Mark said "it's not your fault Andrea. You were just protecting the family. I never got used to lock rooms. I should have told you before." He look at her as he was not sure what she was going to do or say. Mark was not wanting to do anything that would upset Andrea. Mark said "I love you so much." Mark was not sure what was going to happen next but he kissed Andrea to help her feel happy. Mark said "you are adorable Andrea." He look at her. |

"It's alright. Hopefully, we won't have to do it again. I've done it too many times in my life that I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again. It's become normal to me, people locking me in rooms," Andrea answered back before being caught off-guard by Mark's kiss. She leaned into it a little before pulling away so he could speak. She heard what he said and smiled a little. Andrea was still worried about Mark though before feeling a tingling in her arm. She looked at the back of her arm and saw a blood streak from being shot when she covered Mark to protect him when they were still in the taxi. The sad part was that they still had hours to go before they landed. |

Mark saw the blood and he said "I wanted to be the one who got injured instead of you." Mark began to take care of her wound as he knew how to take care of wounds. Mark was feeling sad as he wanted to be the one who was injured instead of Andrea. Mark felt sad as he knew that he would never get to be protective of her. Mark rip his shirt as he had removed the bullet from her and he tied the rip piece of his shirt to her after he had cleaned the wound. Mark said "there. You should be good until we go home." |

"I'm sorry, but you're my husband and it's my job to protect you. I know you're upset because you feel like you'll never get to protect me, but you do it all the time. You protect me every day when we go out and when you hurt that German husband who hurt me, or when I fell into the waterfall and hit my head, or when the girls exploded our house or even when we met them for the first time when I had that breakdown before the wedding. You've protected me so many times and I'm thankful for it. I love you because of it, but sometimes I have to protect you too," Andrea explained after she kept wincing from the pain and kept tensing up from when he removed the bullet from her arm and cleaned the wound. Andrea looked at him as she gave him a kiss to let him know that she loves him. |

Mark said "Andrea, I didn't want you to be hurt. But instead you were shot." He felt like he was a worthless husband and he kissed her back. Mark turn to look at the ground as he was feeling like he was a bad guy since he could not keep Andrea safe and he wanted to keep her safe from wounds. Mark sighed softly as he was not sure what was going to happen next as he was waiting for the plane to land in LA as he had tears in his eyes as he was not sure what was going to happen when they did go back to their house. |

"That's the price I was willing to take and I still am," Andrea replied back to Mark after hearing what he said and seeing him turn away from her. Andrea pulled him in for a hug and wiped away his tears with kisses as she wanted him to be happy. "You are not a worthless husband. You're so hard on yourself. I love you so much, Mark," Andrea said to him in a soft tone. Andrea looked at him sadly as she wanted him to feel better. |

Mark said "I love you too." He was still thinking that he was a worthless husband. Mark was not sure what was going to happen next as he was looking at her. Mark said "I feel like a horrible husband. I mean I don't know what else to feel." He was not smiling at all almost like he was blaming himself for her getting hurt. Mark said "maybe I can climb up a tree and hope I don't fall." He was trying to think of ways to cheer himself up. |

"I know. But, you're not. You're an amazing and wonderful husband and I'm glad I have you. What about being thankful that I didn't get shot in the head and died? Don't go hurting yourself to make yourself feel equal. It's not and it'll hurt me because you hurt yourself on purpose. We don't do that. Understand?" Andrea explained to Mark as she was truly worried about his mental health and the fact that he felt so terrible for her getting hurt that he was willing to hurt himself to make it feel equal. Andrea looked at him as her face dropped in actual concern and worry for her husband. Andrea saw he wasn't smiling and knew he was serious. "Mark, do not go hurting yourself to make things seem better. It won't be and it won't only make me sad, but it'll also make me disappointed. I love you and can't have you doing that to yourself. I don't care if you think it's right or not, just don't do it. If you can't do it for yourself, do it for me and the baby. Please? Promise me," Andrea explained more quickly as she wanted him to really get that in his head and she continued to look at him while hugging him tightly. |

Mark said "I am thankful that you are safe but it hurts when I can't even protect you from gun. I feel worthless Andrea. I mean I can't even tell our baby that I can protect you and our baby from a gun shot." Tears filled his eyes and he quickly turned to look away from her as he did not want her to see him crying. Mark said "I feel like I will never be able to protect you like you protect me." He began to wipe his tears away as he did not want her to feel guilty or anything. |

"I know how you feel. I really do. When my friends died in the department store collapse, I spent days digging through the rubble to find them. I feel awful that they were under there instead of me and I wish I could've switched spots. I did find them, but by that time they had died. However, I'm grateful that I'm here to keep their stories alive as I wouldn't be if I was under there. I wouldn't be here today. My point is, sometimes it's better if things happen a certain way because sometimes you wish for one thing but you get another," Andrea explained as she turned him back to her and wiped his tears as she hugged him tightly. "Knowing you, you would've let that bullet kill you and you wouldn't be here and I would be crying like he'll because I lost not only my husband, but my partner and my friend and the father of my baby and I wouldn't be able to change that. You're that stubborn," Andrea mentioned to him. |
