Hondo

"I think we should stay outside for a bit." Hondo told John, peering into the den. "Give them some space, they are both exhausted." He said then looking around. "Lets go get some sort of food." He then said trottung towards the woods.

Johm peered into the den. "We are getting some food for everyone." He said. "Will be back in a few." Then turned and trotted after Hondo.

Meadow lifted her head with as John spoke. "Alright, bye." She then layed her head back down and closed her eyes. She yawned before moving a bit. That made her pups cry a bit but the soon stopped luckily.

Anne watched as her brother left. "They are such good mates," she said with a smile before getting confortable again. "Yes they are," Meadow said with a yawn. Anne's pups surprizingly didnt cry as she shifted a bit to get confortable. Anne then yawned herself before closing her eyes.

Hondo

Hondo walked and waited for John to catch up. Then he trotted towards the rabbit Warren. Nothing. He traveled a bit farther looking for any sign of prey.

After traveling for a bit he started to get nervous. "Maybe there could be some Elk or rabbits this way." He pointed with his nose. But Hondo ignored him. "I think we might be too close to the wolf pack." He said nervously.

The two females just countinued to sleep as their mates hunted.

Hondo

Hondo kept going, white tailed deer scents hung in the air. He kept on. Soon he saw their browned pelts, their white tail pointed in the air. Hondo chased after it. It was very slow compared to Elk, but it would make a nice meal. He easily outpaced it and crushed its neck in one bite.

John

Even though too kate fir the kill he came alongside Hondo. "This would be a nice meal." He said, ears and nise alert for any other wolves. He picked up the carcass and he and Hondo started half carrying half dragging the deer.

Hondo and John

They dragged the deer back into the den. Their mates were asleep, with their pups at their sides. They ripped off a hind leg for both of themselves and dragged the rest towards the ladies. They went and laid beside their mates and started to eat.
