"Okay," Michael said, accepting she wouldn't talk easily. "Well, I kinda betrayed everyone at my work and made them think I was dead, so I don't need to go in," his face was grinning, "So I'm free today. I think something smart to do would be to talk with you about your plans, cause I'll need to sell this house and move with with Alex soon."

The corners of Addilyn's lips twitched for a moment when Michael made his sarcastic comment. When he spoke again, Addilyn listened quietly, rubbing her sore wrists, raw with rope burn. It's didn't hurt really, it just itched. "Well what do you need to know? Other than the act that we are trying to get to Mexico, there's not much else to it. I have fam- people, down there that can take care of my friends and I." Addilyn's sudden change in words was just another thing she didn't like sharing.

"Okay. How long is the trip? How will you stay under the radar? You have a big group - many will need to change their appearance to hide. Especially the ones who were in jail, or were caught on camera, which I believe is all of you, except maybe one or two. Also, I can get you supplies, just need to know how long they need to last." His was not the first time Michael needed to suddenly flee an area.

"There's a possibility that three to five people aren't coming. Especially now. The trip is long, depending on which route we take, the Rio Grande is the closest but of course we need to get across it without getting caught which is something I can deal with. I already have a plan for it." Addilyn sighed before continuing, closing her eyes and squeezing the bridge of her nose again to release the pressure in her head. "As for the appearance thing, we can hide pretty well when we aren't being ratted out. Supplies need to last for at least 30 days, probably closer to 40."

"What's the chances that the girl in the wheelchair is coming? If she is, that'll make the trip a bit longer, unless you are counting that in. And I can get you supplies," Michael said, plotting the trip in his mind.

Addilyn replied with ease, "I'm counting her in. She will be able to move along maybe slightly slower than the rest of us. Plus, I can always get us a SUV. It's not too hard. We'll have to abandon it eventually but it would get us there faster." She was working on other things too, obstacles that would get in the way of a quick trip.

"She woke up yesterday, real brief, but it's no longer a coma state. She's now just sleeping," he added in, "She will probably need two days, at least, to let her adjust." Michael Thought for a minute, and there was a comfortable silence before he offered an idea, "Two groups. One with less suspicious people who can drive with the girl, and another group on foot, or in another car."

"That sounds fine by me. As long as she is protected I think I'd go with anything. Also, are you some sort of doctor? Cuz is kinda seems like it." Addilyn's eyes drifted back to Michael's face, reserved curiosity in her gaze. She didn't exactly wanted to pry, she just wanted to know.

"I spent two years in medical school before I had to quit. Our parents had just died, and Alex needed someone to help her around. I forged a certificate that said I went to a police academy, and got the job," Michael explained briefly, only half his mind on the subject, though he did have a grim laugh as he said, "I might have left the life of dishonesty and crime if i had finished college. I think once you guys are in the clear, I'm going to find a respectable job, get Alexandria through college, or at least get her some level of education- she's real smart, A honor roll, - then settle down somewhere." His gaze had turned wistful.

Addilyn smiled lightly, her green eyes wandering back to her hands. "That sounds like good plan. You'll probably be able to have a pretty normal life after all this mess is over huh? Well, as normal as you can get at least." Her voice was blank but she was actually envious. She'd never get to live a truly normal life. Even before Jason and Charlotte and everyone, she would never have lived a normal life. Addi never would.
