Evan looked at Hunter with a stern face. He wasn't a fan of being bossed around by others, in fact that was the reason as to why he was never in a pack in the first place, but he would swallow his pride in order to have a shot at becoming mates with Star. "So, I hear that you're a friend of Jonah's when he was a loner as well, and now you want to join the Hearts as well..." Hunter began, letting the words run off his mouth. Evan nodded and Hunter sighed. "Very well. Let's talk about how this pack works, and if you have any questions about anything I say, please ask away."

Jonah nuzzled her in return after she playfully nipped him. "I'm not completely sure, but hopefully he's the one for Star. I hate seeing her miserable like that." He looked at the Alpha's den before looking back at Dove. "You're such a caring wolf Dove. You worry so much for your family, and it just goes to show for me that you would be an excellent mother someday." He licked her as an act of affection. "I'm really glad you convinced me to join the pack so I could know you better Dove. You have such a big heart."

Mikael nuzzled Shade, who began pawing at his face as he was in a playful mood. In a minute's time Shade was climbing all over him, with Mikael laughing and having fun with Shade. Eventually, Mikael was able to pin down Shade with a paw. "Daddy! Not fair!" Shade complained, trying to wiggle his way out. "Fine, fine. But you need to leave Star alone right now, okay? She's not in the mood for playing." Shade seemed slighlty crestfallen about Star not being able to play with him, but he quickly got over it as he jumped at Mikael, with Mikael rolling over and letting Shade have his way with him.

"I know, I know Dove. Having pups is a big task, but I think that if we do have pups, you would be a great mother. Call it a gut feeling." He leaned against Dove, lovingly nuzzling her. "I've been talking to Clay as of late, and he's willing to teach me how to make medicine." He watched Evan walk out of the Alpha's den and began heading towards Star. "Uh oh, he's walking towards Star. Be ready for anything." Jonah nervously watched Evan as he closed the distance with Dove's sister.

Evan left the Alpha's den and quickly found Star and began walking towards her, having a pep in his step as he walked towards her. I don't really care about all of these rules. All I care about is trying to win Star. He slowly walked over and sat down next to Star. What do I talk to her about? After a moinute to think about it, Evan sighed and looked at Star. "So Star, how has Jonah fitted into the pack? When we last met, he was acting like he would stay a loner all his life, so you can imagine my surprise when he foudn me again saying he wants me to join the Hearts." Evan started. It was an awkward way to break the silence but he had to start up a conversaiton with her somehow.

Clay looked up from a mix he was making. "Sure thing Em, what's going on with Shade?" He looked at the pup, who looked perfectly fine from his eyes, but if Em was worried about her pup, she may know something he didn't.

"Loud and clear Dove. Follow the rules and take my time with Star. I understand completely." Evan said, but he knew that he would struggle playing by the rules. I have my work cut out for me. "I do have a bit of a hard time when it comes to following rules, to be truthfully honest, but if I have to follow them to have a chance with Star, I'll do it." Evan smiled before looking at Jonah, who walked over to Dove and began nuzzling her once again. "Wow you are really in love with Dove, aren't you Jonah?" He asked him. Jonah stopped for a moment out of embarrassment, but he nodded at Evan before continuing to nuzzle her. "Any way, I guess I should go to Hunter and see if he has anything for me to do, since I need to prove myself to the pack before she gives me a chance." With that, Evan walked back over to Hunter and asked him for some work to do. "Do you think Evan has a chance with her?" Jonah asked her, playfully licking her.

Evan was slightly surprised with how hostile Star still was towards him. I thought she wanted a mate, but now it's like she can't stand males to begin with. This is going to be harder than I originally thought it would be. Evan shook it off and sat beside his friend Jonah, who was happily sitting beside his love Dove. "So, what do you have in mind for us Dove?" Evan asked her, occasionally taking a glance at Star, hoping that this night would be the first step in winning her over. "Come on... tell us!" Jonah said, nuzzling her excitedly.

Clay looked over Shade, who by now had stayed still so it would be easier for him to give a proper check up. "Hmm..." Clay started as he took one last look at Shade. "I don't see anything immediately wrong..." He stopped when he softly ran his paw across the spine of Shade. Wait a minute... Clay did one more check across the spine of Shade, counting in his head to make sure of something. "Well Em, after checking over your pup, I believe that Shade has an extra vertebrae in his spine. Fortunately, he shouldn't have any problems to him as he grows up, but his body will be a bit longer than normal, however I don't see that as an issue. If you have any more problems just let me know." He smiled before getting back to mixing ingredients together.
