Automatically, Amika eagerly nodded, a smile on her face. "Yes, I do. In fact, I love it. Thank you Ribs." She smiled brightly at him before slowly continuing. "So, uh, are you going to sleep in here or with the others?" It was a particularly innocent question, nothing else behind it. Though she might have been teasing, or not. It was to be anything Ribs wanted it to be.

Ribs shrugged, and said with a sigh, "I honestly don't know. The others... well Rainbow, or James, or whatever, we were friends through Jason, and he doesn't remember me... and based on the way those two looked at one another... well.. I'm guessing.. they...want some time to... to talk..." his words were calm, though confusion was written clearly on his face.

Amika didn't understand as well. Everything was so confusing and horrible and was such a mess. "I don't understand it either, ha, it's funny how a month ago I thought I had everything together. Now it's just.. everywhere." She found it so hard to describe how she was feeling. So rarely did she ever say what she was feeling that this feeling was so very hard to explain.

Ribs passed a hand over his face, "Like you're drowning? The helplessness and fear... I.. I feel that a lot." Ribs chuckled, "They don't really see much of my internal struggle. Sometimes I'm glad... sometimes I wanna talk." Ribs sat down beside Amika, and gave her his best smile, "If you wanna talk, I'm always ready to listen."

After a moment, Amika shook her head. "I don't want to talk right now, probably not for awhile. But, it sorta seems like you're in the same boat as I am. Though, the boat we are in is a horrible boat to be on huh?" She gave Ribs a small smile. "But if you want to talk I'll listen. I'm pretty good at that." She gave him the smallest of smiles.

Ribs smiled, and although it was sad, it wasn't as heavy. "I'm not ready to talk either, just yet. I think we both need time... but we can talk to each other, right, Amika?"

"Of course, nobody else listens except you anyways. Plus, you're awesome in general Ribs, one of the best, kindest people here by far." Ami didn't smile again, though she seemed to relax a little. That was how comfortable she felt around Ribs, she was willing to relax, to not be on alert for danger. That was a flaw, that she should fix, but not right now when practically no one else was nice to her or wanted to listen to her. Amika's hair was still in its dutch braids and she still looked beautiful.

..."Jonas.." he said softly, looking up into Amikas beautiful gaze. "I'm really Jonas. Ribs was my jail name, and well, considering I was in jail until just a little while ago, I haven't been able to get rid of it yet."

Slowly, Amika nodded, understanding in her eyes. "Okay, Jonas it is then. I like Jonas better anyways, has a better ring to it. Plus, it sounds more of.. more like a human name." She gave him a small, encouraging smile, her blue eyes seeming lighter than they were a few minutes ago.
