Seeing Star despondant the way she was about her family, Evan knew that this was his big chance in getting a little closer to her, but he couldn't push his luck, otherwise he would be burned considerably. He walked to her side and sat down next to her, looking into her eyes. "I wouldn't mind sharing the troubles that you have Star. A pack works together to better those within the pack, right? And besides, if I want to become friends with you, I should help you out with whatever's troubling you." He meant the word mate instead of friend in that sentence, but he wasn't going to push it. "Why don't you ask your father for some training? As far as I can tell, Shade is a strong, healthy pup, regardless of whatever defect he has. Maybe Mikael just needs a bit of a reminder that he also has two daughters as well." He smiled at her before looking out.

Jonah habitually grinned when Dove play bowed to him, so he returned the favor and started wrestling with her. She may have been better in general than Jonah thanks to Em teaching her, however Jonah was beginning to pick up on her mannerisms when it came to her style of wrestling, and soon enough Jonah was on the offensive, even being able to pin down Dove after enough effort. "Looks like I win." He said, licking Dove's face and nipping her ear as a receipt before looking at her, still pinned down. "You're beautiful, you know that Dove?" He asked her, licking her face once again, but it wasn't out of any playful feelings, but instead it was out of emotion and love.

Evan grined at everything Star said to him about him staying in the pack. He joined in on the brief howl before agreeing that they should head back to Dove and Jonah.

Jonah's tail went back and forth quickly as Dove spoke to him, and his eyes lit up with hope and excitement when she finished. "Thank you for having so much trust in me Dove. That means quite a lot." He nuzzled her a bit more until he heard a voice. "What's going on over here?" He heard Evan call out to Jonah. Jonah stopped the pin on Dove before looking at Evan. "Just some play wrestling, and I won." Jonah said, grinning considerably. "Good to hear that you two weren't bored." Evan said, before looking back at Star. "And thanks for this Star. It was fun." He said in a low tone. He knew that he took his first step twoards winning Star's heart, but he had to keep moving to make sure he didn't lose her, and if that meant putting up with everything that pack life game him, then he was going to have to deal with it.

Mikael nuzzled Em to stow her fears for a moment. "It'll be fine. Besides, they're growing up and they need moments like this for them to be independent and act on their own without their parent's assistance." He grinned at her before looking down at Shade, who was lying on his back and pawing at the air. "Plus, we also have this little rascal to take care of." He nuzzled Shade before nuzzling Em once again. "I say we give them a little more time before we head out to look for them."

Meanwhile inside of the Alpha's den Caden and Sonoma were wrestling each other, with Hunter acting as the intermediary in case things got too rough. He looked over at Daria, who was happy as could be that their pups were strong and healthy. Caden hasn't asked any questions as to why he doesn't look like his brother, but I'm sure he'll ask us eventually.

Evan looked at Jonah with a sly smile, and all Jonah could do was look away awkwardly as they began walking with Star and Dove. "You sure the only thing that happened between the two of you was some play wrestling?" Evan pined on, causing Jonah to blush somewhat before nipping at Evan's heels as a receipt. "Don't get any thoughts in your head Evan. All we did was play wrestle, and you still need to focus on Star, last time I checked." Evan's smirk lessened slightly but it didn't disappear. "I think I'm doing fine right now." He picked up the pace to get beside Star. "So Star, what about the west side of the territory makes it dangerous?" He asked, trying to figure out what to expect.
