Eilki nods as she steers Autumn towards it, before dismounting. "Nyx! Scout!" The wolfdog bounds off, before returning a few mere minutes later, tongue out while her ears and expression were relaxed. Eilki nods, that meant that the area was safe. At least for now. Eilki glances at Kyle before untacking Autumn, allowing her to have free rein. Autumn had been trained to not stray far from her owner. Eilki sets the tack down correctly before rummaging through her bag. First a fire, then start dinner. While dinner was cooking, then she would work on her injured shoulder.

Kyle glances around as they came close toward the area, he started to feel on edge but that was maybe from the earlier attack. He isn't sure that he will be able to sleep later. He looks to Nyx as she returns from the scout, he felt somewhat better knowing that its safe. He climbs down from Liberty, untacking her and petting her side "Go on" he says quietly. He knew she wouldn't go far anyway. Kyle collects some stick, helping to build the fire and he sits down by it wanting to get himself warm. At least now he could relax or he hoped so anyway.

Once the fire was on, Eilki goes to start dinner, but pain flashes through the wound. So Eilki relents, retreating to her saddlebags to bring out some medicine. Before sitting down, ripping at the fabric at the shoulder. Tearing it away and revealing a bloody shoulder, thankfully it didn't look too bad. Eilki sighs to herself before finding a water bottle, dumping some of it on a rag and the princess begins to clean the wound. Nyx trotting around the air, before finally settling down beside Eilki. Autumn a few feet away grazing happily.

Kyle glances to Eilki seeing that she is in pain, he tilted his head worried for her "Do you need me to help you?" He asks quietly. He knew she would probably say no anyway but he wanted to offer the help. He still felt bad that she got hurt, he's sure if the king knew about this he would have his head. Kyle kept his gaze on Eilki and even moved closer toward her. He watched her as she tendered to her wound. He honestly needed to do a better job at keeping her safe, maybe jump into the danger first but sometimes these things are avoidable.

(No problem! It's understandable! Holidays are always hectic!)

Eilki's gaze flashes up, hesitating at Kyle's question. Did she need help? Yes, she couldn't clean the whole wound and she wouldn't be able to wrap it herself. Eilki sighs quietly,"Yes please, I would like some help." Nyx lifts her head as she stares at the fire, before laying her head back down, closing her eyes. Eilki tips her head as she studies Kyle, he looked gulity. As if the attack had been his fault. The princess' mind swiftly flashes back to Drura and her favorite brother, Iscuri the secondest eldest royal child. Alongside his twin, Alephro. Iscuri would often worry for his sister, Eilki, much like Kyle was doing at the moment.
