Noswaith kept her deaf audit pinned allowing her good one to rotate upon her cranium. Her optics glowing faintly in the shadows, as nothing stirred. Noswaith allowed her body to relax to enjoy these moments however short lived they where. The soft sound of a bird called announcing the first rays of sunshine that peeked over the earth.

Growling softly she turned around and picked up a steady trot. Her muscles rippling as she moved back towards camp. Noswaith snarled when her limb caught the knarled end of a root that was trying to reach up out of the earth. The motion giving her enough momemtum to collide roughly with the earth.

Chin and muzzle planted in the dirt made for a not so pleasent start to the day as she hauled herself up and limped back into camp. Her eyes staying gaurded and emotionless as she dipped into her den. Such an act was stupid as she leaned down and started to groom herself clean of debrie. Her eyes then scanning her leg and giving her claws a flex. Grimacing she summed it up to a mild sprain and moved to sit outside her den. Awaiting the orders as she forced her mimd to reflect upon the mornings earlier peace thus relaxing her mood further.

Larkspur || Mountain Pack Member || M: Clovis, Fleur, Rocky

The mottled female had grown tired of solitude and now made her way through the camp, paws touching down lightly with each step as if she were worried to disturb the dirt beneath her. She curled her tail slightly and swept her gaze around the camp, finally landing on a trio. Well, she hadn't much acquainted herself with any of these wolves since joining; Larkspur had always been one to keep to herself unless work or duty required interaction.

But that could always change, and what better day to start than the one she was living currently? With a small shrug, mostly to push off her doubts, she approached Clovis, Fleur, and Rocky. Clearing her throat gently, she questioned, "Do you mind if I join you all?"

Rocky she had observed regularly; usually, he didn't appear this nervous. Larkspur suspected that either Fleur or Clovis -- oh, no, it was definitely the latter, with his eyes on her like that -- held his attentions. She found others' romances slightly amusing, as she had never really made the time to even think of one for herself. Ah, well. That could happen in a couple years.

Natan (and kinda Chinook) || Nomadic Member(s) || M: Chinook, Flame, Alder, Anika, Tavarious

The young male had begun to wander over to the site of the slowly increasing number of wolves congregated around Anika, and it appeared that he had reached them just in time. Chinook had already stationed himself in front of the alpha and was nodding at her first words; Natan didn't quite catch them. Her next words regarded patrols, and he was able to arrive in time for those. It appeared he would be going with Flame today.

They would be looking for a profitable hunting ground. Scouting. Natan was fine with that; he needed a walk anyway, and Flame would make for company. Well, he knew the red she-wolf was not social and would probably dislike his company, so he would be the silent shadow. The young wolf had grown quite comfortable with playing that part in the pack. He felt as though he were one of the few without strong ambitions to fill a leadership role, and, as such, his duty was to make sure there was not a buildup of tension during patrols and the like.

Basically, he was the voice of reason rather than another authoritative figure to compete with. And, again, he had no issue with it. Natan noticed Chinook's gaze flash briefly to Alder and the male blinked at the other -- some sort of acknowledgement -- before returning his gaze to the alpha; Natan followed suit.

"It's all fine by me," the young male offered. Chinook glanced over briefly and then added his consent to the plan. Natan then turned his gaze to Flame with a slight wag of his tail. Ah, something to do. Now he just needed to focus on not being seen. With his pelt, he blended in rather well, and he doubted there would be many pack wolves out and about, but there was always a chance. He didn't want to take that chance.

Sylphrena || Nomadic Member || M: Everyone

Syl's orange eyes were bleary with sleep as she dragged herself to unsteady paws. A wave of sparks crossed her vision and she had to brace herself through the oncoming lightheadedness until it had passed several seconds later. There was no reason for her to have not slept well; she hadn't been too hot or too cold, the winds had not touched her, and there had been no nightly noises, really. Still, the young female had barely slept at all, and now it was going to come back to bite her in the flank.

She shook the grass and dirt from her pelt and trudged out into the light, occasionally pausing to paw at her eyes. Soon enough, they cleared, and a spike of alarm woke her right up as she noticed much of the pack gathered around Anika. She loped over, then, paws tapping the ground lightly until she slowed to a stop just outside the gathered ring.

Syl dared not butt in just then; she would rather wait until after questions or concerns had been raised to ask the alpha to repeat herself. So, she sat down and cast her eyes around on the others, twitching an ear, a tail tip, and otherwise remaining stationary.
