She made her way to a corner, was tried snatching her coin purse but she held it tightly to her side. A few evan got up and made a circle around her. She decided anything with the name "Pub" in it, want exactly a nice place she'd ever go in again. She picked up her pipes and played spirited tune that made them start to dance, she smiled at them and bolted away

Karma found herself watching the girl, tilting her head. She reminded Karma of someone...but who? The crow shook her head, keeping her distance on the treetops. She knew Alosha was still looking for her, but she felt pulled to this creature. Her troublesome ways. And her talent of being able to weasel out of situations. Ah! Karma knew who she reminded her of. A young Alosha.

The crow flew off. It was getting late and she didn't want Alosha to go looking for her in the middle of the night.

She trotted and hopped through the roads, weaving around humans and other creatures. Allegra looked around realizing that the sun seemed lower than she thought. And she looked around for any sort of shelter for the night

Morrigan had made it back to her 'home' if you could call it that, a shabby room she was renting for the time being. Gosh it was hard after everyone can running here, crammed together after the... incident.

Eventually, Karma made it back home and was startled to see that most the lights were off. She flew inside, banging right into Alosha. Alosha yelped in surprise. "ACK!" Karma trilled, hopping back a few steps. "Oh, it's you." Alosha sighed, turning the lights back on and sitting down. "The shadow shifting is so I can get around more easily and be stealthy. I'm supposed to be better than this. How did I just let you surprise me like that? I should have been able to sense you from a mile away!" Karma, who had turned back into her cat body, meowed, looking up at Alosha with pitiful eyes. Alosha rubbed her forhead, frusterated. "Honestly, I think i'm mosre useless to myself than I am helpful." She picked her book of dark magic, flipping through the hundreds of pages. "All this seems useless now, Karma." Karma laid down on the carpet, flicking her ears. "I know, I know. I shouldn't be giving up. But you know how hard i've been training!" Alosha got up, putting her book back on the shelf. "Useless, useless, useless!" Edited at July 7, 2023 04:21 PM by Hairball

Allegra found a small area in between two houses, like an ally but smaller. The roofs of the two buildings gave her some overhead shelter. But it didnt make it any warmer. The night was cold as usual and she leaned her head back against one if the walls. Wrapping her arms around herself trying to get some sleep. Edited at July 7, 2023 04:27 PM by Red Ash

Alosha got up after a few minutes, sighing. "Okay, one more time...maybe I need to reread that page..." She grabbed the book again, staring at the page about shadow shifting. "For one to become a shadow, you must connect...what that's even supposed to mean? Connect with what? UGH!" Karma stared at Alosha silently. "What are you looking at me like that for? Maybe i'm thinking too much..." Alosha sunk into a dark corner of the room and closed her eyes, trying to quiet her brain. All of a sudden, she felt herself falling. "AGH!" She opened her eyes and found herself on top of Allegra. "W-what?" Alosha was very confused as she stood up. "Uhm..." She tried to say something to the girl, but she was in too much shock.
