Mayhem was fast asleep. She whined and kicked in her sleep, possibly having a nightmare.

River felt the kick and whined. He woke up looking at Mayhem. He licked her short fur letting her know he was right there beside her. " Im not leaving you, love. Thats a promise." He laid his head on her back and waited for daybreak.

Mayhem calmed down, realizing everything was okay. She rolled over, and woke up, staring out into the dark.

When she woke, he was outside making orders to the tohers, when he saw him " my Queen." he teased with a wag of his tail

Aries walked up to Mayhem " I think he has a suprise for you." he chuckled walking past her.

Mayhem was still waking up, so she responded with a yawn. She stretched out, and got to her paws.

shes really tired today. I might have to wake her up a tad he thought as he faced her and ran towards her. He leapt up and landed on her as gently as possible without hurting her. nuzzling her stomach. " How's my Queen doing this morning?"

The dog seemed suprised, and her eyes opened wide when she was landed on top of of. Mayhem huffed.

River coughed before getting of oher, his head down " Im sorry... I should have. Just happy to see you is all. Do you want to go for a stroll with me or want to eat first?" There was a doe already out in the open " And now that you are the Alpha female... you get to eat with me first before the others."

"Its okay. I'm not hungry right now," Mayhem hops back up. "A walk sounds good!"

( I hope I didnt have him as about the bareing his own children yet... did I?)

" Well in that case.. come on.. I want to talk to you about something" he led her away fromt he group and led her tot he Northern part of the forest.
