Inferno looked at Alone, worried. Felines depended greatly on their tails for balance. They used their balance to hunt and climb. Though it is possible to have balance without your tail if you practice, but it would take a while.

He said he was okay, but what if he lied to make me feel better? Inferno thought to herself.

Coal shakes his head and crystal said " why is your tail so important " alone said " jaguar has to base their balance on the tail for running jumping and climbing if you broken or got it bit badly you might not be able to do those thing without losing balance "

Inferno sniffed Alone's tail. "Did he bite your tail? If he did we need to get it healed immediatly before it gets infected and causes more damage."

Alone said " no just a nip don't worry about it " which he was petty good with lieing but he really didn't want her to worry

Inferno gave him a doubtious glance, but trusted him, so she nodded. Just then, Phantom ran in with Shine, panting. "We heard what happened. The rest of the pack is still at the Springs, because Cale told them everything was fine and we didn't want to put the pups in danger by moving them. Are you all alright?" Then Shine saw Crystal. "Hello Crystal." He said coldly. "Are you staying here with us?" Inferno stepped in front of Crystal as she saw her open her mouth to reply.

"Yes, she's staying." Inferno said firmly. "And you're going to be kind to her, and give her the respect she deserves. She's an ally, and a packmate, and you're going to treat her like one." Shine hesitated, but then nodded.

Alone growls and walks away crystal didn't say anything before saying "ice bites his tail I know it "as she watches her and shine

Inferno stood up and started to follow Alone. "Crystal, you can eat something and then go lay down in the nursery. I'll handle Alone."

She followed her mate until he stopped, and she caught up to him. "Please." She said softly. "Let me help you."

Alone sighed and said "I know you want to be there is nothing that can be done " as he looks at her then looks down and curls his tail around him

Inferno licked Alone's head and lays her tail on his back. "I'm sorry." She said. "But I'm not going to leave you here suffering silently. At least let me give you something for the pain."
