Rocky You begin walking down the straight corridor, your fur spiking a bit as you feel something in the forest has... changed. You don't think much of it as you go on. You're so focused on surviving, you almost step on some little Bouncing white things ahead of you. You stop to see what it is and realize they're tiny, eyeless frogs! You're glad you didn't step on them, and quickly step around them, noting their location in case anyone ever has a quest for them. Past the group of tiny frogs, there's another split in the tunnels. As you try to decide what to do, you're struck with vertigo as the mushrooms around you, providing your only light.... suddenly and horrifyingly... flicker. Like a failing light bulb. You stand with baited breath for a moment, as it seems to recover itself. Holding your breath for a moment after the flickering stops to make sure it won't fail completely. Before shaking the stress from your fur and continuing. -You May- Go Left Go Right Go Back

Sunset Ghosts said: Nanuk -You've earned 3 foxglove!- As you gather the pretty plants, you realize you're rather thirsty... perhaps you'll find a River soon, what with no rations. However, there's also a small gametrail under all the foxglove, leading away. -You May- Follow Scurry Trail Go Back the Way You Came Follow Gametrail
Nanuk stashes the foxglove inside of her satchel and then continues to follow the scurry trail.

Start Mushroom King Moth Astroya Adira Jari Spirit A wheel with player names on it will be rolled to decide on the turn system. . Stick Together? This is sort of a voting system with more than one person in a party. If it is a tie, time will pass and an event will occur while you are squabbling. . Split Up? This allows a party to split and have their own adventure as they reach the main goal, recommended for large parties (3+) . Order is Jari > Adira > Moth > Spirit > Astryoa . As the five of you leave the camp, you all feel that the forest has shifted... changed fundamentally somehow... it chills you to the bone, and you remember that it's not safe here. There are three cobblestone paths ahead that lead into the forest where you'll start. -You May- Split Up (individuals) Split Up (groups) Stick Together? Nanuk You continue along the scurry trail, hopeful to get out of here soon. Luckily for you, the path seems to be getting easier to follow. And you quickly come to a small, abandoned Cabin. In the front yard, wriggles a screaming mass of rats... all trying to get away from each other, some of them infected and some of them still fighting off the sickness. -You've found the Rat King!- It hasn't seemed to notice you yet... giving you time to decide what to do. -You May- Rush and Attack It Attempt to Sneak Up on Them Abandon Quest

'Jari Stepping into the forest, the glowing fungi and a strange feeling sent chills down her spine. It's as if the forest had changed the moment they stepped in, knowing what they were there for. To kill the dragon. "Welp. I would say we split up into groups and go down all the paths, but there's five of us, which means someone would have to go alone.. meh. I say we split up into three groups and one group goes down one path.. I can go by myself down one path."

Adira The fur on Adira's back stood upright and stiff. She grumbled in annoyance, hating how the forest made her feel like a scared feline and loathing how a forest seemed to change at will. It had a mind of its own, and worse, an evil mind. "I agree with the big cat," she announced, clearly already forgetting 'Jari's name.

Spirit scuffed the ground with his paw. "I agree with Moth. We should stick together. The forest is weird. We could get lost and not find our way back."

Astroya thought for a moment. Granted the forest felt even weirder than it did in the first place it might be better if they split up. On the other hand everyone would be safer together. She debated it for a moment, weighing any pros or cons she could think of. Finally, she sighed and spoke up. "I believe it would be best if we stuck together. It'd be too easy for someone to get lost and we barely know each other's scent. We just won't cover as much ground," she stated confidently. It'd be better to keep the party safe, even if it makes the quest harder.

Mushroom King Party The majority of you decide to stick together, so you respect each other's wishes and continue on. Because none of you know where you are or where you're going, forward is the best direction to go in. And you march on. As you walk, the cracks and creaks of the forest make you wonder if you're hearing it shift far off in the distance... but you soon come to a large hole in the cobblestone path. It's the entrance to the Lava Tubes! As far as you know, the best place to go is The Lava Lands. A place where all kinds of dragons congregate. Perhaps the Mushroom King rules there as well? -You May- Enter the Lava Tubes Go Around and Continue on Path Split Up?
