Zane was about to slip out of the front door when a soft voice stopped him. "You're really about to go and do that right now? You realize that could cause even more problems. Right?" Zane rolled his eyes at Kaitlyn's disapproval. The girl had set up a little area for her and Aloe, it was next to a window where the snow was falling thicker now. Aloe was in her wheelchair hooked up to and IV with a blanket over her legs. "You have to understand Kaitlyn, she's breaking and her grandfather will not be happy with it." Zane's voice was surprisingly serious despite the fact that he was always happy. "So talking to the coven is going to help? That's a bad idea Zane. They'll eat you alive." Another roll of his eyes, "I can take care of myself thanks. Well, now that I think about it, can't you help her?" Zane turned around to face Kaitlyn who looked angry. "You know I can't, that's not in my range." Zane sighed, "can you at least talk to her? Please." Slowly Kaitlyn nodded her head, "yes. Now get over here you little nerd and sit down with me." He smirked then walked over to her, he was still ever so mature. Amika had grown quiet now, her eyes shut off and her normal cheerfulness had disappeared. Brax went over to Addilyn and began trying to talk to her in Spanish. She didn't seem to respond much to it though.

Aloe's fingers twitched, and slowly clenched into fists. Her eyes fluttered open, and she winced, "Owie.." Her head hurt so bad, and everything hurt so bad, but there was no feelings in her leggies.

Kaitlyn's eyes widened as Aloe's eyes fluttered open. This was crazy. How in the world had the girl recovered so quickly. What had she heard? "Aloe? Can you hear me sweetie? I know you don't know me, but my name is Kaitlyn. I need to know if you can understand me. I'm sorry if I'm overwhelming you, but I need to know." Zane looked as shocked as Kaitlyn. His eyes growing wider by the second.

Kaitlyn winced at the term "momma." In all honestly, she couldn't see where her parents were. Which probably meant they were dead. "Poor child," she whispered. Adjusting the blanket which had slipped off the child when she had shivered. "Was that a good thing?" Zane's voice was filled with concern; he didn't know the child yet he still worried about her. "I don't know, if I had my setup then I might've been able to keep her awake. Unfortunately, that setup has probably been taken by cops and that equipment is real tough to get your hands on." Kaitlyn sighed and sat back down.

Aloe slept, but it wasn't in the coma state she was previously in. This was sleeping, for she was too weak to stay awake for long. Her body was more relaxed, and her breathing steadier.

Kaitlyn looked Aloe over before finally stating what she thought was happening. "I believe she may be out of the coma gaze right now. It is more than likely that she just passed out from exhaustion. Which means that she'll hopefully recover quickly. Though, I still believe she has partial paralysis." Kaitlyn said this in her way that made everything easier to understand. The science behind it all was to much to explain. "We should probably tell Rainbow." Zane said simply and Kaitlyn nodded back at the suggestion.

The six-and-a-half year old girl was deep, deep in sleep. Slowly rising up to the surface of the lake, and not dark, dark down underwater.

"I'll yell at Rainbow from the bottom of the staircase, is that fine?" Zane's voice wasn't hardly as upbeat as usual but still rather happy. "Don't yell, there might be people still asleep. Though I don't know how they could be, it's possible though." Zane rolled his eyes before dragging his feet over to the staircase. "Hey Rainbow? Aloe just kinda woke up and passed out again. Just thought you should know." Zane spoke clearly up the staircase. Quickly shuffling back over to Kaitlyn so if Rainbow wanted to say something they'd have to come down here.

Jason wasn't quite sure why James suddenly seemed so relieved, like there was a great weight lifted off of them. They practically pulled him down the stairs, but Jason wasn't complaining.
Rainbow hurried over to Kaitlyn and Zane, "Really! Please, please, please let her be okay...." they trailed off and trembled a little, but Jason wrapped his arms around them, and Rainbow leaned into him.
