Mark said "let's go to the hospital. I will call Lawrence and have him come check on Bruce." Mark did not have the training to handle early pains like this and he was more worried about her and their babies. Mark said "I know you don't like hospitals due to what happened last night but I think it's safe if we went there since I don't have the training for this." He was worried that she would hit him or something. Mark was hoping that everything would be okay and he was worried that the twins would die but he had to pretend to be fine as he knew it would be harder for Andrea. |

"Okay, let's go," Andrea said as she went into the twin's room and grabbed their bag after putting on some comfortable clothes. She knew that they had to go to the hospital as it was their best chance for the babies. Andrea was afraid that the twins were going to die and knew that Mark would be just as upset as she would be and be okay with him being upset and showing it as she knows what pain feels like. Andrea got into the car and they drove to the hospital. Andrea continued to groan out loud in pain as she was in a lot of pain and when they got there a nurse and doctor helped them to a room and kept checking on Andrea and the twins. One was already gone but she still had to deliver both of them. Andrea was so distraught from the news and the nurse and doctor left to give them a little bit of time before they came in again to check on them. |

Mark was heartbroken when he heard that one of the twins was gone and he quietly blamed himself for what had happened. Mark was just hoping that the other twin would stay alive but his hope was fading as he felt responsible for everything bad that was going wrong. Mark knew that he would do anything to keep Andrea from going into depression as he had learned that people who loose babies could go into depression and Mark was wanting to keep Andrea a little hopeful and happy so he began to think of getting her a German Shepherd dog before her birthday. |

The doctor and the nurse came back in and explained how they have to do an emergency C-section in order to try and save the other baby as the baby's heartbeat was going down fast. Andrea nodded and held onto Mark's hand as they put a blind between them and the bottom of her stomach so they couldn't see all the nasty stuff. Andrea was scared as the did the C-section and she never felt anything since they gave her a local anesthesia. They got the babies out but neither of them were crying. As the doctor finished sewing Andrea up, the nurse continued to try and get both of them to try and breath and save them, but it was too late. The doctor uncovered Andrea and gave them the news that both were gone. "Can I at least hold them?" Andrea asked as she started crying. The nurse nodded and had wrapped them up in little blankets and gave them to Andrea. Andrea smiled the slightest as she looked at them. The doctor explained how it wasn't Andrea and Mark's fault for what happened and sometimes things happen, even if you do everything perfectly. The doctor then left as the nurse stayed as she was going to take their babies for them when they were ready, but Andrea wasn't ready. She continued to hold their lifeless bodies as she didn't want to leave them. Andrea continued to cry as they had lost both of their children. |

Mark felt his heart breaking and he decided that Andrea needed someone to help with the lost of their twins. Mark could feel his heart breaking but he kept blaming himself as he did feel responsible for what happened to their twins. Mark didn't want to tell the kids yet as he wished that the twins would have survived. Mark saw them and he began to fight back tears as he was trying to be strong for Andrea. Mark went to her side and he whispered "hey babies. I am sorry." He look at them as he felt horrible and he decided that he needed to do it for Andrea. |

Andrea heard Mark and looked up at him in tears. The nurse came over to Andrea's other side and said that it was time to let them go. Andrea didn't want to and struggled to let them go, but she knew she had to and the nurse took them away after Andrea let them go. She sat up as she cried as she was heartbroken over the loss and was struggling to stay happy in the moment. "I'm so sorry, Mark. It's all my fault. I should've been more careful and done everything by the book. I killed them," Andrea said to Mark as she looked at him while she continued to cry. |

Mark hugged Andrea and he said "I am sorry. It's not your fault. It's my fault. I should have been a better father." Mark felt it was all of his fault. Mark added "it's not your fault. It's all my fault." He look at her as he was feeling like it was his fault and he did not blame her. Mark ask "would this be a bad time to get you the surprise that I have?" Mark look at her as he was not sure if she would like the surprise. Mark was feeling guilty for everything. |

"It's not your fault. You were the best father and husband anybody could ask for. I want to go home. But no, this isn't a bad time for the surprise you wanted to give me," Andrea answered. She totally forgot that today was her birthday too as she was so focused on the twins and making sure they lived but they didn't and she was still very depressed by it. Andrea got up and got dressed as she wanted to go home as she didn't want to stay in the hospital any longer. Andrea went to Mark and gave him a tight hug. |

Mark hugged her back and he took her to the SUV. Mark said "this is from our kids." He went to the other side of the SUV where someone had a German Shepherd dog that was for Andrea. Mark returned to where Andrea was and he said "surprise." He was hoping that this would bring some happiness to Andrea. Mark was feeling worried about what she was going to do next. Mark was not sure what was going to happen next as he was going to stay with her. Mark was looking at Andrea as he was feeling nervous about her surprise gift. |

Andrea was sad as she walked to the SUV with Mark but she got to the SUV and saw Mark show her the surprise. Andrea's face lit up as she saw the dog and went over to pet it. "Hi buddy," Andrea said before tearing up again as she started to cry again. Andrea was happy about the dog and she told Mark that and thanked him for the gift. She then gave him another hug. "Can we just stay in bed and cuddle all day tomorrow?" Andrea asked as she got into the SUV and they drove home to the house. |
