She went along with the check-up, wincing occasionally before she began asking if she could leave, as she figured she would handle it in her own.

Lucas looked at her and sighed. "I'm guessing you want to leave the hospital to go rest on your own home?" He asked before he stood up and saw the doctors back up before looking at the girl and nodding slowly. Lucas looked at her before walking over to the door. "If you want to leave, don't make me wait outside." He said and opened the door and walked out to the outside doors and waited for her to go outside.

She nodded and pushed herself up. She made sure her mask was in place and that she had everything she needed as she stiffly walked outside. *Im here I'm here, don't explode on me, okay?* She said as she looked over at him.

Lucas looked at her and walked over to her, giving her a hug. "I won't." He said, "I'm just worried about you. You were hurt so badly!" He shook his head as he let her go. "Why would you do that?" He asked her with his voice quivering slightly from the pain on his back.

She widened her eyes in surprise before she hugged him back, leaning against him. *Y-you don't have to be so worried, really.* As he pulled back, she looked up into his eyes, *Youre so concerned, I-I've never even seen you like this. Look, he snuck up on me, okay?*

Lucas gave her a little smile before he pulled her close again. "But I am worried." He said as his voice sounded pained. "I know you haven't, but after today? I-.." he paused, breathing a shallow breath, "if he does it again, try to hurt you again, tell me. Please." He told her as he tightened his grip around her to gently squeeze her.

She wrapped her arms around him and said gently, *Its okay, it's okay. Just breathe.* She gently tried to rub his back as he squeezed her and said, *I can handle him again, don't worry. If I can catch him straight ahead he'll regret it.*

Lucas looked at her, relaxed a little before he placed his head against her shoulder. She was so much smaller than he was not that he held her close. Her small form fit so easily in his grip when he held her close. He mumbled something into her shoulder before he looked at her again. "Are you sure you can handle it, little hero?"

She relaxed against him, closing her eyes. For once, she especially felt safe and comfortable when being held close by him. As she felt his gaze, she opened her eyes and looked back up at him. *Im sure. This is something I'm used to. Typical hero work.* She chuckled softly.

Lucas blushed a little when she looked at him and laughed a little. "Yes, but you should also make sure that you're fine and not in danger." He said before he leaned his head to be against hers and sighed. "You hero's are just like us.." He whispered to himself.
