((Oh I hate that.)) Lucien sighed, looking at the creature blankly. Why he hadn't reported it and moved on was beyond the young man's comprehension. Some sort of warm regret held him in the security room, something kept him from running to the button and pressing it. Red clenched his hands and put them to his forehead, elbows on the table. His body language was somewhere between frustration and emotional anguish. |

((me casually chilling while these two experience emotional chaos: This is fine. :>)) ~~~~~ The faint sound of echoing footsteps came from somewhere outside the security room; it sounded like human footsteps, not the nearly soundless steps of a cat this time. The sound ever so slowly grew closer and closer, as if reluctant to move any faster, until the steps paused just around the corner of the door, followed by a shaky sigh. Then, after a brief moment of hesitation, Kage steps in, pausing just within the doorway as he softly knocks on the wall while watching Lucien. "H-Hey.. are you alright...?" He asked softly with a small frown, his face holding an expression like fear or pain, but also worry for the other when he noticed his body language. Slowly, he lifted up the visor to his helmet, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed tightly to hide the fact that his hands were trembling; his eyes were that dark blue again, though he kept blinking as if something got in his eyes and it bothered him. - His gaze lowered until he was looking at the floor in front of his feet, his arms squeezing a bit tighter as he spoke in a strained, shaky voice. "... y-you know, don't you...?" |

"Yes," Came the flat response. Lucien hadn't turned, only vaguely acknowledging the fact that Kage had walked in. He seemed distant, only half there. It was hard to tell where that other half was, seeing as he hid it well. |

Kage wasn't entirely sure what to do now, shivering lightly before he frowned again and stopped leaning against the wall with a mumble. He took a few hesitant steps forward towards where Lucien sat in the chair, before pausing a respectful distance away and slumping down against the wall and sitting on the floor. His posture somewhat imitated Lucien's with his elbows propped up on his knees, his hands balled up as he pressed them to the forehead part of his helmet as he gave a shudder. "...I'm sorry for h-hurting you..." He stammered quietly, though he kept his head down and avoided looking up, but he was trembling a bit now, and he'd flipped his visor down to hide his face again. A strange noise came from him now, almost like a hollow murmuring that had a quiet echo within it (think if Toothless when he makes those sad murmuring noises), and he wraps his arms around his knees as he leans his head back against the wall with closed eyes. |

Red hesitated before standing and sitting down next to Kage. He wasn't sure what to say or really even do. He reached a hand out hesitantly, leaving it to rest on Kage's back. "It's okay," He said, trying to console Kage but not being very successful. The effort was at least there, and he knew that he had been a tad unfair. (Lucien: What the hell are emotions and what do I do with them) |
