Michael was checking in on everyone, making sure they were all okay, and having already walked in on Jason frowning at a phone while Rainbow curled up with their head on his lap, he wasn't expecting anything to beat that in weirdness level. He awkwardly stood in the doorway as he took in the scene. The first thing that caught his eye was Addilyn in the corner, which concerned him, and figuring they put her there for a reason, left for a moment, then came back with a tarp. Whistling to himself, he put the tarp on the floor, and hefted the chair onto the tarp, then grabbed a corner and tugged the chair along, with one hand on the back to keep it steady.

Addilyn was curled up in the corner asleep. Her head resting against the wall and her breathing smooth and steady. She had always looked different when she was sleeping, like a younger version of herself that didn't have the scowl. Mostly everyone was asleep too, Amika on the floor as promised. Curled up in her own protective ball, a knife hidden in her back pocket. No one really seemed to care about Michael's intrusion. Brax woke up for a moment, saw Michael there, then went back to sleep.

Michael simply brought Addilyn to another room, made sure she had to weapons, then untied her. "Well? You are angry, or were angry, and if you wanna beat someone up - go ahead."

Michael's words were met with silence. Not exactly stunned silence, though Addilyn seemed rather surprised. Her green eyes careful and unsure. When she finally spoke, her voice was steady but flat. "I released my anger earlier. I don't need to beat anyone up." She added quietly in her mind; 'I need to scream and cry. I need to be released. I want to tell someone, anyone. I want to tell them why I'm like this.' Her thoughts were carefully covered up before she continued talking. "Especially you. You have nothing to do with this."

Michael shrugged, "Then talk. You can spill your guts out to me - I won't tell anyone. The door is locked, and I have the key. You can leave if you want, just tell me and I'll unlock it." He was quiet for a moment, "You are sad. It's obvious."

The girl looked conflicted, her green eyes suddenly quite scared looking. Slowly she replied, her voice soft. "I can't explain it. You wouldn't understand. I'll put it this way. There is something wrong with me. I have always been forced to act a certain way and one day, I stopped. The person who was forcing me to act this way, he became angry. He knows people, so when I moved here, he pulled strings to make my life horrible. It's like.. almost a curse. Every single time I make myself comfortable with the people around me, he picks them away. He hurts them. But he leaves me alone every time. He wants me to suffer." Addilyn pinched her nose, trying to relieve the pressure that had gathered in her head. Why in the world had she just spilled herself out to a complete stranger.

Michael pursed his lips, "Who is this 'He' ? And I do understand. Some strange being is not new." He said no more, but thought about his little sister, with her once baby blue eyes.

Addilyn didnt reply for awhile. Debating on telling Michael one of her darkest secrets. No. "I can't tell you that. If I did, he'd kill you and everyone else in this house. He knows things." Her green eyes went out of focus for a moment and she seemed on the verge of tears. Then, the moment was gone.
