could eat... Yeah, but do you not want to rest?" She asked with a slightly concerned look across her face. Yes, she was hungry, but she didn't want to send him out if he didn't feel great. "If you're hungry, I'll have whatever is left over. I won't eat too much." Anya offered quietly as she looked at the spire-type-weapons. "I suppose I could wield one of those if push came to shove." Anya noted with a small chuckle. She thought the fact that he used absolutely everything from the animal, even antlers from deer, was absolutely amazing. She was so used to seeing everything wasted and thrown away to rot, this just made so much more sense to her, and it meant the animal hadn't died in vain. "I can shout you if I need your help at any point." Anya agreed with a nod.

Frigus (oh ok lol xD then i guess anythings cool) "I'm glad you understand," he listened to her speak and nodded, the tense air seeming to feel as if it was fading. of which he was glad of, he already had a massive head ache. It had definitely been a night way too eventful for him, and it was eating at his energy and mood. . As he explained his views on not wasting materials from his kills, his ears flicked to her words as she seemed a bit interested, "Hm, that makes sense." "No wasting." he returned the smile a little and tilted his head as he had offered them for her to use, "Maybe...In the night... If its cold." he shrugged and motioned towards the cracked concrete floor of the rubble cabin, "well, just saying its better than sitting on that." his bright white fur flowed in the early morning sunlight as he listened to her answer about the food, "I could eat... Yeah, but do you not want to rest?" he was a bit tired, and hunting while he was tired was a bit dangerous, but he was the reason she was here in the first place he at least could get her a meal after his harsh actions towards her words, "If you're hungry, I'll have whatever is left over. I won't eat too much." she shook his head, "no, i can rest after and your my priority right now, we split even or you eat till your full first." he stated with a slight smile, "its the wolf way." He chuckled at her next statement though and shook his head, "I suppose I could wield one of those if push came to shove." "well, it wouldn't be a bad idea. but ill grab a weak doe this time, not sure ill have the energy for a buck, nor will i need its antlers. ive got plenty of those for now." . his ears perked up as he was on his way towards the stream, ears swiveling back at her words, "I can shout you if I need your help at any point." he narrowed his gaze a bit, "not if you need my help but in case, Anything at all that could be potential threat shows up. ok? i need to keep you safe, and if you only call when things get bad, then i want to make sure im here on time for anything." he said before bounding off towards the stream, his paws thundering in the dirt as he made his way to the herd he tracked for his profits. As his paws splashed through the shallow brook, he followed it towards the sun until he reached an over grown field with a gnarly old oak in the very middle of the expanse. The large white canine crouched down quietly, his paws now silent as he hid amongst the tall golden wheat grasses, eyes narrowed as he stalked silently forwards, His fur standing on end as he spotted the herd not too far away. As he crouched low his muzzle wrinkled, there scents strong and really bringing up his hunger, and his instinct. so he readied himself for attack as he caught sights of an old doe.

Anya Anya looked towards the cracked and dry concrete before nodding, "Yeah, maybe you're right," She shrugged before looking as though she was mapping out and area to lay them. Maybe in the corner. Where the wind and weather wouldn't get to it? Anya looked a little confused about his stubbornness towards her eating last. She never ate very much, but if it made Frigus feel better, then so be it. "Alright." She chuckled, "We can split, then you can have whatever I've left as well. I'm going to assume you eat a little more than me." She noted as she rubbed the back of her head before gently motioning to him. At his next comment, she laughed lightly as she glanced at the large pile spires in the cabin. "Just get whatever you can. I think you're right when you say you need no more antlers." She added with a bright, childlike smile. She felt a little like she had done something wrong as he seemed quite firm with his next lecture, but she soon took in that he was just concerned he wouldn't be there on time if she needed him. "Alright, I'll call at dangers first sight. I'll be alright." She called out behind him before watching him bounce off. As soon and Frigus was out of sight, she turned to the cabin made of rubble. It was nothing like she was used to, for there wasn't even four walls, but she would have to deal with it for the time being. She could make it nice. Or live able. Or even just worthy to sit in. She figured that it wouldn't take very long, because the sheltered area was pretty clear already. All she'd have to do was lay down some of the deer hide and push some of the rubble next to one of the walls, just to block some more of the weathering. Though, it seemed like Frigus had been here a while- almost as though he had been living in there. She felt herself become a little worried that this was where he stayed. It wasn't at all safe, and there were predators around every corner. Of course, Frigus himself was the biggest but it still made her worried, well until she managed to talk herself out of such an idea. She went over to the pile of hide and started laying a few on the ground, and one folded up the wall to lean on, along with a few lined up with one folded at the top to make a makeshift bed of Frigus to rest on when he got back.

Frigus The large beast was just feet from his prey, he could almost taste it, there scent so alluring to his senses, he was hungrier than he had thought and his instincts still boiled strong benieth his pelt of snowy fur, his bright blue gaze wide as his pupils shrunk while the does seemed to graze, stepping a bit closer as he braced himself, tensing as he was now just in perfect range for a perfect strike, almost right under its nose, and his target was straight for the throat. this doe was rather weak and starved looking from the seasons, its time would be soon if he didn't take it for good use now. . His fur spiked as his haunches leaned back, claws digging for firm hold in the dirt as his body was pressed into the dirt, his muscles bunched till out of no where within a split second he rocketed out of the grasses in a burst of strength and power, hardly giving the doe a reaction time as it bleated loudly before his jaws clamped down on its throat, his force pushing it back a few feet as he snarled, the rest of the deer running off to the other side, bleating and screaming in terror, loud enough for anya to hear, and above that sound was the snarls and growls of Frigus, of which sounded beastly as an angry bear as he let his front paws hold around its neck, claws digging like hooked daggers into its skin and hide as he got his grip and began ripping at its throat, blood splattering as he gripped the trachea, ripping it free and flinging it to the dirt, the doe's bleats turning to gargles as blood poured out of its throat and soon it collapsed to the ground, the grasses painted in splatters as a puddle began to form around it, blood staining Frigus's white fur, but his gaze seemed full of a deadly adrenaline, something only wolves would understand. cold blooded instinct. . He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he regained his sanity and looked down at the kill, running his paw over its eye to close it gently as he lifted his head to the skies in an honorable howl, a sound so deep, yet enchantingly dark erupting from his chest, sending birds from the trees and a rumble in his paws, it echoing through the forests in an enchanting ancient sound past his time, before his head lowered as he pressed his forehead against the deer's and spoke with ancient tongue, "gratias tibi" then with that, he gripped the does back leg in his jaws and started his way back, his fur plastered in blood and jaws dripping with it.

Anya Looking at her little piece of work before smiling softly to herself. It wasn't very much, nothing like the comforts of her home but then again it wasn't even close to the palace. She seemed impressed with her work though, but she wanted to do more. She hated sitting around, however there wasn't very much to do, other than building towers with bricks like a child. Well, that might just be the how it is for a while, until she gets on her feet. She went to sit on the ground for a little while, running her hand over the soft deer pelt mindlessly. What would happen to her once he had gotten bored? Or when the blackouts started and Frigus couldn't stop her? She felt herself start to become more and more anxious, thinking of all the bad things that could possibly happen in the coming weeks. She sucked on the inside of her lip as she leaned lightly against one of the walls as she heard the faint growls of Frigus and the screams of the doe. He couldn't have been too far away, not if she could hear them, but then again, she assumed Frigus as a wolf could be quite loud and this was only confirmed when she heard his howl practically shake the ground beneath her. She took the loud noise as a good sign, one that meant he had caught something. She wasn’t surprised, he was a meat’s man, but she didn’t expect it so soon with him being grouchy. Anya waited patiently in the corner, with a few old bricks gathered in front of her, making a few odd structures while she waited. She herself was a little tired, so she had to keep herself busy so that didn’t fall asleep, fearing that if she did during the day, then her guards would find her, or someone would find her and rat her out. She didn’t know what she would say or do if something like that happened, but she supposed that she would just find herself blabbering on about nothing. It wasn’t like she was dressed like the villagers, so she couldn’t just say she was out on a wonder to a stranger. They would surely know that she was lying. Anya was a rubbish liar anyway, so she couldn’t explain herself without sounding super suspicious. Still, she had somewhat faith that Frigus would help her out in that situation. After a few minuets more of messing around with the broken old bricks, she saw a glimpse of white flash through the trees. She smiled welcomingly as she saw the large wolf appear, with an old doe in his jaws. She stood up and was about to say something before she saw the excessive amount of blood pasted up his front and sides. She almost wondered if he himself had been injured. “Are you alright?” She asked with a tilted head, clearly a little concerned. She thought of herself as a little silly for asking, because if he were in pain, surely, he would be showing it.

Frigus (sorry, REALLY short lol) The large male soon made it past the small brook, and towards the shelter, his bright blue eyes glowing as he huffed, panting as he dragged the deer up, but his ears flicked up at Anyas question and he tilted his head, "y-yeah, im fine... uh, thanks for asking." he chuckled a bit as he licked some blood from his jaws and glanced around a bit, then at his bloodied pelt and the bloody doe. there were a fair amount of cougars here, he knew he could hate them but he didn't know if he'd have any remaining energy for that. . The strong scent of blood would surely draw attention to any scavengers in the area, "i need to wash myself, and this kill off before any dangerous scavengers come about, would you like to join me this time? or would you still want to stay here?" he asked with a lightly tilted head, his anger had been mainly taken out on this doe, so it'd explain his better mood, and kills are usually exhilarating anyways. By the way this deer looked, with its gouged out throat, its head hanging by a thread, and its daggar like claw marks along its shoulders, it seemed to be a messy kill, but still worth it, although obvious that he either had some anger issues or his instincts kicked in harder than usual, of which it was a mixture of both. His bloodied white fur just splashed in crimson, the deer's hide plastered in it from where it fell in its own puddle, his eyes bright and contrasting with the dark crimson, seeming to look as if he was a cold blood thirsty killer.

Anya (Its fine! I tend to try and match whatever you write so length doesn't really bother me. So this one is short too! xD) Anya smiled brightly as he spoke to her. Well, she was trying to. The blood slightly disturbed her, and she realized how much of a weak stomach she had once she got a good look of the deer. She looked a little pale at it but nothing more. "Ah... No problem." She nodded as she clenched her jaw tight before looking away from the deer and the bloody white wolf. Anya had to convince herself that if she had eaten deer before, in the place, then surely a freshly killed one was not really any different- but it still made her slightly woozy. Anya nodded swiftly at his offer, deciding that if she went with him, not only would she be safer, especially if there were some sorts of predators. There would also be more to do if she was on her feet. "I'd like to come with you," She nodded before looking around, "I'd rather not stay around alone, not if there are scavengers around." She murmured as she glanced up at him, "If it's not a bother to you of course." She added with furrowed brows. It wasn't in sour taste, she just didn't want to hold him back at all, especially if he was grouchy. She still felt a bad, that he went out to get something for them while she wasn't doing very much at all. On the other hand, it was because he looked a little hung over that she also didn't want to leave him alone. Edited at June 28, 2021 11:08 AM by Hell Bound

Frigus (ah alright xD thanks lol) "Ah... No problem." he tilted his head slightly as he noticed her pailing and look towards the kill and his fur and he huffed with a light frown, "queezy?" he asked as he looked at her, hoping she wouldn't faint, "well... seems its gonna be rough for you for a bit if your uncomfortable around... well blood and stuff... but don't worry, once you get past a few times, you'll be ok. instinct will kick in later in your changes, soon it'll be gone." He flicked his ear as he listened to her response, "I'd like to come with you," "I'd rather not stay around alone, not if there are scavengers around. "If it's not a bother to you of course." he chuckled and shook his head, "no its not a bother, plus i could use a bit more of a lookout while i try and clean this mess off." he stated as he gripped the kill by its back hooves in his jaws and walked at an easy pace, "its not a far walk." . he stated as he drug the carcass to the small stream but it wouldn't be enough to wash himself off in. He drug the carcass in the opposite direction of the fields as the stream sparkled clear as crystals in the sunlight, soon enough coming to an easy flowing river with a pebbly shore that she brook connected to. dragging the kill to the water he lied it in a shallow pool area where the tide couldn't get to it, settling along the pebbles as he shifted back into his human form, blood still splattered all over him but he focused on rubbing the blood out of the deers fur into the water first, the blood staining the water as the crimson tints were pulled down stream. . "if you'd like to drink or swim, id suggest doing it up river, or your gonna get covered in blood stains" he chuckled and looked towards the water, "and careful, don't go too deep, it will sweep you away if you cant touch." he noted, making sure she knew that. he could easily go in and get her but he wouldn't be sure if he'd be able to paddle back safely with her.

Anya Anya nodded with a small smile as she followed along quietly. "I'm hoping you're right." She murmured as she hopped over a small log. "I don't think I'd live very long if I couldn't even look at any kills." She murmured , "Never mind eat any of it." She added with the quietest of chuckles.
It was a very short walk, but once they had arrived, she stayed at watched him for a short while, watching the blood as it dyed the river crimson. As he spoke up to her again, she nodded. "Hm, I think that's a good idea. I don't think I could watch this for much longer anyway." She noted with a small laugh before making her way a little bit down stream. "I promise not to drown!" She called behind her before leaving an inwards smile across her cheeks. She had been taught and conditioned to always carry a smile, even in the worst situations, bar a few. It'd be the death of her, she was sure, but it wasn't an issue at the moment. She found a nice flat bank a little bit down the stream, and it seemed shallow enough so she could carry out her promise of not drowning. Frigus was just around the corner so she wasn't too far away. It was quiet and pretty, so she was perfectly happy just sitting and watching the surroundings anyway. It was just a bonus that she could have a dip in the shallow water. She quickly slipped her shoes up and found a large boulder to sit on on the edge of the river bank, the water coming just high enough to cover her feet. She had to pull her dress up slightly but the ends still managed to get drenched. 'Great' She thought with a small huff before just pulling the royal blue dress up a little more. Anya ignored it and reached back to let her hair down, running her hands though it slightly. It was longer than it seemed, with a few small curls from the style it was in. She tried to use her finger to rid it of any knots before platting it loosely over her shoulder to keep it out of her face, deciding it didn't really matter how she looked, not if she wasn't in the eye of the public.

Frigus . "I'm hoping you're right." "I don't think I'd live very long if I couldn't even look at any kills." "Never mind eat any of it." He chuckled and shook his head a bit with a huff, "you'll be ok i promise" he gave a bit of a laugh, "if you weren't eating due to that id do the hunting for you anyways... if ever needed." he ran his fingers through the deer hide he watched the blood float off in little streams of crimson down the river, making sure to clean off as much as he could, the deer's skin already pale from losing most of its fluids. His gaze flickered towards anya as she answered about the water, "Hm, I think that's a good idea. I don't think I could watch this for much longer anyway." he gave a light hearted chuckle as he shook his head, blood still on his face and hands and chest, even down his neck. he really did look like he had went cannibalistic on a village. "I promise not to drown!" he nodded with a large grin and held up a thumbs up as he cleaned the deer hide with one hand. soon the hide was cleaned but he left it in the tide pool for a bit just to clean it further and soften the meat from the skin so it'd be easier to manage. . His gaze then flickered to the river bank as he paced in a bit, splashing the water up on his neck and chest, scrubbing the blood from his neck and chest and hands before cupping water in his hands and splashing his face, trying to wipe off the blood from his mouth and face. soon he figured he had gotten it all, glancing towards the water, he seemed to bloody up the water just about as much as the deer did. . Now wet and his pale skin glistening in the sunlight he still looked skinny but there sure was a bit of lean muscle there, the sunlight sparkling off of him as his tribal marking on his chest gleamed in the light, his white hair falling in his eyes as he glanced back to where anya was, giving a chuckle at her struggles with her dress. he wondered why they even wore those things anyways, they seem like they'd be snagged on everything. He then formed an idea and chuckled as he ran down the bank, splashing like a child as he kicked up all of the water before rolling down the shallow side into the water near her, "hey!" he chuckled and splashed her playfully, "waters nice right?"
