AJ looked over at Damien with a firm nod, “Alright, we’ll go there.” He noticed that Damien wasn’t smiling so his face was a neutral look. He noticed that Damien was entirely comfortable being around him and to be honest, he wasn’t either. He took a deep breath and walked over to the place Damien mentioned, once he arrived they got a table. He didn’t know what to say so he just stared at the menu. He looked around and saw a burger that looked good. “So, what do you normally get here?” He placed the menu down and looked at Damien, slightly uncomfortable in his seat so he shifted a bit.

Damien nodded quickly in reply,he walked along with AJ. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket but wasn't going to check it knowing it would be Jax. He couldn't risk anyone seeing Jax talking about his job so left it for now. They soon arrived at the shop and sat down at a table. Damien cast a glance around before turning his attention to AJ,he didn't know exactly what to say to him. He was normally quiet around people he didn't know and sometimes even people he was close to so Damien did what he always did in those situations, observe people and their body language. He looked at AJ but there wasn't much to observe. "I normally just get like a kebab" Damien shrugged,he didn't need to look at the menu so refocused on AJ. He wondered what he thought about him and Jason.

AJ nodded a bit, “Ah, I don’t know what kebab is but ok.” He smiled as he ordered the burger he wanted and some fries along with coke. He looked over at Damien, “So, I just realized. You’re Walish?” He had never met someone who was from the UK, let alone he’s never seen a Walish person before. He seemed interested, but why did Jason have interest in a person who was Walish? AJ definitely questioned that, but he didn’t say anything. He passed on the menu and looked around the place, waiting for Damien to respond. But it did give him some time to think too so he didn’t mind. The place was quiet which AJ liked. (I have no idea if ‘Walish’ is the correct term for someone who lives in Whales. I also have no clue where Whales is. I also don’t know what ‘kebab’ is soooo)

(Wales is just a country in the UK and tbh just called Welsh . Oh right tbh I have no idea what to describe them xD) Damien raised his eyes quickly before shaking off the feeling and ordering. He ordered what he did all the time,Kebab and fries. He realised he hadn't been in the shop for quite a while so it was nice to be back. Well,it did remind him of what he was like before but Damien didn't really think he missed that. "Yeah, that's where the accent comes from" he spoke "But yeah I grew up in Wales until I was 18,it's a nice place but I always wanted to come to America" he spoke. Damien always liked to tell people about where he was from so didn't mind telling AJ.

AJ seemed unsure at first, he didn’t know what to think. Jason didn’t seem to be the type of guy to date someone who’s not American. “Well, America is amazing. Except of course a few political problems and the Justice system. Not everyone agrees on it, plus people are always saying that the Justice system is different depending on your race, rap sheet, background history, stuff like that. You know, I don’t know a single person who isn’t American and works for the government. Crazy right? I mean I’m sure you have no interest in working for them.” He did get a little carried away but he didn’t care, although he was starving so half of his mind was on food. He couldn’t help but wonder, out of all the other countries, Jason just had to choose someone Welsh. (Oh my bad)

Damien listened to what AJ said about America. He didn't really know why he had wanted to move there in the first place but it did seem like a cool country. Damien had wanted to live in America since he was young so he just did when he could. He shook his head a little in reply "Yeah government jobs never really appealed to me" Damien studied AJ's face,he wasn't sure whether he knew that he was a criminal or not. Damien went the opposite way of a government job,he laughed quietly,it was quite funny to think about.Damien noticed AJ seemed a little unsure about him talking about Wales,he wondered what he thought about it. He did have a strong welsh accent still so he guessed it could be that.

AJ nodded, “Nice to know.” He chuckled as he looked around the place again, it was a cool little place in the city but AJ didn’t expect them to have the world's best meals. He sat there silently as he stared at Damien but he caught himself, “Sorry.” He looked down at his hands and patiently sat there for his food to come out. After a few minutes, the food was finally there. “Looks good.” He looked up and smiled before biting into the burger. It was good he had to admit but he had tasted better. He dipped it in BBQ sauce, some of the best sauces ever in his opinion. He ate all his fries and surprisingly was still hungry.

Damien followed AJ's gaze around the building and glanced back at him still wondering what he was thinking. He was unsure why he had actually agreed to go with AJ,well he remembered it was because of Jason and Anna but Damien didn't know what was better. Damien looked up to see AJ staring at him and shifted in his seat uncomfortably. He was glad the food came soon,it gave him something to do and not having to constantly think about what to say. Damien nodded at what AJ said before eating his own meal. It was definitely good to feel some familiarity when he was in the building and the meal tasted just as he had always remembered, which wasn't a bad thing. Damien glanced back up at AJ "Should we get the others something?" He asked clearly now thinking about Jason.

AJ was enjoying his food, although it wasn’t the best. He looked up at Damien, still unsure why he even asked Damien to get some food with him. He shook off the thought and shook his head, “Yeah right. I’ll get something for Jason but Anna? She can get her ass down here and get her own food. Plus she’s picky and I don’t feel like dealing with her arguing right now.” He smiled as he stared down at his plate, he thought about what to get for Jason. He ordered a burger with cheese and mayo. Pretty plain but Jason liked it that way, after a few seconds he ordered some fries for Isaiah. A few minutes had passed, and the food finally arrived, then the check came. “Oh you can just put it on one!” The waitress nodded and took his card. AJ wasn’t entirely rich but he did get paid well. After that AJ got up and started walking over to the hospital, he didn’t say a single word to Damien.

Damien ate more of his kebab, glancing at AJ warily every so often. It was obvious he wasn't entirely comfortable around him and he wondered what AJ thought about him and being with AJ. Damien hoped he wasn't going to see it as a competition because he didn't think he would want to get involved in that. He liked Jason and would do anything for him but a competition was not something he liked...wait Damien shook his head,he just admitted to himself that he would do anything for Jason. The thought kinda shocked him and he bit his lip thinking about it. Damien nodded at what AJ said, his voice had knocked him out of his thoughts. "Fair enough" he spoke although he did admit that what AJ said about Anna was kinda funny. He listened to AJ order and pay before following him out the building and towards the hospital. Damien was glad that neither said a word and enjoyed the silence.
