Juno's head started to ache a bit, but it was still swallowed by his excitement. The elegant dragon was watching him from a few feet away, and Juno was sure from little details in her expression that she had the same headache.

He heard a quiet, muffled voice greet him telepathically. Junover's excitement was growing quickly. Psychic communication! It was weak now, but it would get stronger after the bond was locked in. He tried sending a response through his mind- 'Hey... what's your name?' |

Kiran | Elf | General | Male Mentions: Neryth (dir.), Zynar and Avika Kiran nodded, briefly glancing at his dragon before momentarily leaning his weight onto her foreleg. He let out a sigh of discontent as he watched the Queen and her bonded dragon converse, head already twinging from the newfound stress of teaching such a seemingly young dragon how to protect a vital source to his world. To Neryth, he huffed, "She's never bonded before. Why now of all seasons? To a dragon that will clearly not see his first century for decades still. Oh, the stress!" With another grunted noise of upset, he gently pushed off of Neryth before taking a few steps towards the Queen. Although he wasn't dumb enough to interfere with her discussion, he needed her to know it was nearly time to begin the ceremony. The most recent dragons had finally caught sight of the last remaining riders, and she would need to take a break from soul-searching with her new bond to maintain her duties. |

Zynar | Dragon | Male | Trainee Mentions: Avika (Dir.), quite literally everybody else Zynar paused for a moment before answering, choosing to start with her regard to spring. "In the spring, the dragons will take the hatchlings out for the first time. Although the mountains look rather rocky, there are plentiful meadows both near and far to our homes. The hatchlings have often never seen such open space, and it's wonderful to see the joy they have at being free." A wistful smile graced his face as he thought of times long forgotten, before he shook his head and let out a disgruntled snort to the Queen. "Cattle are rather fatty, in my opinion. I'd much prefer to stick to leaner meats. After all, you don't keep this figure eating whatever you want." He winked at Avika, before his skin suddenly began to prickle and his head swung up to scan the clearing. Everything was looking at them. Humans, elves, and dragons alike all stared with rather peculiar expressions, varying from disbelief to mild concern. He fought the urge to hide the Queen, panic briefly shooting down his spine. He thanked the Gods the bond was not yet strong enough for her to feel his possessive urge to hide her. Disregarding his internal quarrel, Zynar sat taller, neck arching in a regal s-shape as he surveyed those who were bold enough to look to his rider, the Queen. |

Norrix | Elf | Female | Trainee Mentions: Ocean Breeze (dir.) Norrix felt the dragon before she saw her. The pale grey dragon stood opposite her, and she felt a tingle of anticipation as their eyes met. Without allowing herself to second guess, she began to stride across the clearing towards the dragon. As she neared, she noticed how young the dragon looked compared to the rest of those who were bonding. Slowing her steps, she halted in front of the dragon, a serene smile plastered on her face. "Hello," she whispered. "I do believe I belong to you." |

Neryth shrugged, snorting softly. 'I believe he will understand. And if not, I can put him in his place.' She grinned, with toothy enjoyment. She quite liked her position, having the ability to put dragons in their place. She enjoyed the fact that they respected her, and often feared her. Neryth would never admit it, but she was a vain creature. Her scales were always pristine and sparkling, her claws sharp. She wanted everyone to know she was important, and for them to respect that fact. And for the most part, they did. 'Besides. He has to know how important she is.'

It was weak, it wasn't like she could fully make out everything that the voice was saying but...it almost sounded like the voice was asking...what her name was called? Soare stepped forward so the two were only two or three feet away, she squinted, looking deeper into the eyes of the elf boy. She shut her eyes and focused deeply, "...Soare. My name i-is Soare." The female dragon opened her eyes and sighed, she spoke again, "What do they call you!". Soare didn't want to ask sentences two long, it might be hard to interpret... Could this be her partner? |

Avika : Elf : Queen : Female M: Zynar, Kiran, & all (dir.) Avika smiled, thinking of the baby dragons and how cute they probably were. She could feel the eyes of several creatures on her and her new dragon, dragons, humans, and elves alike. But she didn't mind. Her role meant she was already quite used to being stared at. Noticing Kiran's approach, she stood a little straighter. "Unfortunately, duty calls," she said, giving Zynar a weary smile. She reached down, flattening out her skirt with the palms of her hands. Motioning with one hand for Zynar to follow her, Avika stepped towards the center of the clearing, her designated spot for the speech she was meant to give at each of these Ceremonies. Clearing her throat, she called, "Attention, everyone!" Avika waited for everyone to quiet themselves and turn their attention to her. |

Kaisen grunted. "She hasn't... this is new. The Queens and Kings don't typically get a bond. It's extremely rare for it to happen." He scowled slightly, hand clenching on the hilt of his sword. Noticing the Queen's movement to the center of the clearing, he flicked a hand for Nyx to follow him before taking his place near Avika in the line the already bonded dragons and riders would form. As he passed Zynar, he eyed the dragon up and down intently, scrutinizing the dragon. 'Hm... I suppose he'll do.' He thought. Kai approved of how closely the dragon was guarding the Queen, and how protective the dragon seemed of the elven Queen.

Navi blinked, hearing the elf queen's call for attention. She twisted, angling herself so she could stand close behind Asteria in a protective manner, but also allow the smaller human to be able to see. She sat down, curling her tail around the girl's legs.
