Zane looked confused by the fact that Jason still seemed to remember Rainbow. The real question was how in the world was that possible, and why was Jason so.. touchy? Kaitlyn began to speak again in that blunt way of hers that made nothing better. Especially since her help had been rejected and unwanted. "She's never going to be okay, that's not medically possible. When she woke up I'm positive that she couldn't move her body and the only thing she said was 'mother' which means her parents are probably in jail or dead. When she finally wakes up, there's still a large possibility that her life is going to be horrible. Even if it is only a partial break. So no, she's not going to be okay." Kaitlyn said this simply, Zane looking at her with slight alarm.

Rainbow shut off all emotion, "To have her awake, is what I meant. Awake and alive. I know it's my damn fault, and that O.K. is never going to be okay, but good grief! At least snap at me where Aloe isn't. She can hear you." And Aloe was indeed tensing up, and frowning in her sleep. Jason wasn't quite sure what exactly was going on, but it'd have to be explained later. His head was still pounding, but he would not go crawling back to that witch for help.

"I'm not snapping at you, you'd know it if I was. I'm telling you what I can see from her condition right now. She also deserves to know what her life is going to be like no? She's stronger than you know, fighting out of a coma that quickly, I've never seen anything like it. So yes, I was telling you the bad things first. The worst possible case scenario, yea, there's still a real good possibility that she'll gain control of everything other than her legs. These are good things. Rainbow or whatever your name is cuz I don't know anymore." Zane watched Kaitlyn and Rainbow's(?) interaction with a steady gaze.

Rainbow just shook their head, "Look, I'm going to walk away before I make things worse. I'm too angry and fog-headed to do much good." And Rainbows fists were shaking slightly, though their voice was steady. They had to learn when to walk away.

Zane nodded and spoke before Kaitlyn could be blunt again. "I think it would be best for everyone if we took a break from each other. Though, eventually I think Jason should get checked out by Kaitlyn. She may be rude and annoying but she's a pretty good doctor. And memory loss isn't something to mess around with." Zane said this calmly, thinking that maybe he should separate the others too.

Jason and Rainbow both agreed, and Rainbow said they would make sure Jason didn't over exert himself. Then, the two left.

Zane brushed himself off as he stood up. Kaitlyn looked at him with a blank stare, "I'm gonna tell the others. After that I think we should- well you should- talk to her. If it gets any worse Kaitlyn, neither you or I will be able to hide her any longer." Kaitlyn nodded slowly, "yea I know. What's gonna happen if she finally cracks?" Zane took awhile to respond, "well then she'll get to Mexico herself." He said this simply and Kaitlyn sighed heavily, nodding then turning to look out at the snowy landscape spread out before the window. Zane walked quietly over to the room where Addilyn was being held captive and where Brax was taking care of Al's bleeding arm. Quietly closing the door behind him before speaking. "So, the others need space so I think we all have to cram in here. Well, maybe not Ribs. Probably not Ribs. I don't even know anymore. Ribs, can stay wherever he wants. The rest of us need to stay in this room or with Kaitlyn." Amika nodded in agreement, she was sitting down on the floor, rubbing her face with her hands. Brax had stopped trying to console Addilyn who was now in a deep sleep. Al meanwhile was gettin his shoulder bandaged by a serious looking Brax.

Ribs was overwhelmed, unsure, and totally and completely panicked about everything, but simply went through the motions. He made sure everything that might have been knocked over was upright, made sure Al would be okay, then went over to Amika holding out some little Knick-knack he thought might make her feel better. The little things was a rose colored pebble strung on a simple lace, with the letter "A" carved in it (he borrowed Jason's carving knife), and handed it to her with a smile.

Amika looked up at Ribs from her spot on the floor as he held out a gift. That's what it was to Ami, a gift. Something she hadn't gotten in years. The last time she got a gift it been her birthday and it was her first year on the streets. Iris had stolen a chocolate bar and that had been Ami's gift. Looking up at Ribs with renewed energy. Gently taking it from him, she looked at the rock with a smile. "Thank you Ribs. I don't think you know how much this means to me but I really appreciate it." Looking back at him she gave him a real smile. And for a moment, she was happy again.

Ribs rocked on his heels, "So," he cleared his throat after his voice cracked, and looked down, "You like it?" There was a hopeful lift in those words. He wanted to make Amika happy.
