Wren nodded. "I understand." She said her voice genuine, she grabbed a wooden chair that had been leaning against the wall and put it in front of her, sitting backwards on it. "However, I do know the basics of how you got it, if you're in the mood for a history lesson?" Wren added.

Broken turned the motorcycle into the hospital parklot, and rolled it into a spot with ease, revving the engine before she shut it off and took off her helmet.

"I told you I wouldn't" She said, smirking back as she propped up the motorcycle and tucked the helmet under her arm.

"I started researching how people like us came to, and at first, I couldn't find anything, everything just came up blank" Wren started. "So I started looking at old newspapers and ads, propaganda and hacking into goverment and scientific data bases, looking for literally anything. For a while, I could still find nothing, however, a few centuries ago, there was a 5-year span in which there was a huge science experiment you could volunteer to help. At first, it seemed like another fake and hopeless attempt, a genetic manipulation that promised super powers. Hundreds upon hundreds of people went in, giving the specific power they wanted, and the scientist and doctors would find a way to do it. They signed a waver giving up all liabilities and refunds and such, basically you had no protection if you signed up. A lot of people died during procedures, or the genetic manipulation would cause death anywhere from 2 hours to 70 years after the fact. However, a little over a hundred people survived, though none of them had super powers, as promised. These people went on, got married, had children, those children had children, and so on and so forth." Wren continued excitedly. "However, no one knew, that at least half the children on produced had the recessive trait that would theoretically allow said super powers. So the number of people with the recessive trait did multiply to probably over 500 now, as people did tend to have multiple kids. Now, a couple of generations, your parents generation and the generations around that timeframe, well those with the recessive trait, didn't know that it was seeping its way into more DNA, not enough for them themselves to gain abilities, but enough that when they had children, most of them had powers, not all, but most." Wren finished. "Thats how power bearers came to be, supernatural seem to have been around since, well the beginning of time, but the story of power bearers is much more interesting in my opinion." Wren said with a shrug.

"Oooooh" Broken said, "Lollipop" She added in an alien voice just for the fun of it, but burst out laughing.

"Mmmm" Broken paused as if trying to make a decision. "Watch me" She finally decided before she broke into a run towards the hospital doors. "Lollipop!" She yelled in her alien voice.
