" Mikael.. come over here for a sec. I wanna talk to you" Em said stepping away from the group before talking to him " hun... she will come round... just prove to her you wont harm her. Go places with her. Shes young and going through stages. I was like that when I was her age. " she chuckled " go talk to her after the meal. I wann ahelp with Hunter and the rest around the camp."

She nuzzled him before going back t the meal, her eyes on Star ever so often.

Mikael nodded and he walked over to Star after she finished eating, eyeing him as he approached. "What do you want?" She asked him, letting the last word escape with a snarl added to it. "I want to talk to you Star. I really want to understand why you don't want me as your father and you don't want me to be with Em." Star got up and growled at him. "Em doesn't deserve to be with a male like you! You're no Alpha..." Mikael let the remark roll off his back with ease. "You're right Star, I'm not an Alpha, but do you yourself know why Em picked me?"

" No I dont." Star said calming down " I would be happy to hear why though" I want to know him... but im just scared she thought looking at him " I have male issues. Thats why..."

Mikael nodded his head and waited for her to finish before he spoke. "I'm sure Em can get into more detail as to why, but to put it simply, Em decided that Lilac didn't have yours and Dove's best interests in his heart and decided that he wasn't treating you and Dove kind enough, so that's why she left him. She wants nothing more than to protect you and your sister, and she chose me because she believes that I can be a good father for her two daughters. I feel honored for her to trust me with something like that, and even though I'm not an Alpha, it won't make me any less of a dad for you and Dove. I know you don't trust me right now, and that's fine, but please; all I ask for is a chance to earn your trust." Mikael finished, taking in a breath before looking at Star, awaiting a response.

Star looked at him longingly " Ok fine.. I'll give it a shot. But no promises on anything"

Em walked over to the an hour later " I see you are getting along now,eh?" she said nuzzling Mikael. But then, Dove came runnung and jumped on Mikaels back " daddy" she said nipping his ear. " Coe play with me..."

Em chuckled " you guys go on ahead. I have something I need to do for Hunter." she nuzzled each of them before getting things cleaned, took care of the other pups for a short time as well. " Hunter... Looks like Star is finally warming up a little bit. Maybe hanging out with Mikayla's pups really softened her heart"

Mikael chuckled and walked over to a clear area with Dove on his back. "If you want to play, you have to get off." He said to her. She slipped off his back and they began to play with each other, with Hunter looking on. "Looks like Star is finally warming up a little bit. Maybe hanging out with Makayla's pups did the trick." Em said, watching Dove jump on Mikael and taking him down to the ground, while Star looked on, still harboring distrust towards Mikael, but they weren't as strong a feeling as they were before. "That's good to hear Em. Give her some time; I'm sure she'll warm up to the idea eventually." Daria ran over and whispered something into Hunter's ear, and his eyed widened slightly. "Really? Is that so?" He turned to Em. "I'll be gone for some time. Daria found a loner in our territory and she wants to join our pack, so Clay will be in charge until I get back." Hunter left with Daria, telling Clay what happened as he walked away. Clay nodded and he watched Hunter and Daria leave. Em walked over to Star and sat down beside her and watched Mikael and Dove continue to play wrestle, with Dove slowly getting more tired as they continued.

another female? Em thought as she nodded towards Hunter " Be careful Alpha" she them chuckled as she looked at Dove and Mikael " go join in the fun, Stardust.. it will be good for you to get used to him" Em said nuzzling her to go.

" But mother.. I dont want to." Star said ears back

" Star.. it will be fine. He wont do anything to you other than wanting to have a little fun. Just go and try"

Dove in the mean time pinned Mikael multiple times then looked at star, who was slowly walking over to them

" Come play sis..." Dove said

Stardust chuckled " you asked for it, Dove"

Stardust jumped on Dove, knocking her off of Mikael and freeing him from Dove's pin. Mikael got up and saw Stardust and Fove wrestle each other for a solid minute before Star pinned her sister, thanks to Star having more energy than Dove. "Easy." Star confidently said, pinning Dove down with a paw. "Not fair! I was too busy wrestling with daddy for it to be a fair fight!" Dove countered, not having the stamina to free herself. Star looked over at Mikael, who was watching them. His eyes widened slightly as they looked at each other. "Oh, you want to take me on now Star?" Mikael said, play bowing to her to show that he was more than ready.

Star smirked " oh you bet" she said running at him and then jusmed onto his back. Growls and snarls protruded from hrer throat as she pinned him every other attack. she knew she couldnt win every time. She also let Dove in on the fun every so often. But it was just to get used to Mikael. " You fight well" she said with a chuckle at Mikael

Mikael tried with all of his might, but he wasn't good enough to beat the numbers game, as soon enough both of Em's daughters pinned him down. Mikael could feel Dove scramble on top of him to proclaim herself victorious, only for Star to knock her off and they had their own scrum. He got up only for the girls to remember and pin him once again. Yep, they're Em's daughters, alright. Beside from being pinned down constantly, he was having fun with them, and what made it even better was that Star seemed like she was having fun as well, so it was worth the effort.
