Solomon "Saul" Hale // Male // 23 // Ravik Werewolf // M: Faelin, Jaedyn, Corrie (dir.) / Ikaris, Addie (ind.) / Open --- "I wouldn't miss food for the world," he replied to the pack-member who offered him a plate of breakfast. "I'd rather be eating than starving, but it smells absolutely lovely, by the way." Saul leaned back in one of the chairs nearby the counter where Faelin had been cooking. His sapphire eyes drew over toward the plate where he had set up other options for a good solid breakfast. But he was rather content with just the plate he had been given. His hand paused briefly as the clattering rough noise of someone entering the pack house "blessed" his ears. That was a rather loud clatter and for a moment, Saul was almost worried that someone was injured. But as the other man came in, the noise and outfit matched volumes and a quick scan of him gave Saul the notion that he was not injured in any way. Not yet. His plan for the day was undoubtedly going to end him up in the medical wing of the house in less time than Saul could spend learning how to ride one of those. He shook his head lightly, uncertain and more worried than before. "Well, I do have plans," he finally revealed, "and they're not quite inline with yours yet. I need to get some supplies for the medical closet. It sounds like I'll need to get double the gauze and bandaging," he added with a cheeky smile toward the other member of the pack. His gaze turned as the next member of the pack entered the kitchen and he gestured to the plate on the counter. He made a sort of 'help yourself' gesture toward the plates on the counter and finished with his own plate. A small part of him was almost certain that Ikaris was likely out late and had been engaging in starting another fight. One that he would likely win but not well. Thus his reason for getting more medical supplies. The pharmacy was well acquainted with him by now. It was no surprise when he walked in those doors. "I ought to get going soon so that I can be back before anything goes down. I know Addie is here but I feel better knowing what's going on," Saul set his plate down and stood up, gathering his own jacket. "See y'all later," he called out as he exited the front door and began the long walk toward the downtown. Where the pharmacies always were.

Lucian Layn Blackwood ⟩⟩ Lucy/BK ⟩⟩ Male ⟩⟩ 25 ⟩⟩ Vampire ⟩⟩> Mentions: Samael (Indir.) Driver (NPC, Dir.) From the glaring bright light of the morning sun that the curtains did little to block out, to the familiar tone of his phones buzzing alarm, Lucy couldn't exactly tell which he hated more. He felt himself roll over in his covers, savouring the warmth and comfort his bed gave him, but despite wishing to live in this blissful ignorance he knew he had far too many important matters to tend to, and it wouldn't be wise to delay anything more than need be. His hand stretched out from the bed sheets, blindly feeling around as he tried to find the source of the insistent buzzing that seemed to rattle his head in its still sleepy and groggy state. He began to grow a little infuriated as he couldn't find it with shut eyes and a wandering hand, leaving him next to no choice but to reluctantly sit up on the bed, peeling back the bed sheets as he squinted his eyes open to finally grasp his phone. He swiftly dismissed the alarm, letting out a soft squeak as he stretched and yawned, the movement causing his shirt to ride up a little to expose his fair skin to the chilled air of the room. Suppressing a shudder, Lucy hauled himself to his feet as he stepped away from the bed, feeling as the sheets slid away from his form the further he got. His movements were incredibly sluggish and not at all energetic or graceful as they usually were. "I knew I should've turned in when I had the chance-- DAYUM!!" Lucian quickly exclaimed as he finally got a look at himself. His eyes were so blood shot, almost matching the hot pink of his iris's, accompanied by the horrific dark bags that settled beneath his eyes. He looked like he had done a few things plus some more. Like a truck had run him over, only to back up and then drive over once again. He grimaced as he noticed how his hair stuck out in all angles as well, looking like an untamed and wild birds nest that had gone off the blueprints for a bit of freestyle. This was going to take some time. A lot of time. And a lot of product. He fired up the shower, hearing as it ran down the walls with a thunderous roar. Oh how he loved the water pressure of this place. When Samael had moved them off to some hidden away warehouse, his first instincts had been to either hurl, run or both at the same time. He could never soil his clothing or his stunning good looks in a place that seemed like a dungeon hand picked from one of those overly dramatic fantasy novels. Never in a hundred or even a thousand years, would he be caught in a place like that. He had taken what savings he had, instead choosing to stay elsewhere until the coven found a more... Suitable place to stay in. A base of operations you might call it. Steam filled the bathroom as the fan whirred overhead, keeping the air moving as Lucy slid out of his sleep wear before stepping into the shower. It was always what he needed the morning after such big events. There had been a party the previous night to celebrate the new partnership between two design companies who had decided to better both brands through a collaboration. Of course Lucy had been the one to orchestrate plenty of said party, by organizing meetings between both companies and suggesting the ideas they had taken to so well. For once, he hadn't even felt the need to use his vampiric ability to softly nudge them in the direction he desired them to go in. Nope. Not one bit. Most of the decisions much to Lucian's relief had been of their own free will, and the party was surely one he wouldn't forget anytime soon. The warm water washed over Lucian's body, gently massaging the stiffness that had formed overnight during his sleep. He spent a few minutes washing up his hair and face, doing his best to ignore the mark that had BLESSED his face since birth. How he despised the awful mark. But there was little he could do to rid himself of it, and so the next best option available was the one he used day after day. Cover it up. The shower handle squeaked as he turned the water off, shaking his head as his silvery white hair hung in his eyes ever so slightly, dripping with water that ran along his nose and jawline to drop from his chin. Stepping out, he dried his hands on his towel, reaching for his phone as he quickly unlocked it and opened up his Spotify, hitting shuffle as Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish began to fill the steaming room. Happily, Lucian bopped his head in time to the song, setting about getting ready for the day. It took quite a decent amount of time, from the blow drying and styling of his hair, to the soft amount of make-up he wore on his face, but soon he felt he was ready to face the day. Gripping a hair tie between his teeth, he bunched the longer pieces of black hair at the back of his head up, gripping it as he slowly guided the locks through the band before tying it up in his usual ponytail. Pink eyes gazed down to his phone screen with the softest hint of narrowing as he pressed the on button again. It was... Unusually quiet today. Usually by now he'd have texts and emails galore, maybe even a few missed calls. But as he stared at the screen, no notifications were there to greet him. A pleasant surprise none the less. Perhaps he could afford to take his time this morning, maybe grab a coffee and some breakfast to go. A soft smile graced his lips as he wrapped his towel around his waist, making his way to the bedroom once again as he started to soft through his countless outfits of clothing in his wardrobe. It took a little while for him to find something he was content with, but soon he settled for one of his personal favourites. A set of zebra print leggings, paired with a hot pink jacket to match his eyes that he chose to wear slightly off his shoulders. He slipped a black tank top on underneath the jacket, feeling the soft hug it gave his torso to outline the dips and contours of his toned muscular form beneath. He then slipped on some black dress shoes that gleamed in the sun's soft glow as he threw open the curtains to greet his room. Boxes were still piled around the place, his belongings staying put until the coven found a better suited place to live in. Until then, his stuff would remain in their boxes lest he actually need something from them. Just to save the hassle of unpacking just to repack again shortly after. Mind you, that was if things went well. Worst case scenario, it would be months, maybe even years before that happened. The thought alone was enough for Lucy to shudder. 'Yeah, no thank you.' He thought internally, dreading the situation his imagination had conjured up against his will. With one last glance at himself, Lucy placed the white plaster over the birthmark on his cheek, ensuring the tape stuck properly and wouldn't risk falling off during the day. With a firm nod to make sure it wasn't at risk of doing so, he plucked his sun glasses from the bedside table top as he placed them upon his face, feeling the familiar weight of them being supported by his nose as he carried himself out of the apartment, locking the door as he then lifted his phone up to his ear, dialing a number. "Heyyy boo, you know what time it is, meet me out front in five, myeah?" He spoke cheerfully to the man on the other end of the line. Barely a day went by when he didn't speak to his driver, no matter what time it was, he was always just a call away from Lucy. Needless to mention, Lucian always tipped the guy well. Perhaps too well... Maybe that played some part of the reason as to why the guy would always race for Lucian upon getting the call no matter where he was or what he was doing. But who was Lucy to complain? It was hella convenient and they always had the best talks in the car rides to and from places. His footsteps echoed as he made his way down the buildings floors, before stepping through the glass doors to the street as he saw the familiar black 2017 Audi A5 sportback waiting for him as it always was, the driver leaning up against it's side before his gaze caught onto Lucian's form, or rather, the very bright colours of his jacket and the striking pattern of his leggings. "Good morning Mister Blackwood! Looking fantastic as always sir." The driver greeted as Lucy flashed him a dashing smile. "Oh you~ You're far too charming for your own good sometimes. Best put some of that aside for a girl hmm?" Lucy hummed teasingly as the drive shook his head in amusement. "You know I've been married for three years now Mister Blackwood." He said with a light chuckle as he closed the door after Lucy had slid into the backseat. "Lucky girl then." Lucian smirked, loving the way his driver refused to get flustered by his teasing anymore. When they first met, Lucy's comments had always left the man sputtering and a nervous confused mess. But now? Now the driver managed to brush it off so easily, refusing to let it phase him anymore. He knew Lucian was only ever joking or teasing to get a rise from him, but he had to admit, he enjoyed the banter they shared. "I'm thinking perhaps I might have enough charm for the both of us. Maybe then you might have a chance of finding someone of your own Mister Blackwood." The driver managed to quip back, earning a snicker from his passenger in the backseat. "Is that so? Well then. I suppose I should be grateful for you." Lucy hummed as he gazed out the window of the car as they pulled out into the street. "Same place as usual sir?" The driver inquired, casting a glance to his rearview mirror as Lucy nodded. "Same place as usual." Lucian echoed his words as confirmation as the car navigated through the streets. His thoughts began to wander as he mindlessly stared out the car window, watching the buildings and people flash by in unfocused blurs through the blue tint of his sunglasses. He had already given up on the idea of a morning coffee and some breakfast, choosing that he would treat himself later. If he started to spoil himself now, he might make a habit of it and his time was already so precious to him.

Corrie | Female | Ravik Beta Female | Mentions: Saul, Faelin, Jaedyn (dir)
A small smile, and Corrie inclined her head. She seems to have been unperturbed by the loud entrance - given that her greetings to them were warm and relaxed. She headed over to the food and helped herself to a fair portion, while making sure there was enough for everyone else as well. She'd probably end up making something else later to prep for anyone that needed a snack and came in late. "Good to see you," she said, nodding to both Jaedyn and Faelin, and as Saul left, she nodded and waved amicably. "How're you both doing? Any exciting plans today?" she asked, before starting to nibble fastidiously at her breakfast. "Sleep well? Need anything?" Perhaps a bit too chatty for so early in the day, but, well, she was in a good mood and wanted to see how they were doing. Addie | Female | Ravik Medic, Female | Mentions: Saul (indir) Addie woke up blearily and shuffled about to get ready for the day, having slept in a little after gaming a little too late into the night. When she finally felt like her eyes weren't glued shut and her brain stopped feeling foggy (starting with a can of soda out of her minifridge) she headed into the room they'd long ago turned into a makeshift infirmary. She started doing inventory as was her norm in the mornings - something that helped her and Saul do their jobs well. Making sure that all the medical supplies were numbered, organized, and where they ought to be made a world of difference if someone came in suddenly and needed medical attention. When all was said and done, she grinned and scarfed down a few of her protein bars, preferring the solitude of the infirmary over joining others for breakfast. The silence suited her well, as she opened her laptop and started going between researching medical news and procedures, and watching videos.

Samael Dietrich | Male | Vampire Leader | Mentions: NPC {Dir.}, Calliope {Dir.}, Niemir {Dir.}, Lucian {Ind.}, Kadel {Ind.}, Vincent {Ind.}, Andromeda {Ind.} The sun had just begun bleeding into the horizon, casting long shadows across the woodland Samael had purposefully inserted himself into. Not alone, however. While his amber gaze had fixated absently on the scene that stretched around the jeep he lay in the back of, the young woman bound to his side with an arm draped across his bare abdomen began to stir. The stringy brunette he had tempted into a sinful encounter was a relatively proper young lady so he learned through idle conversation: church-going, devout college student, and beloved in the community. Not so proper when the lights were turned down, he recounted in a sweep of his gaze downward to her shifting form, but otherwise a good person. “You’re cold,” she commented, sleepily propping herself up enough for her brown tresses to spill over her shoulder as she blinked thoughtfully at him. “I told you we should have closed the door,” she sighed, her blue eyes moving toward the jeep’s tailgate. “I’ll live,” Samael assured, running his fingers through her hair before moving in a gesture for her to fully remove herself from him. “Care to watch the start of a new day with me?” He asked, smiling as if he intended to show her the world, to which she bashfully agreed. Having exited the jeep with his shirt in hand, he slipped the black button-down on while waiting for his companion to dress more modestly. Samael couldn’t help but consider how tranquil not only the surrounding woods were, but the town surrounded by the lush land as well. It was quiet here. Too quiet. Though he intended to change that. Rejoining his side, the brunette took in a large inhale of the crisp air, closing her eyes to bask in the few rays of light penetrating the treeline. “Isn’t it wonderful?” She asked blissfully, leaning back into Samael’s taller frame as he wrapped his arms loosely around her from behind. “It will be,” the blond man replied, tracing his fingers up along her right arm, stopping to allow his fingers to ghost over the cross pendant from her necklace that sat proudly over the hollow of her throat. “Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?” He asked tenderly. “Of course I do,” she smiled through her reply, inclining her head to meet his gaze. “I think there’s a purpose in everything.” “Me too,” Samael hummed, allowing his hand to slowly travel up her throat. “And I believe you’re serving yours so well. You’re perfect in every way I need you to be.” His tone had steadily gotten quieter as his hand found her face, beginning to cover her mouth as her brows furrowed inquisitively. “Don’t worry, what’s coming next will be wonderful.” The word slipped through his lips as a promise in unison with his hand clamping over her mouth before he sunk his fangs into the side of her neck. The shock delayed her instinct to struggle, though muffled screams and minimal writhing were all one could be capable of in his snake’s coil. A short time after life had abandoned her in his arms, Samael lifted his head, satiated with the meal. She couldn’t have known how much of an appetite he had worked up with her overnight but it was a mistake she would never learn from. Even so, a meal and a pleasurable night were only pleasant additions to Samael’s true intentions with her. After all, nothing would garner the kind of attention he was looking for like a killer entrance into town. The vampire carelessly discarded her body from his arms with a thoughtless drop and walked back to the jeep to gather the few belongings he had left inside. A jacket, his phone, and the gloves he religiously slid onto his hands before addressing the red dribble on his lips and buttoning his shirt. While he hadn’t been in town long, he had been long enough to know where to leave his gift wrapped in thin clothes in an attempt to provoke a reaction from the other supernatural entities that permanently resided here. Close enough to the werewolf residence to be concerning and far enough to not necessarily be a threat. Not to mention it was a curious way to test the waters with the factionless entities he was learning to also reside in town. Casting one last glance out toward the rising sun, he savored the sight of the light cast over his bold ‘hello’ communicated through a corpse to his impending acquaintances. Content with the state of his message, Samael’s forward stride compelled him to turn his back to the sun. • • • A silent entrance into the warehouse he had delivered his flock to permitted him to hear a theatric groan from a more disposable member of his coven. While Samael was very well aware of how little everyone fancied such a drab atmosphere, he himself had come to grow fond of the otherwise unsavory living space. It was an exercise of control on his part, to observe the kinds of inconveniences he could place upon his disciples and whether such inconveniences challenged their allegiance to even a minimal degree. Of all those who could be aware of Samael’s penchant for pushing individuals and their limits, he assumed Calliope to know this was not a nuisance intended to slight her. “Bored, are we?” Samael had voiced thoughtfully as he made his presence more well known, casting his amber gaze around as if to encourage the other members of his coven to participate in his survey before his gaze landed on Niemir. “Patience is a virtue,” he divulged to the younger vampire, clasping his gloved hands behind his back as he proceeded to walk in a slow pace. “Though I would hate to impede on your dying need for excitement, or anyone else’s for that matter. ” Pausing in his stride to elicit a thoughtful sigh, Samael shifted his attention toward Calliope. “I’ll assume nothing notable transpired during my absence,” studying his right hand’s reaction and noting to better cue her in on his activities later, Samael continued in a general address to the other vampires. “If you feel so inclined to wander, do so tactfully and vigilantly.” He didn’t feel the need to repeat his expectations for preserving lower-kept profiles among other sensible things such as thoughtful consumption habits. “I’d be pleased to be made aware of any notable information circulating around town as well.” He added, more or less giving a side task to appease his own curiosities through his extensions. Each member within Samael’s coven served a varying practical use to him otherwise they wouldn’t be in his company at all. Some had more prominent uses for the vampire: Calliope was a reliable right hand, Kadel was both knowledgeable and intriguing, even Lucian, at the very least, was a skilled communicator. Vincent started as an object of curiosity to Samael, in all honesty, though Vincent’s dedication to even the most trivial of tasks was appreciated even if the lead vampire did not outwardly display expressions of approval. Niemir was good for doing as assigned, though that’s about as highly as Samael could regard him. The common theme regardless of the vampires he surrounded himself with though was the value they brought to the table for him. Those who have ever failed to be a beneficial presence though have simply ceased to inconvenience him entirely, and while perhaps Calliope serves as the only living testament to that, Samael could confidently say he’s content with the members of his coven so far. With the exception of another vampire he’s also in town to observe the worth of for himself.

☾ Ikaris V. Ravik ☽ Werewolf ⋆ Alpha Male ⋆ Mentions: Corrie, Briar, pack members in the kitchen (all indirectly)
Silence. The dead of night drove it's dagger into the chest of a man who was paralyzed by the silk-smooth words that dripped from the bloodied fangs of a curly red-haired vampire. The same vampire that was now kneeling over him, hand tightly gripping his face. The silence between the two was thick enough to cut through earth's strongest metal. Fiery brown eyes stared into the stubbornly defiant green eyes that belong to the alpha male of the Ravik pack, Ikaris. The vampire smirked, pushing his thumb across the beast's bottom lip, smearing blood across it before quickly pulling his hand back to inspect the crimson liquid that dripped from his thumb. Ikaris was frozen, watching as the vampire stuck his thumb into his mouth and sucked the blood off of it, "Tch."
What the hell was that supposed to mean? The alpha's brows furrowed, his jaw tightening as he flashed a mean look to the vampire. That drew a chuckle from the bloodsucker, "I know that werewolves exist. I mean, look at me. I know a freak when I see one." Standing up, the red-haired vampire tilted his head, lifting a foot to rest on top of the alpha's chest, "Blood tastes different depending on what the victim is. If you want to get into the finer details, blood types have their own flavors too. I never really did like animal blood. You wolves taste fucking horrible." Swallowing the blood that had seeped into his mouth, Ikaris scoffed. Amused, the curly-haired man flashed his teeth in an innocent smile, "I like that." Pausing he drew his foot back off of the man's chest, "Your spirit. That fire. It's admirable. Maybe next time we see each other we can have a little rematch, without you holding back your wolfy strength." The vampire paused for a moment, quietly watching to see if Ikaris would make a move. When it was clear that the werewolf wasn't going to get up, he smiled again, "Until next time, Wolfy."
As soon as the vampire ran off in a blur, Ikaris broke. The breath he was fighting to hold escaped his raw throat as he looked up at the pitch-black sky. His entire body ached, probably from being thrown across a room and into a wall. He could reach into his pocket and pull out his phone, call for help, but he was scared. Fuck. He wasn't even scared of the damn blood sucker. He was scared of what he was. Ikaris was scared about how the hell he was going to tell the pack about this. Would they even believe him if he told them what he saw? If he was them, he sure as shit wouldn't believe him. After all, he had been drinking. The alpha's green gaze drifted across the sky, watching as clouds shifted to reveal the stars. As time felt like it had been frozen, Ikaris got lost in thought. If that guy was a vampire... did that mean that there were more of them here? What would the pack do? Ikaris really didn't want to have to deal with some sort of war. No. His parents had told him about the last time vampires were here, and that had ended with a war that drove the vampires out of the territory up until now. As his heart heavily thudded in his chest, Kari shakily exhaled, "Shit."
As Ikaris pushed himself up from the gravel of the alleyway he grunted. The constant dull ache in his body reminding him to take it easy. While he wasn't bloodied up, save from the split lip and his split knuckles, he still looked rough. It was obvious that he was hurting, and there was no way he could hide this when he got home. Ikaris reached up to his bun, undoing his hair and letting it cascade over his shoulders like a black waterfall until he could put it back up into a neater bun. Reaching into his pocket with his bloodied hand, Ikaris grabbed onto his phone and pulled it out. As he unlocked the phone, he hesitated. Should he try to call Briar to get a ride home? While it was the smart decision, he wasn't fully on board with it. One, it was late... and two, he drank again. He had relapsed, big time. Could he bring himself to sit in a car with Briar knowing full and well he'd be disappointed? Ikaris remembered the day he promised to stop his habit, to only drink in moderation- but tonight he fully broke that promise. One drink turned into two, two turned into four, and four turned into six. While drinking didn't make him prone to violence, it did support his self-destructive urges. That was how he got himself into a fight with a damned vampire. Grumbling, Ikaris stuffed his phone back into his pocket. He could walk home and get his car in the morning.
"V? Oh my gosh!" An all too familiar shrill voice cracked through the silence like a lightning strike, startling Ikaris. Golden-brown eyes and blonde hair. Elle. Throwing on a fake smile, Ikaris straightened his posture, doing his best to mask the pain. For a moment it seemed like he could get away with this, that she would just move on and leave... he should've known better than to think that she'd just keep going. While the small woman could be absolutely vile, he did have to admit she cared to some extent. Immediately she walked up to her ex, reaching a hand up to cup his face, lifting it slightly to take a better look at his split lip. The barricade he tried to set up was falling apart, and those watery eyes told her that whatever had happened tonight struck a nerve in him. Elle softly exhaled, opening her purse and grabbing out a small pack of napkins.
Tearing the package open, she took two napkins and pressed them to his bloodied lips, "Ikaris, what happened?" Her voice was scarily calm. The last time she had shown him any sort of decency was back when they had first started to date. Even back then, genuine concern and worry were rare emotions for her to express. Biting back the urge to pull away and walk off, Ikaris looked down at her, making eye contact with her for the first time tonight as his jaw flexed nervously, "Leave." Kari's chin quivered as he bit back the urge to fall right into her trap. There was just no way she actually cared. Every time he stopped and gave her another chance, she sweet talked her way into getting anything she wanted. Every time that she saw him in shambles, she knew it'd be easy to wrap him around her pinky and play him like a fiddle. Tonight was no different. That sweet intoxicating smell of roses and honey burned his nostrils. Pain-filled eyes closed as he hung his head, his voice cracked as he spoke, "Please."
The blonde pulled her hand back, eyeing the bloody napkins before looking to her ex boyfriend, eyebrows scrunched together as her blood pressure started to rise. Flaring her nostrils, Elle scoffed, "Seriously? I'm trying to help you and you want me to leave? For crying out loud, Ikaris, we dated! I still care for you, so I'm going to make sure that you're safe, got that?" She reacted exactly how he thought she would. A small sigh escaped the werewolf's lips as he pulled his gaze up from the ground, his somber green eyes meeting the golden fire of hers. What could he even say to that? If he tried to be more direct with her, it could cost him something that he didn't want to lose, not tonight. Part of him felt as though he was overreacting, that maybe he had a chance to be direct with her and for her to understand. Weighing his options, Ikaris bit down on his tongue. No. He couldn't do it. The pit in his stomach and the tension in his jaw drove his point home, this situation was bad enough as his, another comment and he could really be in for the worst night of his life. Sensing the dilemma from the other person, Elle crossed her arms over her chest, raising one eyebrow, "So, now you're Mr. Shy Guy. How can such a big man be so scared of little me?"
Ikaris had enough. Taking a step closer to Elle, the injured man shook his head as he curled his top lip, "You know damn well why! You don't know how to show genuine kindness to anyone. You always have some sick, twisted motive. Do you know what you've done? Oh, wait. Of course you know, it makes you happy, doesn't it?" Ikaris stepped closer into her space, looking down at her as he continued, "I can't ever take a compliment. I can't ever believe anything kind that is said about me, because all I think about is how you would do that and how you would then twist my arm and use me. You were always so fucking good at lying, and now? Now that's all I ever think about other people; that they have to be lying. I hate myself, and it's all your fault." The ex lovers stood in silence, staring at each other as they both soaked in what had just happened. Elle's eyes were wide, her hands clenched into balls as she dug her nails into her palms. Ikaris' heart was too quick and too loud, his breathing erratic, "Leave. For once I need you to walk away. I'm tired of your games."
--
Several hours later Ikaris was back home. However, the alpha male was sitting outside of the house in his car. It was silent, save from the chirping of crickets and the birds cooing. The leaves in the trees rustled as a small gust of wind rattled them, breaking Ikaris from his thoughts. Kari's grip loosened on the steering wheel, the color dancing back under the skin on his knuckles. Which had been white from the tight grip he had on the wheel. Last night had been an absolute mistake. He couldn't help but wonder how things would've gone if he had just kept to himself at the bar, or if he had never gone out in the first place. Either way, he broke a promise and he couldn't help but feel a sense of panic. Would Briar be waiting inside, ready to scold him as soon as he stepped into the pack house? Would he angrily yell at him? Hit him? No, he's not like her. Biting down on his tongue, Ikaris winced. A light coppery taste filled his mouth. The small puncture would heal up quickly, so he paid it no mind as he found himself staring at the house. If he stayed in the car any longer, he'd make things worse for himself. He could handle getting yelled at, but he couldn't handle the rampant thoughts that ran through his head in small moments of panic like this. Without any tell, warning, or sign, Ikaris slammed his hands down on the steering wheel and shouted. The alpha instantly regretted it, hissing at the pain that radiated from his left shoulder.
Kari laughed at himself bitterly as he ran his right hand through his newly cut hair, which was significantly shorter than the long hair he sported less than ten hours ago. He was worried, and for what? At most, he'd get a stern talking to by the pack. It was expected. Ikaris Ravik, the alpha male, once again went out on a limb and risked his life by drinking and picking a fight he couldn't handle. Sure, the last time he did this was months ago... but it was still characteristic of him. The wolf was prone to stupid and rash decisions like that. One would assume that the pack would be fed up, that they'd have some sort of plan to kick him out of his role and place someone more sensible in charge. In the end, Ikaris wouldn't really blame them. He was still unsure about why he had to be in charge, despite being the son of the previous alphas. Was that all it took to become a leader? If so, then that's all he had going for him. There was just no way there was anything else about him that qualified him for the position, right? Pulling his phone from his pocket, Ikaris read the message that Corrie had sent him not too long ago. Ikaris cleared his notifications before stuffing his phone back into his pocket. There really was no point in responding to her message right now, not when he was about to get up and walk into the house.
As he got out of the car, the alpha winced. Most of the bruising on his body would heal up by tomorrow night, his split lip would take two days to heal, his split knuckles would probably take a day or two to heal, and what he assumed were bruised ribs, would heal in maybe a few days. Perhaps some ibuprofen could help ease the ache in his ribs and make it easier for him to draw in proper breaths. Ikaris wasn't really sure if anything would help his dislocated shoulder until he could get it set back into place though, which he really wasn't looking forward to. Maybe he could keep that to himself and figure out how to set it on his own later. He'd rather not spend much time with the medics, because he knew damn well one of them would end up dragging him down to medical if they saw him. Stuffing the keys to his car into his pocket, Ikaris quietly walked towards the pack house, his forest green eyes scanning the windows as he quietly opened the front door and walked inside. He did his best to straighten his posture, to look less beaten up than he actually was. The moment the door opened he was greeted by the smell of food and the sound of some of the pack members chatting in the kitchen. Closing the door behind him, Ikaris cleared his throat as he walked towards the living room. The path inevitably made him walk by the kitchen, his green gaze flickering to look at the group that was in it as he walked by. It would probably do him well to get something to eat, but he wasn't too sure he'd be able to handle being around that many people while he felt like shit- and well.... looked like shit. So, he opted to take a seat on the couch, letting his body sink against the comfy cushions as he let out a deep sigh. He would typically opt to hide away in his room, but Ikaris really didn't have the energy to drag himself up the stairs to get to his room.

Calliope Leonatus | Second-In-Command Vampire | Mentions: Samael (Dir.) Niemir, Vincent, Lucian (Indir.) The look of pure indifference that she received in response to her question from the young male made her eye twitch with obvious annoyance. His reclined position, arm extended demurely across the back of his broken chair. He was a picture of nonchalance and it irritated her. Even his smile as he spoke was teasing, coaxing her into hissing out a sharp insult, he always played this game. Frankly, Calliope thought it to be childish. Then again, by comparison he was akin to a toddler. She barely managed to draw another shaking breath from her cigarette and tap the ash from the end, letting it fall onto the concrete floor before he was chattering again. Flailing himself around, twisting to look behind himself at Vincent. Though, she did ponder on the location of their lead as well. However, as if on command and summoned by the mere mention of his name. Calliope heard the familiar steady footsteps from behind her, beneath Niemir’s dramatic proclaims about dying, she could sense Samael’s approach. Deliberately, Calliope rested her hand on her waist, simply staring at Niemir as Samael closed the distance across the warehouse. It looked as though she needn’t bother to speak to the young man, he was about to be slotted back into his place. Instead of speaking as she heard the familiar call of her muse, she stepped to the side to allow Samael to enter the group as the head of the conversion. Afterall, it was what his presence commanded. Even without speaking, he could gain the attention of an entire stadium of people. That was what had drawn her to him all those years ago, back when she was a young lady enamoured by his incredible mind. Then one day, Samael had vanished into the mist, she thought she would never live to see him again. Beside herself, she resigned to live her life as her parents had intended. Prancing around the upper class, attending groundbreaking fashion events. Bursting with youth, she was to be the next big name. Calliope Leonatus, prepared to take on the world. Alas, that is not what the universe had in store for her. Like a pitiful child, she had been swiped from the streets of Paris and pulled down a thin alleyway. The hot breath of another being on her neck, like an uncontrollable animal, the other woman had pinned her to the brick. Proclaimed her adoration for Calliope, that she was an incredible woman with a brilliant mind. A mind that had to be preserved. With that, the searing pain of fangs slicing into her neck. Since that night, she had become a recluse. Her new desires had been dreadful, awfully distasteful for a woman to participate in. Kept under the claws of that woman, Lilliana, a prized pet. Only when she had been walking alone one night, did she meet the familiar amber eyes of Samael and her world became so much bigger. Instant recognition of what he was, the same as her. That she could leave with him. However, leaving with him meant befriending and defending her position by his side. Which she did without hesitation, something about him drew her in like a black hole, dragging up her more vicious nature. In fact, it had been on Samael’s command that she ripped Lilliana’s trachea out from her throat. Proof that she would not have divided loyalties with her creator. Drenched in Lilliana’s blood, she had walked with confidence back to Samael and never looked back. “Mm, nothing of great interest. Simply complaining children.” Calliope pushed out another breath tinged with smoke, directing it away from Samael. Niemir was useful in a way, but he was new. He needed to prove himself. She watched as the male straightened his spine where he sat in the chair and gazed up at Samael, eyes bright with focus. A short grunt came from her throat at the sight, her eyes turned towards the door to the warehouse. There should be more of them here, not that she liked the warehouse. Far too used to living lavishly, fanned out on the large beds of the best hotels, Lucy by her side as they paged through their receipts from that days endeavours. God, she wished she had gone with him to stay anywhere but this dingy place. Yet, she would not leave Samael’s side. If he resided here, then so did she. On that note… Calliope picked the stub of a cigarette from the end of the holder and flicked it to the ground, using her red-bottomed heels to smush out the light. She picked up the lingering scent upon Samael as he had walked up to them, but now with the tainted air cleared, it was as plain as day. A knowing smile drew itself onto her dark red lips, taking a few pointed steps towards Samael, positioning herself squarely in front of him. Making a small show of drawing in a deep breath and pouring it back out, her eyes closed before she spoke. “You smell as though you had a fun night.” Her words dripped from her lips and her eyes snapped back open to stare confidently up at his own. It was true, the lingering metallic scent of blood, indicated a recent meal. Not only that, the salty wisp beneath it implied something more. Calliope tilted her head to the side slowly. “You could have shared.” Her lips drew into a small pout. Calliope had always appreciated that she could converse freely with her leader, far more freely than others of the coven. Though, she knew not to push it too far. Gentle toying and suggestions to their plans were as far as she would step over the line of leadership, she respected him far too much to head any further. Her pout had quickly reverted back to a sly smile, straightening her head. “I shall have to find my own plaything this evening, I suppose.” She hummed, twisting her body back around to look over her shoulder towards the small gathering of vampires. She itched to inquire as to when they would be free to leave this warehouse, but that was a question to be asked when they did not have an audience. That and what his exact intentions of moving them there had been. Then again, Samael’s intentions were never black and white. Every shade of grey to exist, yes. But never black and white. “Would you like me to do anything in particular for you, Samael?” Calliope decided that Niemir was boring her, he had amused her enough for the day and could be sent off into town to carry out the obviously menial task that their leader had just assigned. Her neck righted itself, her eyes training themselves upon Samael once more. Gazing up at him in anticipation for the next words that would come from his lips.

Solomon "Saul" Hale // Male // 23 // Ravik Werewolf // M: Lucian (dir.) / Jaedyn, others (ind.) The fresh air was calming. It had a sort of touch to it, where it had a faint ability to clear ones' mind, to help them think better and thoroughly. Saul enjoyed the fresh air and as he walked through the town, waved to a few passerby's as they waved to him. His dazzlingly bright smile was fond and full of a friendly light, the type of smile that carried no ill-will. Even if he knew a lot about a lot of people. As far as he was concerned, he knew nothing about them just what others saw. Everyone could be a good friend, after all, the more friends one had... the less worry they had to suffer. Or something like that--his mentor had a plethora of odd sayings that he had largely bunched together and often came out in odd combinations. He paused, talking with an older woman as she chatted back with him. He was used to seeing her, often working together on figuring out the right medication for her heart struggles. But today, she was simply asking him if he needed a thicker coat. Saul replied that he was quite alright, it wasn't that cold yet, not to him. He had just sent her on her way when a familiar voice broke into his thoughts. His sapphire eyes swiveled with his head to look back at Lucian and another lopsided smile drew over his face, chuckling as he waved back to Lucy. "Ah, I can't say that I have," Saul chirped back, his chest lifting in a loose chuckle. "I had a few longer shifts in the ER and ... well... you know how it is back home. He had an innate feeling that someone, somewhere had done something rather ... stupid. But he figured that was likely Jaedyn and his skateboard. He made a mental note to get another brace and splint on top of the usual supplies. "It is a wonderful day," Saul confirmed, pushing one hand through his hair. "Not too cold, a crisp air to keep you awake--ahh--" he let out a loose noise and shook his head, a faint rose touch lifting to his cheeks, "now, I'm no Angel, Lucy. We've been over this," he shook his finger back at the Vampire. There wasn't much heat to his voice, "I'm simply just a doctor. That is all. That's all I am, anyone can be a doctor if they put enough practice and time into learning about how to do it." Saul glanced behind Lucy and spotted the driver. "But it is good to see you again," he clapped his shoulder and tipped his head, "I shouldn't keep you for too long. It looks like you've got someone waiting for you and I have a grocery list of supplies I need to get. See you around?" His eyes flicked up toward his face, catching the pink iris and porcelain skin. "You would do well to find a sunscreen as well. It may be getting cold but the sun does not care," he added briefly.

Niemir Archambeau | Medic Assistant Vampire | Mentions: Vincement (Dir.) Calliope, Samael,(Indir.) Niemir had parted his lips to make a further comment on his destitute boredom when Calliope had stepped aside and he honed in on the approaching Samael. He rocketed upright in his seat, eyes bright and alert once again as he watched the much older man make his advance. Well, this was not favourable. For Samael to see him flailing around like a fish and mouthing off to his favourite coven member. Certainly not. He tried to correct himself quickly enough, sitting upright and giving his undivided attention to their leader. Alas, when Samael spoke his heart dropped. He had witnessed it. A sharp jab of embarrassment came over the young man and he almost shied away, about to cast his gaze to the floor when he had the thought that if he did so Samael may strike his head from his neck for the weakness. Instead, Niemir only tensed his shoulders and offered a small nod of acknowledgement towards the knowledge that he had been given. Once Calliope had rounded to pout at Samael, Niemir felt his body lighten now that it was not under the stern gaze. He twisted in his chair to glance at Vincent momentarily, observing how the man was simply watching them. Quickly he got to his feet, at least Samael had given them an excuse to get out of this place. Deciding that he would rather not be lectured by his mentor for his insolence, he headed for Vincent. He bent down at the waist briefly, stretching out the muscles along his back, giving a small grunt of effort. Whipping himself back upright, he cocked his head up to look at Vincent. Staring boldly at him before he parted his lips to speak. “Do you want to go into town?” He offered a simple question. In all honesty, Niemir felt rather bad for the other man. He couldn’t talk and was often shunted the terrible housework that no one else wanted to do. At least if Niemir could get him out into the town, Vincent couldn’t be assigned laundry or whatever stupid task Samael could come up with. “Only if you want to come, obviously. Don’t feel pressured.” Niemir glance away, giving a side-long look towards Calliope and Samael. His eyebrows knitting together briefly in scrutiny. Well, it was more envy about the freedom that the woman had. While others were strapped in tightly to the regime, she could flaunt around and dish out her venom to whomever she pleased and still go back to Samael and be praised for the callousness. Samael was a commanding presence that he respected, even if it was half fuelled by fear of losing his life to the man. Niemir could see the power he held, especially amongst their coven. It would be stupid to try and shoot back a retort. That much he knew, and as much as the others thought him to be an oaf, he did in fact have a brain banging around in his skull. When he thought about it like that, maybe they deserved each other. Niemir let out a short huff through his nose, turning his attention back to the larger male. “Well?” He pressed. Even if Vincent couldn’t talk, Niemir could do enough chatting for the both of them and then some. Truthfully, he just wanted out into the open. To breathe in some fresh air and take in the town, see what was up for grabs, meals included. He had heard a few people the night they had arrived, but had yet to venture out to explore. On that note, Niemir peered down at himself. He supposed he was ‘tactful’ enough, but perhaps the vest was a little bit much for their current environment. As much as it pained him, Niemir began to fiddle with the tightly strapped vest to remove it from his chest. Giving occasional peeks up towards Vincent to catch any gesture the man was trying to show him. The silken black material was easy to remove after it had been unbuttoned, carefully he folded it over his left forearm, he would store it in one of the boxes on the way out. He would absolutely not place it down on these dirty broken chairs, it would ruin the fine fabric. Niemir let his eyes drift back up to Vincent and gave him his complete attention, staring up at him with wide unblinking eyes.

"Duffy" Marcello Dubhthaigh | Male | Lone werewolf | M: Adromeda - Indirectly Duffy did a couple circles around the block for his own sake. Sure, coffee would have caffeine and all that- But riding was actually waking him up. He finally started slowing down, eyes scanning the various shops and little stores. His eyes fell onto a small coffee shop. Ah, bingo. He started To pull over to the side, growling under his breath. He hated parallel parking. Literal nightmare. He didn't trust anybody around his bike except for- and there he saw it. That bike. Biker buddy's bike. Ok. Maybe the name was a bit dumb, but it wasn't like he actually knew anything about the guy. He thought they were a guy. They were like... most likely a guy? Probably? Yeah. It wasn't like he really cared, or paid attention. He was usually to busy making them eat his dust. He hummed leaving his own motorcyle kind of near theirs. The person who would understand and respect a motorcycle the most, someone he could actually trust it around? Another motorcyclist, of course. A real one. Like biker buddy. Gods he had to come up with a better name than 'biker buddy'. He hummed, taking his helmet off and shaking out his unruly hair. Ok- if he was a motorcyclist guy where would he go... But if he was a motorcyclist guy, but not himself. He hummed, eyes narrowing slightly. Hardware store? That felt... obvious. Maybe this was some sort of trick. No. That's dumb. Obviously the other guy didn't know where he would be, this was just a coincidence. Probably. Maybe. It couldn't hurt to check it out. And when he walked in... it was dead empty. Save for the cashier. He gave an awkward wave before grimacing. Ok- well now he had to get something or else it work look like he was scouting out the place to rob it. He sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. He always did shit like this. He grabbed the closest thing near him, pretending to actually consider options. It was a screwdriver. He'd find some use for it. After that he decided maybe today was just not the day to be trying to track down biker buddy to meet in person. Or he'd do it later. Couldn't think on an empty stomach, afterall. He was starving at this point. He could get groceries, but the store wasn't even open yet. His thoughts were interupted as he saw a sudden motion from the corner of his eyes. Some poor young woman almost fall face first into the coffee shop door. He couldn't tell if he wanted to laugh, or felt bad for her. Hell, if he had been closer he might've even tried catching her. Might've. Actually... yeah no. He wouldn't. He wasn't looking to star in some lousy romcom, and that sounded exactly like a cliche start to a bad movie. He followed after her though, eyes lingering on the poster that was just oh so interesting that people were aparently falling into coffee shops for. Nightlife stuff. Go figure. Well, it wasn't like he was going to have any grand plans. Maybe he'd consider it. He entered the shop and was practically suffocated by the overwhelming smell of coffee and various pastries and teas. He almost forgot why he hated going out to places like this. Welp, nothing like a good old reality check in the form of being slammed in the face with a dozen different scents. He'd probably smell like coffee for the rest of the day. He sighed, waiting in line. The place was crowded. Not a bad crowded, although there was no such thing as good crowded to him either. He ordered the first thing he saw on the board that he could actually pronounce, along with a breakfast sandwhich that had something like three types of bacon. Now that he could get behind.

Lucian Layn Blackwood ⟩⟩ Lucy/BK ⟩⟩ Male ⟩⟩ 25 ⟩⟩ Vampire ⟩⟩> Mentions: Saul (Dir.) Driver (NPC, Indir.) Calliope (Dir.) "You? No angel? Now that's the biggest load of bullshit I done heard since I was last near one of them cow farms." Lucy chuckled sweetly with a wide smile, his eyes lighting up beneath the blue tinted lenses of his sunglasses in joy. "Come now Saul dear, you must give yourself some credit where it's due. Ain't no one ever come by as talented and sweet as you honeybun." He continued as he sent a small wink in the boys direction. "I suppose I really shouldn't keep my driver waiting too long now. You had best clear a day in your busy schedule soon boo, we gotta do another coffee catch up sometime and go over things. I've been dying to hear from you!" Lucian called out as he began to make his way towards the waiting car with his bags of goods. He was reluctant to go, wishing he could just brush off the days duties and errands to spend time with someone he so adored listening too, to hear about his life and the happenings in it. But there would come a time and a place, and unfortunately for Lucian, neither were here or now. "Until next time love!" Lucy waved a final time before slotting himself back into the back seat of the waiting car, shifting the bags of clothes around carefully so as to not crease or ruffle any of the materials inside. He'd be caught six feet under before he ever gifted someone anything that was handled so carelessly. ESPECIALLY, to his darling, his best friend in crime, his sister from another mother, any of the fancy or silly titles you could think of. His lips tugged up in a soft, content smile as he sunk back in the cars seat slightly, welcoming the feel of the soft, cushiony leather. He knew he had just been driven in the car earlier before picking up the clothes, but something about doing certain things over after the first time seemed to really bring out the many feelings he missed the first time around. He found himself feeling more relaxed, more chipper, and a hell of a lot more excited for what came next. The driver drove a ways way out of the town, eventually coming to a stop at a long winding driveway by a fairly forested area. The driveway was mainly gravel, with dirt and stones paving the way down into the shaded region of the trees. Lucy felt his cheeks grow a little warmer as he realized he was beginning to feel even a little giddy. The thought of seeing Calli again, of seeing her reaction to his gifts, all of it brought such warm feelings to his body. With a short and sweet farewell, Lucian gathered up the bags once more, heading down the long winded driveway as his driver pulled back onto the road, disappearing from sight. It didn't take too long for Lucy to make his way down the path as the horrid sight of the slightly rundown warehouse came into view. Much to his displeasure, the driveway did little miracles for his black dress shoes which were now coated in a fine layer of dust. He felt much like a beacon in this depressing display of a base. From his bright, exotic patterned outfit to the happy mood he had the nagging feeling might not last as long as he wished it to. With a small deep breath in, he opened the warehouse doors with a flourishing motion, his bright hot pink jacket catching the smallest rays of sunlight that managed to slip through the tree tops outside as he began to stride inside. "Now now, not everyone get up all at once, but your shining star has finally arrived~" Lucy drawled on rather dramatically as he flashed his usual confident smirk. "My time is rather precious, so if anyone would tell me where my darling is--" Lucy's gaze shifted around the room before immediately landing on Calliope as his smile only grew grander. "CALLI! DARLING! Oh how I have missed the beautiful sight of you, my dear goddess-!" Lucy exclaimed as he rushed over to her in a few small strides, his long legs and tall frame clearing the distance with ease as he reached for her, planting a kiss on both her cheeks in greeting. "Oh, you would not believe some of the styles the company's have been coming out with lately Darling. I saw these and just knew I had to get them for you." Lucy spoke in a slightly higher pitched voice, eagerly handing the bags of clothes over to Calli as he watched her closely to examine her every expression. Every gasp, every tug of her beautiful lips. Gods above, how was he graced with the company of such a perfect specimen as herself? He couldn't imagine a life without his best friend in it. Oh how dull everything would be without their shared criticisms, their banter, the long winding conversations about everything yet nothing that seemed to go on forever. Lucy's fingers curled around the back of a nearby chair as he pulled it out, settling himself down as he rested his chin upon his palms, pink eyes focused on the woman in front of him.
