O'Gally, blanking on anything else to say, stuck her tongue out at Carwen, "Oh pooh. You are so boring. I wouldn't go after the treasure you and Capt'n Magdalene are going after. I do not have that much of death wish." The other pirate captain grinned impishly, and as the two carried on their conversation, Magdalene climbed up to stand beside Northcliff, who was at the wheel, "What if you just... drove off?" She suggested with a shrug, "We've lost enough time already. I don't know those two, but I'd also rather leave before they really anger one another, and then we have to deal with a battle." Magdalene said it all causally. She didn't really care one way or another. She was always up for a fight, but didn't want to loose too much time either. Magdalene would let Northcliff make this decision, so she leaned against the railing and began to pick the dirt out from under her nails with her smallest knife.

Northcliff sighed, a hand resting on the wheel as his crew darted around like scared mice. He looked rather exasperated, his normal stoic expression stormy. "That's actually the plan, but everyone is goin' a bit slower than normal trying to avoid the pissed off pixie and watching the drama. She isn't normally this unreasonable, but something about her ex flings always gets her riled up." Northcliff finished just as a crewmate scurried up to him, eyeing Magdalene fearfully before whispering in his quartermaster's ear before darting off. "Now, we can leave." And with that, the ship was off. Carwen was coming up with something to say when the boat began to move. She glared back at Northcliff, who rolled his eyes, before turning back to O'Gally. "You've wasted enough of our time O'Gally, and if you keep up that behavior then I'll grant your wish." And as the ship took off, Carwen flipped O'Gally off with a wide smile.

The last thing Carwen's ship and crew could make out from O'Gally was her spluttering of curses. O'Gally was known for having one of the foulest pirate mouths, and there were many who winced at the filth coming from her mouth. "Glad their pissing contest is over," Magdalene remarked lightly, pushing off of the railing, and tucking her knife away. She dipped her hat to Northcliff briefly as she headed towards the stairs, "I am grateful for your levelheadedness, Sir. I trust you to steer the ship well." Magdalene didn't waste another breath, and headed down to the main deck. She really didn't feel like bothering with Carwen at the moment, and since there were some empty hands on deck, Magdalene took it upon herself to find them jobs.

Northcliff nodded back to Magdalene before focusing back on his task, Carwen meanwhile, conversed with a few members of her crew. Although she still seemed a little fired up, already she was calming. This meant that her crew was also calming down too. A slightly pissed off Carwen was easier to deal with than I'm gonna jump off this fucking ship and strangle someone Carwen. By the time she'd finished checking in with the crew, making sure everyone was well rested and such, she was completely calm again.

Bruh we can't skip the damn drowning scene. Hm, okay what if we have one, singular scene where the duo bond a bit over sailing or whatever and Carwen apologizes for being an idiot, and then, ya know, drowning scene? That's my only idea so it's either that or I cry :D
