I smile. I can't let my pack see how really scared I am. I have myself up and force my tail to wag. I look around for my mate, be he is gone. Where'd that fluff brain go?

Luna trotted up to Nightingale. "Would you like to go on a hunt?" They asked empathicaly, tail wagging, the only source of affection or happiness Luna ever showed to another wolf. Except once. They had smiled with Persephone. Her wagging tail dropped and Nightingale gave a curious look.

"You didn't have to come this early. I just came here to soak in the river one last time." Misty flicked her tail. "And so I had time to gather herbs. Silver pack isn't going to bring their own."

Persephone fell silent, feeling defeated. She wandered around the riverbank, bored. After a while she eventually flopped down next to Misty, laying her snout on her paws. She eyed the herbs Misty had picked, which were in a neat pile. "so uh, mittens, wasn't it?" she said awkwardly, "can i ask you some questions?" i have nothing better to do. and i might as well try and make a friend. it would be nice to have someone to talk to when we leave with silver pack.

I want to see the wolves off, but they hate me. I get up and look for Sparrowhawk 1 more time. I accept that he is not they I walk away from camp. He probably hates me too. Slowly, I move in the opposite direction of the mountain. The lake is that way. I've always been spiritual. Maybe, if I have not gone too far, the ancestors will hear my prayers to protect them.

"I really don't know if he's awake or not, maybe he's out there doing his thing, you know him" says the young wolf, pointing with her nose at the forest that surrounds the clearing and the cave system where they live, and adds: "Well, how about we go look for him? Maybe we'll be lucky enough to find him in his den" She looks at Wander, waiting for her response.

"Okay Wander, see you in a little while" Mirai says and then heads to Oriole's den. When she arrives and before she can enter she sees him coming out of it, with a sleepy face. "Good morning, sleepyhead" she says, amused, "Wander and the Alpha are waiting for us." She notices the feather behind his ear. "What a pretty oriole feather you have there."
