Shadow Dresden | 24 | M | Loner | M: Open
The sunlight filtered into the small cabin and a low sigh came from the bed. Shadow got up, stretching his aching neck before looking around warily. He was always paranoid when he woke up. Grabbing his mask, he headed to the kitchen. He was still wearing his clothes from yesterday. Black jeans with a t-shirt, it was much too hot for his jacket. He would need to go to the small store today for some resources. He checked the pail, it hadn't rained last night so it should be okay. He would need a few supplies to repair the roof...again.
He had found the cabin a while ago, seemingly forgotten by anyone around. There was a river close by that lead to a small town. It would be perfect. . .if it wasn't for the pack. Shadow had avoided any werewolf packs for a long while, but with this location, he simply had to be a bit more careful. His find was as good as a home as he could get right now. Besides, he had been careful so far. He rarely saw any of the pack members in the morning around town or any werewolf at all in the morning hours. As long as he stayed on this side of the river, only going over for the town, he would be fine. It was indeed a fine line between him and that pack's territory but Shadow was normally toeing with people's minds anyway.
Shadow got a cup of coffee before heading outside. Time for some breakfast. Catch it on the way and still get there in plenty of time. Shadow shifted, feeling his bones shift into position. He sighed contentedly as he shook out his black fur. Trotting through the woods, he paused at the river, noting that the current was a bit stronger than usual today. Okay, fish was out of the question. Not that he was looking forward to trout at the moment. He didn't like getting his paws wet. Following the shore, he got to a fallen log where he gently balanced on top before heading over to the other side.
Jumping off the log on the other side, he paused as rabbit scent filled his nose. Following the trail quickly but silently, he paused in the tall grass as the fluff ball made itself visible. Making his way downwind, he crouched before lunging forward. The rabbit managed to let out a squeak before he crushed its windpipe. Laying down, he ate his fill before burying the rabbit. No need to have coyotes looking for scraps. Loping through the woods, he came to a halt at the edge of town.
He shifted back, taking several minutes to make sure everything looked okay before pulling on his mask. At this point, it was quite normal although to anyone else, it would seem odd. The black mask looked like an extended eye patch that covered half of his face. His eye was covered and he took a moment to adjust to the light coming in that side before heading down an old trail that led into the town. This little town irked him. No one would question his mask nor ask him questions. It was almost as if they were used to travelers.
Shadow walked into the market, slipping into an alleyway. Fruits, vegetables, fresh bread, meats, you name it. He scanned the area before his eyes landed on the shop behind a weapon smith. Moving through the throng of people, he slipped inside the small repair shop. He picked up a few equipment and tools he would need to repair the roof before paying the man. Making it back out to the market, he checked the time. A half hour after 7. Hmm...he had a bit of time. He slipped into an alleyway to survey the crowd and see what was new in the market.

Another step forward followed by another badly making even a dry leaf rustle, era upon his head perked forward and straight. Tori O'Connor & Carson | Hunter & Medic | 24 & 25 | Female & Male | Mentions: Those in the kitchen. Carson watched Briar during the conversation and waited until it was finished before speaking. "And that is why you need to rest. One or three days of rest will not hurt you Briar. In fact it would make you more productive instead of burning yourself out to the point that it puts more strain not just on you but on the entire pack. Things will get missed by you inevitably and then that leaves either Ikaris or Raven or any other member of the pack to fix what you missed." The male took another bite of the breakfast and moved over to lean against an open space on the counter looking around the room. "Plus if you ever need to talk about family problems Tori or I are all ears. Tori also knows the pains of family drama/problems." Tori's eyes flew to her brother and threw daggers at him before she looked back over at Briar. "That may be true but Briar, every needs to take a break. Like Carson said, if we overwork ourselves to the point passed exhaustion are we really helping the pack or harming it? Also I would listen to the giant man. Doctor Carson is scary when you don't listen to him." She checked behind her to make sure that the counter was clear before lifting herself to sit upon the counter looking around the room at everyone else. Tori knew all too well about family problems and that it was the major reason why she had returned to the pack two years ago, though she has yet to speak a word about the sudden reappearance except to Carson. Her family delima was a cause for most of her own sleepless nights but she had done her best to hide her own struggles away from the pack. It was why she either worked on music alone or was working out at random hours of the night or even reading a random book. Anything that can distract her mind from certain events.

Raven Samara | 23 | F | Beta | M: Everyone in kitchen
Raven took in Briar in silence. He did seem like he hadn't had several days of sleep. He also should be eating more. She gave a small smile as Ikaris grew concerned for his packmate. It was nice to see that he wasn't as tense as he had been only a few minutes ago. She tilted her head towards Tori as she heard about the missing contact. Oh dear, Raven wasn't even sure where to get new contacts. She was thankfully blessed with being able to see out of both eyes but she understood Tori's position. Well, understood to the point of getting dirty looks.
She gave Tori a weird look at the mention of a spa before hiding a smile as Carson came into the room, covering for his salts. She gave him a mocking wounded look, "Oh, but wouldn't you love a massage? Get some of that tension out of you all." She said, flashing a grin at him. She knew he was concerned just like the rest of them for Briar, but even he needed to get the edge off.
Hmm...now that she thought about it, they all looked like they could use something to relieve the stress. She turned back to where Briar was before he got caught up with his phone. She waited a couple moments as he finished up and rubbed her forehead as Tori and Carson talked.
Aye aye aye, the tension in the room was nauseating. She finished up and went over to wash her dish. Finishing there, she leaned against the wall before saying, "I believe Tori has a point. We need to get out of the house for a while. Go to the spa, make our own, have a movie night or a run, something. I think it will cheer all of us up." She watched them before blinking slowly, her eyes scanning the room once more.
Raven looked at the time before sighing, "It's just about time for the morning patrol to go out. Would anyone like to come with me this morning?" She gave a pointed look at Briar, "And that's a no for you. Doctor orders, get some sleep." She turned her gaze to Tori, raising an eyebrow. Giving a pointed look at the food on the counter nearby, she said, "I'll be out front for anyone who would like to join me." With that, she turned, walking outside to breathe in the fresh air.

Night Chetan | M | Loner | 24 | M: Open
Night groaned as his alarm clock went off. He was definitely not a morning person. He forced himself to get up though. He was in yet another town. He didn't know this land nor what pack inhabited it. Blargh, he couldn't even think straight this morning. Shaking his head, he went to take a shower, the cold water bringing him fully awake. Too much to do, not enough time. Night got dressed, hurrying out of the hotel before they tried to charge him with another day or room service.
As he got to the streets, his phone buzzed. Mom. Oh for goodness sake, the last thing he needed to hear about was how she wanted him to come home. That pack was history to him. They had driven out his best friend when they were just kids. He had finally got enough courage to leave himself, but he couldn't find her anywhere. He didn't know what she looked like either, which made it all the harder. Samara, that was what he remembered from then. Geez, that was a while ago. He checked the time before heading down to the cafe.
Moving could wait. Breakfast first. Night devoured the eggs and toast the waitress brought before leaving a tip. No need to make enemies in this town like the last one. He rolled his left shoulder, it still ached from that bar fight. He checked his phone again, ignoring the text from his mother, and checking the map. There should be a pack somewhere close by. Whether he was in their territory or not didn't matter, he wasn't staying long. He did miss being in a pack, but no pack was worth it without Sammy. His parents were always discouraging him from saying her name or even talking about her, as if they wanted him to have nothing to do with the girl. Oh well, they would have to deal with it.
Sighing, he pocketed his phone before heading out of the town. He would prefer not to run into anyone and thankfully got out of the small marketplace without anyone shouting to him. Night was almost out of town when a silhouette slipped from an alleyway into the street. He turned to see a man slipping into the crowd and paused. His curiousity wanted to go after the odd man but common sense took over. The cops could figure it out if it was a criminal. The werewolves could figure it out if it was a loner. He wanted nothing to do with it. Night quickened his pace, making it out of the town and heading up a trail that seemed to go somewhere.

☾ Ikaris V. Ravik ☽ alpha male ⋆ 25 years old ⋆ mentions; those in the kitchen
"If you guys want to plan something the whole pack can do, go for it. Just let me know when you guys decide on something, that way we can make it happen." Finishing his breakfast off, Ikaris ran one of his hands through his hair and mumbled something to himself before he stood up, gathering his plate and glass before offering a smile to the group, "I'm going to head out on a quick run. If anyone needs me, just call."
Finishing off his orange juice, Ikaris then washed his plate and cup, letting his hands sit under the hot water long enough to where his hands just felt numb with warmth. Huffing, he drew his hands back and dried the plate and cup before setting them back in their respective places in the cupboards. He knew that he didn't really have to clean them off right away, but he wanted to spare whoever was going to get stuck on dish duty. Besides, it helped distract him from one of his nagging thoughts. Avoiding his internal turmoil was one of hs favorite things to do. Would it eventually lead to him drinking his heart out at the bar in town? Yes, but it was a price he was very willing to pay.
After heading to his room, Ikaris quickly threw on a grey tank top and a pair of black sweats, topping it off by slipping into a pair of tennis shoes. Ikaris shivered as the air inside his room nipped at his shoulders and arms, if he didn't plan on running he'd never wear this sort of shirt. He preferred normal t-shirts or long sleeves and the occasional hoodie. The werewolf would rather be hot than cold.
Putting his earbuds into his ears, the alpha then walked out of his room and went out the back exit of the pack house before breaking into a light jog. The werewolf was going to take it easy and slowly work his way up to a decent running pace. Kari didn't want to risk getting himself hurt after skipping out on his morning runs. As he delved into the tree line, Ikaris found himself running to the beat of the song he was listening to, his breaths falling in between each beat. Normally Kari struggled to find a proper way to breath when he ran, not due to being out of shape, but from simply over thinking the action. Today, his mind was focused on other things, so his attention wasn't focused on the way he inhaled and exhaled.
If he was lucky, he could get a solid 10 minutes in with this faster pace. Then, he'd have to return to the pack house and figure out of the pack is going to have a 'bonding' day or not.

Theo Black // M // Loner //Mentions: Night, Open . +Collecting the goods from the market stall he quickly stashes the small sweets into the pocket of his small run-down bag and waves to the seller. Pulling his hoodie back over his head he makes his exit from the small town, plus sooner or later the pack will be able to sniff out his scent. Shaking the thought from his mind he quickens his pace, soon arriving at the small path he was familiar with just outside of old town. Taking a breath to regain his composure he begins his trek+ . "Now what do I do?... Friends? dont have them, Family? dead...guess going home sound like the best option" . +Haulting his movements he turns around quickly as a scent of a pack wolf is near, he groans lowly. Once again he tries to quicken his pace keeping his head low though his mind is running with thoughts and scenarios. Shaking his head again to get rid of the ideas he closes his greenish blue eyes as he walks, hands clenched tightly by his sides. Just get home and everything will be ok...well hopefully if the pack wolves want to fight he will give it one+ . +Not looking up from his small world inside his head he doesn't notice the person...well werewolf in front of him and bumps into them landing on the ground with a groan. As he looks up and around he finally gets himself back up dusting off his clothing and picking up his bag. Quickly turning to the direction of the figure and begins his apology+ . "I-I'm so sorry sir or ma'am I should have watched where I was going...if you like I got money if you need it?" . +Dipping his head down in respect he finally looks at the person...wait no it wasn't a person, he can smell that much. With a small exhale of breath he looks back up to lock eyes with the other. Keeping his guard up but at the same time keeps his vocals soft. Taking another intake of air through his nose a relieved sound escapes his mouth though with a gulp he silences it...the werewolf in front of him was thankfully not a pack wolf but he smelled of a loner. Turing his gaze away from the male in front of him he scans the surrounding forest+

Night Chetan | M | Loner | 24 | M: Theo, Open
Night was almost completely up the trail when something ran into him. He turned to find a male dusting himself off. He blinked as the man started to apologize for himself but then the wind changed slightly, bringing the man's scent to him. Werewolf. Male obviously. Loner. Night took the man in, his mind making a mental dialogue of the man's appearance. Light tan skin, roughly 5'5, hazel odd eyes, dirty blond hair. He had a bag on him as well but it was blocking any scent that Night could sense.
Night let the man finish his apology before saying calmly, "No problem there mate. I don't need anything from you either." Giving no indication that he knew that the male was a werewolf, he tilted his head to scan the woods nearby. Realizing that the male was doing it too, he stopped before running a hand through his hair. "Coming from the market eh? Anything good they're selling today?" Night said, keeping the Australian accent ready.
He normally liked to exercise a few different accents to make it seem he wasn't from around the place. Kept people from asking too many questions of what he knew. Because if they asked, Night always felt obliged to tell them. And then he would have to make an excuse of how he knew it to keep the questions down. Thankfully, this little town didn't ask any questions which struck him as odd but they simply might be used to travelers. Quickly snapping off his thoughts as he realized he wasn't listening, he looked back at the man to see if he had responded.

Theo Black // Loner // Male // 23 // Mentions: Night, Open . "Are you sure?... I have a small cabin just up this way if you want to rest or clean yourself off" . +He inquires pointing his thumb up the path that they were standing on with a raised eyebrow waiting for the male's reply. Opening the small bag he pulls out a small red sucker and pops it in his mouth nodding t the taste, eyes soon go back to scanning the woods around him. Two loners together in pack territory may be seen as a threat to the pack wolves, especially in the open like this+ . "The market?... Yeah I guess they have some sales on, especially the candy stall and the meat hauler got me some nice hides for dinner and a new skin rug made from a fox" . +He explains pulling out the folded rug from his bag to show the male in front of him with a soft smile, though he was acting friend his guard was still up, they both may be loners but he has had encounters with others before and it didn't turn out so good for either of them. Dusting himself off once again he rearranges his hood back onto his head shuffling his feet a little+ . "Listen...standing in the open isn't something I want to do for much longer especially when the pack mutts could be around here and see us, so what's your choice?" . +He didn't mean to sound rude but he really didn't like standing in the open, and right now he just wanted to get home and relax in his cabin. Putting the fox skin back into his bag he looks back up at the male with a tilted head. Being in a pack though it seems nice having friends...family, and even others to protect you from harm, he sighs too bad he was born into the loner bussniess+

Night Chetan | M | Loner | M: Theo Night listened to what the man had to say, perking up slightly at the mention of staying someplace before quickly hiding it. It had been quite a while since he stayed somewhere that was nice and in the woods. Most cabins he stayed away from considering hunters, pack wolves and campers. Not many cabins were empty either so he couldn't be near the woods as much as he would like. He listened to what the male had else to say before nodding, "I'll have to pop in on the market then for some hides. That sounds like a pretty good deal."
The male went on to ask his choice and Night noted how he said "pack mutts". He must have figured it out as well, and why wouldn't he? Werewolves had the best sense of smell even in human form. Night looked behind him once before giving the other man a nod. "It's dangerous standing out here like this. There's nowhere I need to be at the moment so I'll take you up on that rest stop." Night said, lowering his guard just enough to show he was friendly. A small gentle smile played at his lips, hardening only a few times as he looked out over the forest.
From how the man had said about pack wolves, Night definitely knew he couldn't tell him that's who he was looking for. He remembered only a few things from Sammy and one of them was that she hated to be alone for a long period of time. She would have found a pack and the only one around here was the Ravik Pack. Unfortunately, he didn't know where that was nor if she was in it which meant he would have to do some investigating work. Perhaps this rogue had seen her sometimes? He'd have to ask. As for right now, Night looked over at him, letting him take the lead before saying, "My name's Night by the way. What's yours?"
