When they reach the Northern forest, he stopped and looked at her " I wanted to ask you something. " he paused before stepping towards her. " Will you bare my pups? I know its too early to ask, but I couldnt wait any longer." |

He was suprised att his, but didnt say anything. This would be the first time the Alpha broke the wolf tradition of baring wolf pups. Now they would have both wolf and dog mix. He gently licked her face before walking on. A view only seen by special members of the wolf family. And now he allowed his new mate, Mayhem see it too. " I wont rush you into anything though, Mayhem. I want you to tell me when you are ready, since winter is only half way through. Our old tradition broke the moment I chose you ad my mate." he looked at her as he spoke. |

Mayhem playfully nipped at him. "Okay." She smiled. "Its always nice to try something new, even with old traditions." The dog them jumped into the deeper snow, jumping to keep up. |

River was happy that she accpeted. " These were old old traditions, my dear. In fact... four generations ago. " he chuckled at how playfull she was. " come on.. head back to the group and we can plan an puting during the Spring season." He helped her through the deep snow and back tot he pack. " Why dont you meet me in the Alpha den, dear? Ill be with you shortly. I have to talk to Ash about something" he nipped her back before going to find Ash. |

" Ash, come here" River said " What is it, Sir?" Ash asked once he reached his Alpha " Im planning to leave in the Spring with Mayhem for a while. I want you to be in charge while she and I are done. Can you handle everything?" " Yes sir. " he said " I will do my best" " Good. You are excused." he ordered before walking into his den where it was warm. He spotted Mayhem and wslowly walked to her. |
