After she finished her pear, Allegra started again to explore the cobbled streets. Again, everything seemed lifeless. Only a few people stood outside their homes, the rumbling still shaking her from time to time, and the sounds didnt get any quieter. She now had daylight to look for shelter and see the things it was usually too crowded to see.
Her hooves made a clopping sound as she trotted down the roads. There was much more than she had expected.
The old clay buildings were all different, some were shops, selling useful or just random things. And some were homes.
As she kept on trotting further into the village, she stopped near an ally. She peared inside. It was uninhabited, some were, and had good cover. She saw scraps of metal and other things around it.
An idea came to mind, she walked into the small space. The area was larger than she thought, and completly covered up top. The end of it was blocked off so she had one way in ad out, and the buildings seemed to veer outwards, giving her more space inside the ally.
